    Are multiplayer races (challenges) available ? I think not, because I could play only single player races.

    I remember all those races. Never such an exciting feeling in any other racing game. There was a challenge and always room for improving the driving skills, all cars offered a different challenge. I think it depended on a controller a lot, bikes are especially suited for a driving wheel. I sometimes can come back online, but I miss those races.

    Gonzal0ox, did you have an error message? I am using Windows 8.1 64-bit. I had an error message saying "The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I downloaded and installed d3dx9_43.dll free from Microsoft, and it fixed my problem.

    I got the same error message today the first time and I don't know why. I use Windows 8.1 64-bit. TDU worked alright for a couple of weeks with Windows 8.1. I tried searching the internet for a solution, and I found the page "How do I get Medieval 2: Total War to play on Windows 8?" on answers microsoft com. (Sorry I can't post links yet.) The page is not about TDU, but the error message is the same, so I tried to follow its advice, and performed a clean boot of Windows. After performing the clean boot, TDU started normally without the error message.

    I have Windows 8.1 32-bit and TDU works fine. Processor: Intel E8600 core2duo 4GHz, 4 GB ram DDR2, video card Radeon R9 290X Matrix Platinum. Wheel is an old Logitech Momo.

    Yes, is it possible to get back online races? I also wanted to do single player test runs. Is it possible also that some day the online races work again as multiplayer races like they used to with the original server?

    What game controller you use? Do you use wheel? I like to drive only with a wheel. I am asking advice if someone has compared different wheels, so that he knows what is the best wheel for TDU now. I am planning to buy G27, if the force feedback is good now after the fix. I tried using G27 in TDU a long time ago but without FF it did not feel good, and I sold my G27 out. I used to drive with G25, but it is broken now. Now I own a Logitech Momo, it is very old and force feedback is not good.

    I am waiting anxiously too. I remember you okar, you were so good with S7. It was a long time since racing TDU online, in 2011. I used to race about 5 years from 2007. My G25 was burned down just before the server was taken offline. It is great to race again, a nostalgic feeling. I quess I need to buy a new wheel, is G27 the best for TDU now after the fix? Thanks for Speeder and all.:D
