  1. I must be one of the few who really want to play this on Windows 8.1 right now. I bought a used copy off eBay and it won't work on my PC (it has no DVD drive so I made an ISO from the original disc). At first it says 'wrong disc inserted' so I tried YASU and now it says about not being compatible so I do not know what to do? I tried what was in the YouTube video and it did not work for me. Ian
  2. This does not work for me (I assume you mean Safe Mode as a clean boot?). Is there a patch for Windows 8.1 support? Note: I can play the game fine on Windows 8 using a NoCD patch but I want the soundtrack so how can I somehow rip the soundtrack from the CD to play in the game? Thanks - Ian
  3. I recently purchased this for PC from eBay but, because it is old, it is not running on my windows 8.1 PC. First of all my Windows 8.1 PC has no DVD drive. I made an ISO from the CD using my other PC and copied it to my Windows 8.1 PC using a USB stick. When I run it after installation (full install) it fails to load saying that the Test Drive Unlimited DVD is not inserted even though the ISO is mounted. I downloaded a no CD patch and then it loads but I want the superb soundtrack. So, I uninstalled, reinstalled it again from ISO and used YASU to hide the optical drive (even though my PC does not have one). Now, when I run the game it says: This application is not compatible with the installed operating system. Please upgrade to Windows 98SE, Windows 2000 or better. Compatibility mode does not solve it. How can I play the game using the ISO I have mounted? Furthermore I have a Logitech F430 USB joypad, how can I get TDU to detect and use that? Many thanks - Ian
