Docent reacted to Milli in TDUPE cars performance editing - need help
It doesn't indeed. For a couple of reasons.

1 - 0-100 time is really quick, and most cars reach it in 1st or 2nd gear, so, to get a massive change on the time by changing the gear ratio, you must make it reach 100 in 1st, or shift to 2nd, possible third really quick. But in this case with short gears, usually is better to make it lauch from 2nd.

2 - TDU gear ratio, only change the ratios indeed, even though you set a different final, it won't change the final. Final ratio in TDU is controlled by the value you set in "Top Speed", that is what really control your final gear.

3 - There are different ways to increase acceleration in TDU. Other than gear ratios, there is the acceleration value, which will increase acceleration in every gear, which you can balance out with Drag, if the top speed gets way higher. Another way to increase acceleration is by increasing the Grip value, but then you will increase the overall grip of a car. Even other way, which is grip related, is to change the weight balance, and add more weight to the traction wheels, if it's a RWD, throw the weight more to the back, which will result on having more grip at the rear. FWD works the other way around, more weight on front = more grip on front wheels and for last, but not least, you can mess with vehicle size values, increasing the front/rear overhang can make a weight shift aswell, so you can get more or less grip between front-rear, like you have by changing the weight balance itself.

Zenvo is a mid-engine car, so it might have something like 48% to 45% of it's weight on the front. To do that in TDU PE, you must set the % of the front weight. Values over 50 means the car is front-heavy. Like a FWD, for example.

Edit: Side effect might happen though with the weight change. If you don't balance it out properlly, your car might end showing a "drop" once you start moving.

Edit 2: Another way, is to edit the .btrq file, to make it have more/less power earlier.

BTRQ files are in the exterior BNKs of the cars. it's basically a power curve of the engine, which you get on dynos in real life. Find a torque curve for the car you need from google and replicate the curve in the BTRQ

Adjust BTR file, the realistic acelaration is between 60 and 75,81 exceptional cases and the grip between 1000 and 1200.

Uhm, I didn't mod TDU in a decade, but I think you need to edit the BTRQ of the cars, in addition to the acceleration values (and horsepower, torque, weight etc)

    Note:
Prior to this announcement, I have already been in contact with the mod team and the original Diablo,
what I found out was they were somewhat concerned about future of this community because the previous buyer wasn't being transparent.

    Here is what happened:
the buyer auctioned this site after owning it for a month (maybe that's his business model, maybe he doesn't have time...)
which I purchased and I am here to assure you this community won't show up on auction again.

    About myself:
My internet name is Eudemon, changed the avatar just so you can differentiate, I am an Anime fan + casual gamer (used to game a lot),
I have offered this account back to original Diablo but he wants to remain as insaneone due to change of life style.
I am a software engineer lives in United States who specializes in web application development,
I own a community myself for over 8 years, so I have a lot of respect for insaneone for keeping it alive 11 years,
I am not interested in making money off this site, I want to help the royal members like you by developing a better system.

Here is what I am going to do (in no particular order):

    Removed invasive ads, removed donation

Migrate forum system from xenforo to invision power board
This will speed to deployment time of features because my other community also runs on it, effectively avoids keeping two different versions of system,
I know this community already went through the transition from vbulletin, I will test the move in my local environment to make sure seamless migration.
In addition, it comes with other features including, but not limited to:
Download section, which will allow direct mod upload to the site
Gallery section, for creating personal albums show case screenshots
    Personal Blog, Club etc
Direct integrate Wordpress (news site) with the forum, allow single login across both area, and sharing session time
Redesign of entire site, which will be more visually integrated across news and forum.
Migrate to my custom private cloud server, this will ensure both performance and uptime
SEO changes, fixing broken links, layouts, SMTP emails etc
Custom scripts will be written for things like calculating in-game mechanic

Wiki, News contributor program, expand in other area, collaborate with my other community if we have enough anime lovers, building social media presents and more

by no mean that any of above is decided so please let me know what you think, if you feel uncomfortable saying certain thing, feel free to shoot me an PM.
Please continue to support the community by regularly visiting and posting news updates, as a new member to the community I look forward to learn from you guys.

Download the TDU Modding tools by DJey (Latest version), go to Vehicle manager, go to the slot your new car is on, go to colors, go to the color you want the second interior on, select one of the "AC (None)", click add, you will see a dropdown popup select a color you want, click okay, click save. Optionaly you can copy paste the new color to other exterior color slots.

Increase Grip. This will give you better traction at launch. Will improve cornering aswell.

Also, try to do the 0-100 times with traction control on, manual and always lauch with high RPM.

Well, your mods are known for having the driver flying around, but what i said is, it is better to have this issue than have the game to crash, which is what happens with Miha's mods.

Same issue as the Fiat Coupe. It happens more often with Miha's mods. Luckly, i got another Veneno mod and replaced Miha's one with this.

Did happen at some time, causes are multiple: memory leaks, added content by mods (graphical, database). Preventing game to load more data into memory.
Let's remember that 2006's game engine may suffer of that feature overhead.

Patch 1.68b is known to have indesirable side effects on traffic, as well.

Change the IK, or you need to open the 3D model and edit in zmodeler, which i really don't recommend in doing so.

TDU Modding Tools tells you all that. Which field is which.

First field is the name that will be displayed.
Second one, is their behaviour, and what caused the "PansLeDVD" issue before.
Third, PNJ, is how the driver will look like.
    Forth i never really touched.
Fifth is where in the map they will show up in free roam.
Sixth is which car they will drive.
Seventh is which color that car will be displayed
Eight is how often they show up.

That's because you don't edit it with Modding Tools. You must extract it, run it throught TDU UT, find the code line, change the according value, run through TDU UT again, and then replace it. If you mess anything up, the game will crash.

That is not the shop location, never was and never will be. That's just a billboard. I won't tell you exactly where it is, because that is part of the fun in TDU. All i will say is, it's near the shop you actually bought that Impala.

I don't know. A bot that uses any Zaz car is non-existent. Not a single bot is set to use them. And is fair to remember that the "zaz" car is actually TDU's Default car. They will show up any time the game can't load any car.

There is, yes. Edit the acheivement.db, and you can set Ace level at any %.
