    Except for multiple of the links which are from 2017 and 2018. Also, the devs addressing the concerns means absolutely nothing. The fact is that Daemon Tools contained/contains malware, what the devs have to say about has no relevance because there's no reasonable explanation for it. I don't want to start a debate, but are you seriously suggesting that a company that has been spreading malware for years and lying about it (which are both very illegal), can be trusted to have their software on your personal computer? Please be joking.

    Please don't spread misinformation, especially in this case where it can be harmful. Daemon Tools Is malware, whether you untick the options in the installation or not. Evidence:

    There are cracked executables with the 4GB patch applied included in update 1.04 of Platinum.

    Project Paradise relies in that d3d9.dll, so removing it will obviously break the game. This is what might fix it: 1. Check the file properties for both the Project Paradise Launcher and TestDriveUnlimited executables, make sure no compatibility modes are set. 2. Make sure to exclude the games from your antivirus and/or use CustomD3D support in RTSS/MSI Afterburner if you're using them, same goes for other overlay programs.

    Genuine question; since the majority of car mods are models pirated from a plethora of licensed games without any permissions, what is wrong with modifying them further? None of the mod authors own the rights or licenses to the cars and/or models in question in the cases of them being ripped from Forza, Need For Speed, Gran Turismo, etc. etc. so why should anyone care about nonsense "mod theft" which doesn't make sense in the first place?

    Has anyone installed this alongside Platinum? I would've presumed they'd conflict and not work together.

    I started making a list, but it seems every 2nd or 3rd car is missing (or very quiet) sound in certain views. Usually when in cockpit/hood/bumper view and looking back, but too many to list. Still working on a list of cars with wrong animation (which it seems is not only animation, but cars act like they have paddle shift as well) and cars with unsynched cockpit gauges. This isn't to seem negative or hate on the mod, just bug reporting. There's an option in the Paradise launcher to disable steering wheel + character, would it be possible to implement something that just disables the character and not the steering wheel as well? That would be a good alternative in my opinion.

    Is it possible to create a bug report and/or support thread? I've quite a few but don't want to spam the topic each time I come across one or seem like I'm trying to fault the mod, just constructive criticism to help improve. Bugs found so far: Many cars don't have sound in certain views and/or when looking back. Cockpit cameras for some cars are too close to the steering wheel. Some manual cars have paddle shift animation for the driver. Buying any of the "TDU Platinum" cars at the custom dealerships seems to cause random game crashes when opening the map (still have to test and confirm this one), correlation =/= causation
