FIXED IT! 
I REPAIRED ALL OF MY REDIST VERSION (2013 TO 2017) AND NOW PROJECT PARADISE IS WORKING

Damm, it worked, did not expect this to fix it, but all i did was download C++ 2015 - 2019 both x64 and x86, installed them and now it's connecting

Hello all. Been lurking for ages and decided to finally make an account. Short story;
When I was a kid I bought an original Xbox at a thrift store for $25. It came with one controller and four games. Project Gotham Racing, NFS Underground 2, Midnight Club 2, and Test Drive (Called TD Overdrive: Brotherhood of Speed for everyone outside NA. . Over time I collected more games; Midnight Club 3, MC3: Dub and Remix, 4x4 Offroad, PGR2, a couple of rally games, and probably a dozen or more others. By the time the HD era arrived and the Xbox 360 came out my OG Xbox was starting to show it's age and use. I actually had to gently punch the top to get it to read games sometimes! So I had moved to PC gaming with titles like GT Legends, Colin McRae, and more. Then my childhood friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse. My $400 Fujitsu Business laptop for a lightly used Xbox 360. It came with 4 controllers, 50+ games, and the HD AV cables.
One of those many games was Test Drive Unlimited. After making a gamertag and convincing my parents that it was totally a good idea to pay for Live for me, the first game I tried was TDU. Over the years between then and now I played many games of every genre, but the only game that doesn't say The Elder Scrolls on it that I clearly remember starting it up for the first time is TDU. The graphics, the physics (remember, first X360 racing game), the sounds, and the massive for the time map. TDU is what really made me love cars. And, I made some online friends that turned into IRL friends that I still have. There has been a million racing games before and since TDU, and half of them are better racing games. But aside from NFSU2, none of them have the magic. None have had me spending hours figuring out how to make them run on a modern system.
So thanks. Thank you Turboduck for still being around all these years. Thank you Speeder and Milli for your efforts, PP and Platinum are why I found this again. Also thank you to all the great people I've met in the last month on the game. Amazing to see how far a community will go to keep a game alive when it deserves it. Okay I'm done. See you on the streets. 🏎️

Decided to drive a bit today, and joined a random session. A player, SChloe83 recognized me as soon as i joined him and his friends session. And then from there, the session grew, even @TDU Iceman showed up.

He post an announcement in youtube that he is playing this TDUP live and I found this patch

All opinions are welcome but we would appreciate a more friendly tone than this.    
If someone genuinely wants to improve the experience for the community based on what others have already modded then that's great.  If someone appears to only want Internet fame then it seems that most people here will detect and resent that.  If you wish to continue discussing the topic I would suggest doing so in a new thread, so that this one is kept only for discussing TDU Platinum.

From Project Paradise, here's a working download link to the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel Fix.
What it does, it fix the Force Feedback for the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel. A must have if you play with this wheel !
Instructions:
- Open RAR file and extract the "dinput8" file into C :\Programs Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited
For full experience, I would recommend to launch paradise_laucher.exe or TestDriveUnlimited.exe with the Logitech controller app.

Just the usual stuff everyone's watching atm. Saw Avengers: Endgame recently, and finishing up Game of Thrones.
Also The Trip was indeed great.

You know how to check your rank progress when you're in your house, right? It's under the info tab.
Anyway, progress isn't so much about points as it is about completing tasks. You have to gold cup all the missions, buy 15 houses, buy 50 cars, buy 3 cars of certain brands, buy clothes, drive the whole map, and log 5k miles. Multiplayer tasks have been modded out, so you'll reach 100% completion and Ace rank if you just complete all the singleplayer tasks.
On a side note, everything is buyable without having to grind missions if you buy cheap tuners for the races, and cheap houses and cheap cars to fulfill the progress requirements. I had well over $1 million left after buying all the essentials for Ace rank. Afterwards, you can just sell all the filler cars and clean out your garage.

I gotta say I just downloaded this mod pack and I am blown away by how much detail is in these cars. It's better than fh4 IMO. Milli you did it.

I can't test it myself, but if this actually solves the problem for everyone, then I think it would also be a good idea to create a simple script that automates this process when TDU is run. Then upload it as a mod or post it in the faq. But first lets see if it works for everyone.

welp, i was in the same situation as you
playing the game for some minutes, winning some races, and then the game suddenly starts to drop to 2-8fps, after some time it just crashes

I solved this by lowering the ammount of cpus wich the game can run with

its pretty simple, open your game, minimize it
open task manager, right click the game .exe
click in "go to details"
set affinity
unmark every cpu except CPU 0

well, this will help you if you are using a multi-core CPU
this game was made for way slower cpus, so it can get confused and frustrated when you use multi-core cpus

also, make sure to create a new game after you reinstalled the mod with the Megapack and the Patch
this definetely fixed the thing for me
i'm having many hours of joy playing this game now
