Can't install Platinum Patch - 7-zip "can't open as archive"

Yeah, it turns out WinRAR managed to do it. If someone finds a way to make 7-zip do it, that'd be cool, but until then this is an option. -
Okay, so I've been wanting to try out TDU Platinum. I downloaded the main mod and the v1.12 patch from this site's download section. I managed to copy in the 1.0 main mod just fine but I can't seem to work out the patch. I downloaded the three files given (.zip, .z01 and .z02) but trying to open or extract the .zip file (the smallest one, as instructed) just gives me the attached error. What do I do?

So I downloaded all three files, have them all in the same folder, tried clicking on the .zip file (smallest) and got this error from 7-Zip. What do I do?
