@Car Freak Nope, road rules are not used, as this is basically a race from checkpoint to checkpoint. the quote in the first post saying 2This is a rally, not a race" means that the spirit of the gumball is to race, but in slower cars, rather than all A class cars. Yes, tha map is incorrect where you've said, thanks I meant to change that before but forgot :( The map is there for a guideline, as it's the quickest way, but you of course are free to go which ever route you wish to go :) @Mb, I've put you down for the Golf for both days, as you havn't confirmed which car you will be driving, but you can change this anytime (before friday) as you didn't take part on tuesday....

Yes, you may, however if there are 8 other people (who have already taken part in 1 other session) apply to take part on november 2nd, then they will take higher priority - sorry - but I hope you can see my reasoning.

They need to make a Reventon Police Car! or a Buggatti :) Plus, the video has been removed from YouTube - the one from you're post link. Still, very nice shots! - I highly doubt that the cops use these cars for chases, as the cost of damage would be too high!

I've posted rules about it in the first post, plus as soon as I created the map, I posted it here, so you could have looked at the map and learnt it off by heart if you wished - if you do not know the route, u only have yourself to blame :) Plus I allowed people to look at the map on the forum between the stages. It's all down to Michael Schumacher! When he was found to be in the wrong before, his job was on the line from the FIA, then he virually told them that he was the main selling point towards F1 (as he deffinately was!) so if they got rid of him, all their money and profit and F1 would go downhill. So they let him get away with some stuff ... and Ferrari have retained that "control" over the FIA :) Don't get me wrong, Michael was my no. 1 driver until he left :D

Yes, number 5 is a dead end road, but that is the checkpoint ... where we stop, let people catch up, and work out who came in which poisition. Plus, no GPS is allowed in this, even though it was only Speed who was using it, as we didn't fancy not being able to re-connect to people. So I'll add a bit into the rules about GPS etc.

Right, on friday we will be doing stages 4 / 5 / 6 (so start at pontiac garage near the airport) and we stop at the lambo garage in the bottom right, then we go to the view point marked 5, then bac down to town and up again to view point marked 6. Please can u say if you're still un-clear as thats a pretty simple route to follow :)
