Not just you, everything seems to be shut down, official site, forums (fora?) and both games ( TDU1 and TDU2). I wonder what happened. Perhaps the janitor, cleaning the server hall saw this big,fat cable lying there on the floor stopping him from cleaning just there and unplugged it. To put it back he discovered there were at least ten sockets to choose from, so he just thought, Oh forget it, and left it on the floor. Make sure you have installed Djay's Magic Map mod, because this file is bigger than the original.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Not much seems to happen with TDU2 in the near future, so I'll be driving in TDU1 for now.

They replaced the game engine from TDU1 to do just that, sacrificing the handling/physics/controls(FFB).Happy now?

Hi, I just want to say I'm back to TDU1.I'm a 39yo swedish guy and been on TDU1 from the start. I have 3 profiles running in TDU,they are V8Addict(my champion)/Magni[sSRA]/TurboNalle[sWE].I'm back from TDU2,and I must say for driving TDU1 wins ,hands down.I rarely load up TDU2 any more.I'm on PC btw.

Apparentlty, I jumped for joy too soon, now they're gone again! Oh well ,it's saturday night and I've got other plans, hopefully Ill see you online tomorrow.

Try the key code for the Megapack again , it's easy to get it wrong the first time.

I'v heard that IGE files come with a no-cd hack to make cracked copys work, so you won't get any help here.

No, obviously your disc is FUBAR and you really need a new copy,sorry.

If your disc is scratched, I've heard (read) people fixing it with a little dab of toothpaste on a rag and gently rub the disc and it worked. If it really is scratched and you know this is the problem, it could be worth a try.

If you can't see any players in map view (the red car icons) just wait awhile and they will show up eventually. Sometimes I have to wait for a full minute before anything happens. In the 3D view sometimes it can take 10 minutes before some one shows up. It could be a slow connection or something. If you have waited longer than that, then something is really wrong.

Go to bottom of the page and adjust Display options.

They all look the same, but yes that seems to be the right one (the map icon is the Dodge badge).You should now be able to enter it. Inside wait a few seconds for the car to show up.

Probably the wrong dealer, you're too far south. This is a Dodge dealer only, the icon is a ram's head (Dodge). If you are coming from the north point of the island, I think it's the 2nd road to the left and then a right. To follow Summoned Cabbage's thought, can you enter any of the other new dealers ( Lexus,Ruf,etc )?

There's another US Muscle Car dealer up north. Go to the north point of the island, then go SW by the coast road a bit and you'll find it by a sideroad.

I'm glad you like the TDU sound of the RS4, I don't. I prefer the Cambiocorsa sound for it and I just wanted others to try it too. If you don't like it. then swap back to the original sound ( provided you saved it!) and no harm is done. Each to his own I think.

in Control Panel in Windows I have everything set to zero, except FFB strength which is set to 100 % ,and turn radius to 540 degrees. In game you can start setting everything to the middle and work from there. It worked for me. Hope this helps a bit.

For those of you,who don't like the sound of the RS4,V8Vantage( or the Lotus Esprit v8),and don't like any of the downloads for these cars, swap the sound of the Maserati Cambiocorsa to these cars. It's the same size of the V8, and the rpm is about the same.It's one of my favourite modern V8 engine sounds, and it will give these cars a new life.You'll need the Magic Map mod though, the Cambiocorsa file( Mas rst ) is bigger than any of these files. Edit : Sorry, I just saw there was already a thread about sound file swapping, I'll search more carefully next time.

Anybody knows if there is a mod for replacing the schoolbuses and the firetrucks in TDU? I know this is not a big deal, but I hate them. I mean, how many schools and fires are there on this island? A standard bus and a simple cargo truck would do fine. I would use this mod offline only of course. Every time I see one of those, I feel the need to ram him off the road or street (esp. if he occupies the left lane on the freeway:mad:). Maybe I should see a doctor instead?:rolleyes:
