  1. Time to show how I really dress... http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/ibeagoth.jpg Yep, I be a goth. Don't make me look at you with a sense of disdain... God, I look like I'm 12 or something. I'm actually 21... The trousers didn't come out too well. Those are actually 'octopus' trousers, i.e. they're really baggy with all the random straps dangling off them.
  2. 2002 Fiat Punto 1.2 8-valve 5 door: 60bhp. Total: 60bhp :( Average: 60bhp :( I also have a mountain bike. If I were to do this for my parents' farm it would be a little bit more respectable though: 2001 Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0HDi: 110bhp 2000 Land Rover Discovery Mk2 TD5: 136hp 2002 Fiat Punto 1.2 8-valve 5-door: 60bhp Ferguson tractor rust bucket, no idea how old: ~25bhp Total: 331bhp Average: 82.75bhp Hmmm, slightly better. My excuse is that most of them are diesel, and diesel engines are more about torque than all-out bhp. Then again the only petrol engine in the group is also rather pathetic...
  3. Am-eh-zing car tool. I can't give you rep though, as I just gave you some for the M3. I just found that smiley, 'tis awesome. I shall use it more.
  4. No. No it is not. The one in the megapack is a later, uglier version of the Charger. :stinks:
  5. I fail at being a bus driver.
  6. I found an epic video of a hacker in multi-player. It's a rocket-SMG. Can we embed videos on here? Can't remember, click anyway.
  7. Handling mods are lame if used in multi-player. What's even worse is the number of people using rocket-pistols in multi-player too. :oook: I have modded some cars though, just to add the truck exhaust effects to them. Fun times. I've also got the Sultan RS sounds on the NRG 900, so it's a turbo bike! I added the truck exhaust effects to: -Bobcat -Rancher -Patriot -Mule -Steed -Yankee -Burrito -Pony -Securicar -Stockade -Enforcer -NOOSE Patriot -Bus -Boxville I may have missed some... I have NOT touched the handling of the cars at all though.
  8. Stunting with the Mule in the airport in multiplayer. It went a bit wrong, rofl. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2009-01-0300-04-54-95.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2009-01-0300-04-29-28.jpg http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2009-01-0300-03-02-73.jpg Eugh, converting them to jpegs from the bitmaps fraps saves has made them go all grainy.
  9. Back on topic: I saw that new screen of the 300ZX and thought "phwoooaaarrr!" Am-eh-zin work tool.
  10. Aaah, Grampian Police and their LPG-powered Ford Focus estates... lol. I do see the odd undercover Vauxhall Omega V6. Yep, they still use them. Lots and lots of Astras too. Whenever I'm further south though, towards the central belt and outwith Grampian Police's boundaries, I see lots of silver BMW 5-series police cars. They're pretty snazzy looking.
  11. Vital Equipment. Yay for macro shots. The objects shown in that photo pretty much sum me up.
  12. Black Square - Similar properties to a black hole but smaller in size. Still provides infinite amounts of energy though. The exact details of how it works, and which laws of physics operate within it, are as yet unknown. Also, just one word for the LP560-4. AWESOME.
  13. Yeah, you need to jump onto them from another boat, you can't get on from the water. Then you need to walk up both flights of stairs on it to get to the bridge. But they are driveable!
  14. Double post FTL, anyway... Look at my nice bike: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-1916-04-58-31.jpg Look at the super evil truck  http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-1918-27-19-34.jpg I got a car into the hospital! http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-1917-39-15-78.jpg I found a tug-boat! http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/TUG.jpg EDIT: Page claim.
  15. So does that spoiler in your sig.
  16. They're not requesting, they're speculating. Anyway, I think I'll install this for a laugh.
  17. If I'd been taking pictures of my day today, it would involve the inside of my Punto, a Kwik Fit building, a bus, and my computer. It will involve another bus, and the same Kwik Fit building later...
  18. I'm drooling already with that first picture... It looks sublime in black.
  19. 2 people?! There was only myself in the car. I was just playing in a server with those guys. They were a few streets away, still at the swings. Here's a stunning view... No, I mean the park! http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-1521-34-42-62.jpg
  20. This is a result of me, Reaper, TSS, Iced, and Loz playing with the swings of death. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-1620-11-26-45.jpg
  21. I'll just post links. Carmageddon is totally back. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/03.jpg Whoops, me being a berk in multiplayer. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z245/matt88sco/GTA%20IV/GTAIV2008-12-0922-38-43-85.jpg
  22. I have it all at medium or sometimes quite low. I also have the video editor switched off. I still struggle to get over 20fps. I did a benchmark and these are the results: Statistics Average FPS: 19.47 Duration: 37.30 sec CPU Usage: 97% System memory usage: 68% Video memory usage: 88% Graphics Settings Video Mode: 1152 x 864 (75 Hz) Texture Quality: Medium Render Quality: Medium View Distance: 44 Detail Distance: 28 Hardware Microsoft® Windows Vista" Home Basic Service Pack 1 Video Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Video Driver version: 180.48 Audio Adapter: Speakers (High Definition Audio Device) AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ LOOK AT THE CPU USAGE! 97%! That's what kills my fps, I can put the graphics up and down and the fps doesn't change at all. To get a benchmark, just add -benchmark as a command line and run the game, it plays a video then dumps these results in a text file in documents\rockstar games\GTA IV\benchmarks Remember to remove the command line again if you want the play the game!
  23. Nice reply Joe, I agree wholeheartedly. One thing though. It does a strange thing where it eats your CPU, but my graphics card only goes up about 5 Celsius from idle no matter how long I play it. The only times it crashes are because the CPU usage hits 100%, then the FPS dies and it crashes back to windows. I have a sidebar app which traces a graph of CPU usage, when I quit GTA IV I can see the lines for both cores way up at the top, right up to the point where GTA IV ends, then they just drop down like a cliff. My processor ain't too shabby either, an Athlon 64x 5200+ (2.6ghz dual core, basically). I think it needs a patch to somehow divert some of the work to the GPU instead. If that's possible.:oook: Otherwise, I'll just turn down the settings a teeny bit. Hehe. Oh, also, post your GFWL usernames in here if you want, mine is SKC Matt88
  24. SUVs would be fun in TDU, but if I had one installed, I'd go off-road in it. Then I'd think "oh, yeah..." when I remember that TDU's physics engine doesn't really support proper off-road driving... :(
  25. I playing it multiplayer last night, just free mode. I couldn't stop laughing though, seriously. 7 people each in their own cars, driving like total nutters through heavy traffic and cops. It then deteriorated into a demolition derby in the airport car park for a while, then somebody found a helicopter, so we were jumping cars over it. I tried to do it with a pickup and smashed the rotors off the top of the helicopter. :D
