Today, we got the announcement that TDU3, or better said, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is actually a thing. It's not a rumor anymore! TDU is back on the field!
It was announced today, at Nacon Connection livestream, their first live event they did, it featured a couple of games they are working on, but really, what we all have been waiting for was some news for TDU3. And we got it in a form of a teaser and information presented by Alain Jarniou, Creative Director at KT Racing Studio and a former TDU1 and TDU2 dev.  Anyways, enough talk, here are the videos:

Confirms a 5 year development plan, and may give clues as to a potential release window next year, assuming no delays.  5 years is also plenty long enough to expect a brand new location to cruise about.

Well I missed the repeat but I finally caught up today and damn was that another good one. :cool:
 
I really liked the 70 year comparison between Piaggio and Ferrari and the way it cut from the road to on the track with Matt shouting and all the noise! Rory in the Camaro was well done too and flying in Sabine to help bring down his time was fun to watch. Albeit, her method of teaching leaves a lot to be desired but it definitely got results!
 
The guest was good enough, she really could handle the car well and was not afraid to push it. Harris was clearly impressed.
 
And what can you say about Track-tor. Man, that was such a surreal yet clever piece. The way it was put together and the, what I imagine to be mostly real reactions and talk of Matt and Chris, made for a properly entertaining bit.
 
Again, I have to give huge admiration for the production quality this Top Gear team is putting out. The wonderful environment and action camera shots coupled with the raw sounds are for me especially, really enhancing what is being seen on screen.

I've enjoyed them all so far. Dare I say it, its a bit better than the grand tour.
Yes the BigFoot segment was quite dull and stretched out, but holy shit Matt can ride a bike.
 
I still find Rory to be a bit of a 3rd wheel and find him boring even when he's doing really interesting segment.
Plus I am getting really tired of Harris' not so subtle digs at the old crew. Him and Matt are much better drivers than J, R and J others so he doesn't need to be a git about it so often.
 
The Japan challenge was good, I just wish they'd actually try to sell their cars when they got back rather than trashing them just before they left.

It's been a LONG time since I was last here and a whole lot has happened! Three different cars, a new house and a little boy!
 
The latest car in the fleet is the sublime 2006 Lexus IS250. Beautifully smooth 2.5L V6 and a comfort level that was almost unheard of in 2006.

It's a 2014 Peugeot 208 1.5 Allure (Panoramic roof). 53.000km driven, manual gearbox, feels almost brand new.

– Updated the Modders group to be able to edit their threads and posts for an unlimited amount of time in the Mod Shop forums
– Added ability for 'tduck team' (ie: staff) members to be able to change the edit time limit for individual posts when required
– Moved all old non-important topics from the News forum to News (Archives)

– Went LIVE with tduck version 3 on Xenforo
– Installed a media pack that supports the display of content from popular media site links automatically

all these people complaining about grinding, I've made 2.5 mil just playing yesteday for 2 sessions, I think people really got used to stuff getting handed over to them with these new games they just want everything anytime. There are sales and sale bonuses all the time, made over 10 mil on the bunker sale bonus week, not to mention I got the bunker in the first place when it was on sale for half price. You just have to play smart and not buy another set of bulletproof tires for the car you barely drive.

I can wait longer but I really hope they nail it sooner rather than later... the current crop of racing games are nothing but mediocre, wrapped up in gilt shell.
 
But i fear it will just end up being another HalfLife 3-esque saga

Well this is something totally unexpected! A brand new Heist for GTA Online arrives on December 12th and it is looking EPIC!! :nuts: It might also bring a close to the whole Mount Chiliad thing too, which will be amazing to see if it goes the way people are thinking.
