Turned out to be a great race after a bit of a crap start behind the safety car.
Shame about Max not being able to hold on to second place but with the decision on Rosberg still not known as the stewards are taking their sweet time, Max could still get P2.
Roll on Hungary!

It's a bit wet at Silverstone... With only 15 minutes to go. If it doesn't ease off the race might be delayed. >.<

Hamilton, Rosberg, Verstappen to start in the top three for tomorrows race.
Apparently it was close between Hamilton and Rosberg but 3 tenths of a second in F1 is like comparing a 1 litre Ford Ka with a BMW 3 series. :hmmm: Home advantage for Hamilton maybe?
Would love to see a bit of rain tomorrow to spice things up, even more.

Welcome to the nuthouse!

Tucked up on at my mums house. Will be getting moved to my garage when the MG has gone.

Goodbye old friend.
Yes, I know my garden was a mess, this has now been fixed...

Great news to see that he realised this and didn't drag it out till the end of his contract or until he got sacked.
I'd be fairly happy with Harris, Reid and Sabine as the main presenters. If the producers let them just be themselves then I think it could be a pretty good show, especially with time and once they all settle in to being behind a camera, or 10 at any one time.

Or maybe it's Kimi just not wasting word.
Don't normally like the Car Throttle videos but this one was fairly entertaining to watch thanks to Kimi being Kimi.

Times have been set. I think you should leave me with a challenge if I get time at some point this week.

Crash at the end of FP3 for Rosberg. Snapped rear wishbone when on the kerb sent him into the wall which means they have about 2 hours to rebuild his car and also a 5 place grid penalty for a gearbox change.

Indeed I could but that's also full of pitfalls. If I park near the trees my cars gets covered in sap and bird crap. Or I could park in the overflow car park and swim to the office and get my doors hit by other peoples car doors again. :(
Could always buy a car cover just for when they cut the grass.

Most of the grass has gone after the torrential rain this afternoon but next time they do it, which they will, I'll take a picture.

I did not realise that this layout made the track go in reverse. Fun track though with the bumps on the entry/exit to some of the corners.

Really liking the back of the new Panamaramnama. And the Cactus is a slight, very slight improvement over the current Cactus but it's still rather hideous in my eyes.

Trust me, we don't share spiders, we have daddy long legs and white tails and that's about it.
You have plenty of Sheeps though, right? Fearsome creatures.
I don't think I'd say no to a move to Australia or New Zealand if the opportunity arose in the future. It would also provide the perfect chance to holiday in Tasmania so I could go on a safari and look for Taz.

I agree. They actually gel together unlike certain people in TG.
And did he say first of 12 episodes?

It was very meh indeed. Another forgettable episode.
I do hope the rumours flying around about BBC wanting to drop Evans are true though.

Some actual proper good day stuff. Someone got wind of my CV and rang me for an informal chat about a new job in the area that I want a career in. Sounds much more promising than anything previous. :)
But to cloud it up the clowns that cut the grass in the carpark at work used a leaf blower and blew what seems to be all of the grass in the world onto one side of my car. So I now have a 50% white and 50% green car that makes people sneeze as I drive past them. Only washed it a few days ago. :bmad:
And bacon is so overrated. Unless you spend good money on decent stuff, then it's nice but I'd prefer a Gammon joint any day.

I think Hamilton will be on top through Friday and Saturday morning but run wide on the penultimate corner on his last flying lap and lose pole position to Rosberg because of it. Kimi will be out for another Sunday drive in the race not really giving a damn. Vettel will throw a tantrum because a Red Bull is in front of him at some point during the weekend. Button and Alonso will be fighting over 10th place for a point.
There will also be a puncture.
But it would be nice to see a bit more overtaking that's not just on the straight well before the corners which is something the A1 ring can often provide.

An Amazon original, but probably like the proper Top Gear. :hmmm:

Early reports are that Rosberg actually got a penalty, 10 seconds. Which means he drops down to 3rd place, promoting Max to 2nd which imo is deserved after that impressive overtake he made and he would more than likely have finished ahead of Rosberg had he not been told what to do over the radio.
