  1. Hardcore mode was very simple to create for Atari. I am pretty sure they only reduced gravity and nothing else. That forces you to enter in corners at lower speed, starting braking at a much longer distance of the corner. One other thing, you can almost fly when going at +300km/h on a road with bumps.

What is very cool, is Hardcore Mode on the track, with no electronical assistance (I find it better, even if I play with keyboard hehe^^).

  2. I know what the problem is. I must complete any sort of race before I can use the map safely. Funny, no ?

If I use the map after completing a race, ok. If I use it once again and I did not finish a race, it crashes.

So every time I want to check the map, go somewhere, I must run a race before that, lol.

  3. @TSS :

I don't use the No-Dvd crack, I just use Daemon Tools with options like Securom + Safedisc enabled.

The game launches slowly (I mean, you can see it loads like you have a real dvd in the dvd player), so everything looks good, the only problem is that when I use the map, the game crashes. It's quite impossible to play without that map...!

    I've got 2 solutions, I think :

1.That's why I wondered about burning the game on a dvd, will this be effective?

2.Uploading my ORIGINAL tdu (lol, ~3.5gb) on the net, allowing me to download it on my pc and burn it on a dvd!

  4. I tried to delete the radial folder too, to see if it will resolve my problem (when I use the map, the game says network connection was lost, and if I click ok, it crashes...), and it didn't. I am not using a No-DVD crack, but the original .exe, so I don't see why it crashes like that.

Do you have any idea that could resolve the problem ? Driving around without the map and still trying to find races is difficult (and you have to remember which race you have already finished)...

What about burning the game on a DVD, will it change something ?

  5. It seems that I will always have some bugs, unfortunately. ^^

When I press the "m" button to see the map, I often have the message "Network connection was lost" and the game crashes. But if I play a few minutes without using the map, I don't have the problem when I want to use the map again.

The only real problem is that I can't use the map when I need it, and I don't know when it'll show "Network connection lost" so that TDU don't crash.

That isn't very practical, because I have to find races and places without using map or I'll risk to crash the game. A part of that, the game is working wonderfully.

  6. Thanks Pherelas.

@TSS : wow, that sounds like a long way to load the game, why is that ?

Yes, the game works, I have been trying hard following some Enzos & other supercars with my brand new Alfa Romeo GT... This game rocks.

What doesn't rock, however, is the bizarre addition of fake RS4 + fake Skyline. Why fake ?

They are true lemon. The RS4 performs like a tired V8...

In real life, an RS4 should get around 290-300km/h with a chiptuning, and here, with stage III it goes hardly 280km/h. Same for the skyline!

Now, I would be pleased to see you tomorrow on the Island. I'll try to earn some cash and buy an interesting car or I'll won't be able to follow you!

  7. Thanks again for the kind welcome.

@Randomus : Okay, but since I have a cracked copy that is in my hard disk, should I burn the game on a DVD-R ? I have Daemon Tools and "Yasu", but they don't work is it normal ?

  8. Hey, now it looks like I can get connected BUT it says that to play online I need the update (which I already have... v1.66), I click okay, the game appears to freeze a few seconds, then I'm redirected to a site http://none.com and the game quits.

Do you have any idea what can I do with that ?

  9. Thank you guys!

If I can't resolve my problem, that would be nice if one of you may test my login to see if he can connect or not on the TDU server.

    But I'll try again tonight.

@diablo : You really have a total mileage of 50k ?! That's like driving a car normally (normal speed, normal frequency of use) during 3-4years in the real world!

  10. Hi,

I didn't played TDU since last summer. Now that I want to play it back again, I notice I can't connect on TDU server.

I've created another login on gamespy.com, nothing worked... I also tried to let the game create another login (when you create a new profile), doesn't work!

You should know that I don't have my TDU game (original copy) with me (I'm studying abroad) so I downloaded a cracked one. However, I am using my original key ! So I except it doesn't matter I have not the original one.

Please help me, this is frustrating me, the game isn't worth any value without the online mode!

  11. Hi guys, I'm RaveDisc, I'm from Switzerland, Geneva.

I like sports and entertainments. Love TDU.

    Favorite car : Corvette Z06.

It's a shame they didn't put the Honda NSX!

I hope I'll have fun with you during race tracks, freerides!
