  1. Thanks guys, nice to see this place is as welcoming as it was. Yeah I've been fine, just busy working a lot. Just got myself a PS4 and trying to get back into gaming again so naturally the first community that came to mind was the home turf. I hope everything has been going well here, good to see theres people left I remembered.
  2. What's up. I'm James. Used to be on here back when it was TDU:C (hence my join date) but been away from the whole gaming/auto community for a while, just getting back in to it. I hope to play with some of you soon and share the next few car builds I take up. So yeah, hey everyone.
  3. Asian Pack Nismo Skyline R34 GT-R Z-Tune Hyundai Genesis Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Road & Track Ferrari 360CS Ferrari F40 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera Lamborghini Murcielago LP670SV Rally Pack Lancia Stratos Ford Escort RS Cosworth Nissan Pulsar GTi-R Subaru Impreza WRX STi (GC) SUV Pack BMW X5 BMW X6 Land Rover Freelander Lamborghini LM002 Hopeful these are all quite likely, but just as doubtful :(. Aside from those, I'd love to see a nice array of BMWs, Mercedes and Lamborghini's are too.
  4. Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spyder for me. Nice sound at low cruising revs, nice sound at high speeding revs. Perfect all-rounder IMO. Ferrari 308GTS there too, again, nice sound the whole way through. I would say the Veyron Grandsport (just bought it, love the look and sound of it), but the temptation is always too much, and I end up cruising for about a minute, and doing 200mph for the next 9 minutes every time :p. The novelty will wear off soon I think. Also, one reason for buying it was I love the interior, but the view is too close to the steering wheel IMO. I do hope they fix that soon, or release a "Seat Position" option (like in TDU1), but it's doubtful.
  5. Platform: Xbox 360 Cars/Graphical (1) Not really a problem, but it's pretty funny: when you view the data on the Veyron Grandsport, it says it has a 7997cc "Inline-6". (2) Also, not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but whenever I'm signed into Xbox Live when I start the game and exit my house, it just sits on the screen with the view of my garage door from the outside, with no car coming out. The only way I can drive/do anything outside of my house is by playing without Live. I don't know if this has anything to do with the fact that I wasn't connected to Xbox Live when I started playing the game the first time.
  6. I like the Zonda and F430 sounds more than most of the other cars, but my favourite has to be the 308GTS sound. Can't explain why, I just love it. As for "most realistic" sounds, I'd probably say 370Z or Impreza (at low revs). Overall I think the car sounds are nicer than TDU1 though.
  7. Sure, I think so. There's always going to be complaints about every awaited game, because everyone has "Is it worth it" thoughts and look for the negatives. Sure, the physics may not be the same as GT5 or FM3, but they're sure as hell better than TDU1 (speaking from an X360 player, can't speak for G25 use). The graphics are great, the day/night cycle is a nice aspect, the cars are detailed (with better sounds than the first TDU, but again, not GT5/FM3 level), there's a lot to do, a lot of furniture to furnish your house with, a lot of houses, a lot of cars, a lot of clothes. I think it's great, but if you're looking for a simulation (which appears to be what a lot of TDU2 players with complaints are looking for), then look past TDU2. If you want a huge, open world, with lots to interact with, lots to do and lots of places to go, then you shouldn't be too unhappy with TDU2.
  8. I love the SUVs, I think they were a great addition to the game. Granted, I use the RR for cruising more than off-road, and the Lancia Delta felt like it was a better off-road car, and I did get sick of the long off-road races while I was doing them... but after spending ages driving an S3 and Golf GTI on roads, escaping to the dirt again in the RR is a great relief.
  9. Brilliant video, really does show the beauty of the NSX. Where was it filmed? Was it all in Germany?
  10. As soon as it happened, loads of people on /an/ and /b/ on 4chan got on it, got the e-mail for the YouTube account that uploaded it and found what is most likely the girl on his Facebook friends list, and from that her details, address, everything. So the next few weeks are going to be interesting.
  11. Yesterday, - Orange Gallardo - Black Gallardo - Black Gallardo Superleggera - Red F430 - Yellow F430 - Yellow F360 - Matte Black E92 320i - Black R35 GT-R - White Evo 9 But the most interesting: - Silver S2000 CR :p Never seen an S2000 CR before. Bored of Gallardos and F430s now, there's too many of them about :/
  12. I prefer fluorescent bulbs, but I don't like the yellow tint of normal bulbs. It makes the room feel too warm and soft to me. That being said, I haven't made the switch in my room yet.
  13. Palm Pre (on T-Mobile) Piece of junk, I hate the stupid thing. iPhone was stolen at the beginning of summer, so I'm forced to use it until I have money for another iPhone.
  14. • Mirror's Edge (completing it on PS3, done it on my friends' PS3 so many times and never mine), and looking for a copy for X360 now. • Picked up Final Fantasy XIII for X360 the other day for £17.99, so been playing that a bit. I like it so far, haven't had time to play it much, the graphics are amazing, and the playing style like X2, which isn't too bad in XIII (wasn't executed well in X2 IMO). So far, I prefer X and X2 over it though. • PGR 4 just for the car sounds, just shooting up and down the Brooklyn Bridge Straight when I'm bored. • Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 3, not sure if it counts, but yeah, spent a lot of money on that in the past few weeks. • Battle Gear 4, spent a lot of money on that too. And I enjoyed the Mafia II demo, so I might pick that up at some point.
