    Yes, just duplicate the game folder before installing platinum and make another desktop shortcut if desired.

    Did you keep the installation files for the first version of Platinum; you can manually copy what you need from there.

    As part of the installation process you will download the original Platinum mod then update it with patches. So just copy the weather files from the original mod folder and paste into your game directory in the same subfolder (Euro\BNK\FX).

    The gold version doesn't always play nice with mods. If you use Platinum then you won't need the mega pack

      Try going into the game options and setting Allow Online Interactions = No. I'm not 100% certain but it may allow the police chases to occur in freeride so that you don't need a second offline profile.

Most PC players have Xbox controllers these days but TDU1 was released before they were ubiquitous. More information: https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/2265-xinput-plus-v415290/ Converting from XInput (Xbox controllers) to Direct Input (older standard) will probably work out better.       On some routers there is a separate screen where you first create a custom service for each game or port number. Then in the firewall you can select that service (game) and link it to your gaming PC's IP address. Best you find a YouTube tutorial to explain it in more detail.
