  1. Hold the phone, why on earth did Volvo spend so much time making boxes when they were capable of this?
  2. For a second there I thought you lived in GTA V
  3. Here’s how Formula 1 will change, now that Bernie Ecclestone is out the door | Ars Technica
  4. That headlight/intake/body colour combo does not favour the Porsche
  5. If anyone is a member on WMD 2.0, you have until the end of January to: *Upgrade your tool pack if you desire (more perks) *Complete any necessary steps to claims those perks (i.e. ensure name is accurate for listing in credits or have an AI driver named after you).
  6. Could they perhaps have ironed and packaged it a bit better for that price?
  7. Bernie 'still has enough money to attend a race' Yikes, I knew those F1 races were super expensive, but I didn't realise they were that bad. How do they manage to pull a crowd?
  8. mau, carlos and softie for me, very closely followed by the compensator. well done guys.
  9. Reminds me of a cheat code for one of the old Need for Speed games that changed your driving camera view to something like that - was good fun for split screen races.
  10. Any attempts being made to import TDU2 assets (maps) into TDU1?
  11. From what I've heard from multiple sources, Nintendo provide hardly any support to 3rd party developers compared to Sony/MS - to the point where they're just plain old making things hard for them (of course the other platforms have their hoops as well), which along with performance concerns has justifiably deterred others from bothering to release. Since I never owned a Nintendo (my brother had the Gameboy Colour back in the 90's) I don't have any retro gaming desire there so I figure besides that audience it's still intended for Ages 12 and down.
  12. The only thing I can think of that may have a bearing: Not sure how you'd go convincing Milli that a fake/unlicensed car is JDM either
  13. TDU1 did not work particularly well with any laptops iirc, regardless of how powerful they were. i.e. I think it was programmed only to work well with desktop-class GPU drivers. If you do try it out be sure to update this thread with your results so that we can help others.
  14. We need to get you a Speshul badge, haha. I know many still play TDU2, but you're still the first person I've seen to say that here. :) Cars in TDU2 never felt like were connected to the road using tyres. For a long time they just rotated about the center of the car.
  15. That's a good thing, right? The Crew is still arcade of course but the cars do actually handle somewhat. Head down the north-west coast towards Eureka for the closest thing to a TDU vibe. There's one small stretch of road that is uncannily similar to TDU1's north west road.
  16. Hopefully one of these matches that (and you thought CLR was entry post playing it safe)
  17. Totally agree with FUEL (plus it has no houses!), but where do we see The Crew's map size on this scale? 1) Not enough 2) Perfect 3) Somewhat too big 4) Way too big I still have not driven every single square in The Crew yet (could do it in less than one hour if I really wanted to). I think the size is good. I don't think I'd complain if it were slightly larger or smaller. I would just change how some of the roads link up to make stand-out cruise routes. I think TDU1 proved that if you link up a bunch of great roads with great but alternating scenery/moods that can keep you busy for a play/cruise session lasting ~1-2 hours with solid physics and netcode any other feature gaps can be filled in by the players' creativity. Also important (to me) is having sections of dense city/residential streets - sure you may not drive them all, or very often, but it's something that NFS open worlds have always lacked and I find them inferior because of it.
