  1. The only thing I can think of that may have a bearing: Not sure how you'd go convincing Milli that a fake/unlicensed car is JDM either
  2. TDU1 did not work particularly well with any laptops iirc, regardless of how powerful they were. i.e. I think it was programmed only to work well with desktop-class GPU drivers. If you do try it out be sure to update this thread with your results so that we can help others.
  3. We need to get you a Speshul badge, haha. I know many still play TDU2, but you're still the first person I've seen to say that here. :) Cars in TDU2 never felt like were connected to the road using tyres. For a long time they just rotated about the center of the car.
  4. That's a good thing, right? The Crew is still arcade of course but the cars do actually handle somewhat. Head down the north-west coast towards Eureka for the closest thing to a TDU vibe. There's one small stretch of road that is uncannily similar to TDU1's north west road.
  5. Hopefully one of these matches that (and you thought CLR was entry post playing it safe)
  6. Totally agree with FUEL (plus it has no houses!), but where do we see The Crew's map size on this scale? 1) Not enough 2) Perfect 3) Somewhat too big 4) Way too big I still have not driven every single square in The Crew yet (could do it in less than one hour if I really wanted to). I think the size is good. I don't think I'd complain if it were slightly larger or smaller. I would just change how some of the roads link up to make stand-out cruise routes. I think TDU1 proved that if you link up a bunch of great roads with great but alternating scenery/moods that can keep you busy for a play/cruise session lasting ~1-2 hours with solid physics and netcode any other feature gaps can be filled in by the players' creativity. Also important (to me) is having sections of dense city/residential streets - sure you may not drive them all, or very often, but it's something that NFS open worlds have always lacked and I find them inferior because of it.
  7. #Ridingsomethingelse - A friend suggested we take part in the California Superbike school. For an extra outlay I rented a BMW S1000RR superbike. It ended up raining for most of the day which cancelled one of our sessions, but even in the wet and with the rear wheel sliding through every turn I was nailing lines and well over 200kph on the straight. We were also had no restrictions on passing (besides yellow flags, of course) and after taking it easy and getting stuck on the first session I didn't hold back on the other 3. Best fun I've had in ages. Dodgy photos of photos taken from the day:
  8. I was too busy finding the lap record for the Nordschliefe :phil:
  9. ^ Uhh @Diablo I think the summon feature is broken :cheeky: :jk:
  10. Did Kia select that number plate on purpose? Can we update the thread title or post more Insignia news? :)
  11. Planned updates for The Crew: Future updates detailed for The Crew :: Team VVV
  12. For those who purchased the game itself online via Digital River, there were limited activations. Exceeding these required customer support from either Atari or Digital River (more likely the latter). The DLC never appeared to have the same limitation.
  13. :hiya:
  14. Angelic creatures would count as aliens, right? (Alien literally means foreign)
