  1. One point that has reminded me of, I'm usually very fond of freedom in what you do, and so I will say archives are fine and all that, but please try not to just post your entire archives over the course of a few weeks. Thanks.
  2. 131. Going to school today. Yes beleve it or not, I'm just about to go off to school on a sunday :p What I'm doing there is fun, productive and with mates. And I'm taking my camera to give me and my photography loving mate something to do in the breaks. :D Basically its not the actual school I enjoy, but I'm a lighting technician at school and there is a rehearsal for the school play on today. Its fun!
  3. As the decision thread seemed over, I thought I'd take the liberty of making it. This thread is for posting your best photographs of the day. Only the best. For example if you go to a motorshow, post your few best photos here, then the rest in the 'Post Your Photos' thread or preferably for large numbers of photos, in a new thread. You may post an absolute maximum of 3 photos per day. As much as I am against the 350k rule (way too small), normal rules still apply. That is, no larger than 800x640px and 350kb. Let me start this off. Some shots I took in my garden today.
  4. 1) My Computer Sure its old and pretty bad compared to some peoples computers, but I built it, and it has served me better than anything else I own. 2) Sky+ If you don't have Sky+, you are missing out. It works so seamlessly and simply that even my mum can (sort of) use it. 3) PS3/HDTV So the PS3 cost a lot, but I don't care. Buying it on release was a good thing, as I have one which plays PS2 games as well. And my beautiful TV is wonderful as a second monitor too. 4) My Camera Not that new, not the best lenses i the world, but it has allowed me to prove to myself that I am good at it. And it has given me something to be proud of. 5) iPod Again, only a 5G 30GB, but it has served me well. It isn't slowed down by coverflow like the new ones are, and with my CX300s are also great. Keeping me occupied in journeys since 2006. THats the overall jist of things for me. I don't have the newest, most expensive, best tech in the world, but I love what I have and it has given me many years of what I want. And I won't get rid of them until they finally die.
  5. Tom K FTW. The only sauce you'll ever need. /And the thread title should be '...Your Favourite Sauce?'. You're British. Use your language correctly.
  6. I decided yours wasn't enough of a photo.
  7. Ich liebe dich auch mein freunde. :)

  8. Is it? To me that looks exactly the same, minus the E Classes rear light. What he did, was mod a car he created from two different cars (CLS and C63) with a single piece from the original car (rear light). That is not modding the original car. If you want to make the E into an estate, thats fine, just do it properly or not at all.
  9. You know not everyone can afford even a $15k car, let alone $20k. Even a V6 Charger is quite an expensive car. A V6 is more of a dream for quite a lot more people than you would clearly care to think.
  10. Got 17/20, becuase I'm not American, so have never heard the tagline 'Shift' or 'Pursuit of Perfection' ever before.
  11. Really, Mb - which part of that car is the same as the original?? I cannot find a single bit! Do it properly or not at all.
  12. He clearly doesn't have very interesting days... :p
  13. My entry: Took a while, but I think its one of my best pieces of work yet. Its my Mercedes Shooting Brake. -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- - Made into 3 door estate - Shortened wheelbase (I promised not to make it any longer :p) - New wheels/rear light - Windows tinted and car painted.
  14. Good pictures and all, but they always seem old to me. Do you ever take pictures of, you know, normal stuff? I would advise trying studio or macro style shots if you havent already. Very rewarding and very easy to do.
  15. Your skills evade you. Its the Karmann Ghia. As it says on the rear.
  16. ^^ The way I see it, assuming thats real (which it probably isn't), you deserve that if you are too retarded to hold on to the controller.
  17. Do you want me to be unbelievably picky and follow the rules precisely like you? If so, I should disqualify 4 of the 8 entrants - they didn't follow the theme. They didn't take the photos. Therefore they didn't follow 2 rules. Should I do that? Seriously 15kb is absolutely nothing. I know they are the rules, but 350k is quite very small.
  18. Rules Self Portrait Pictures! No Voting For Yourself! Koenigsegg http://i342.photobucket.com/albums/o429/Koenigsegg_album/Me%20Me/MallVarna16-1.jpg HighlineDSG Speedtouch -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Knuckles http://i711.photobucket.com/albums/ww112/TicTac_08/P1000095.jpg Car Freak http://i130.photobucket.com/albums/p265/1carfreak1/CIMG5573.jpg GalyPoland RB26DETT http://i360.photobucket.com/albums/oo47/jnskyliner34/IizBritish.jpg eleKtro http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l184/MadMax2506/Other/meandrich.jpg I think this theme wasn't thought out as well as I should have done. I was aiming for 'self portraits' not 'photos of me'. I'm disappointed TDUC. Some managed to take a photo of themselves, others didn't.
  19. Most beautiful car ever designed. Although that colour doesn't do it justice.
  20. Koenigsegg, you are one pretty weird minded individual. Even if it is true.:p And ignore him Safiro. You'll understand when you're older. :p
  21. ^ Online translators don't work well. A 5 second search revealed you used this one. They tend to be pretty bad at sentences (OK at single words, but fail at stringing a load of them together). I don't know Norwegian, so I can't comment on the decency of your comment's grammar etc, but I'm sure someone can.
  22. Have a great one mate. And don't do anything stupid. Well...that is up to you to decide. Saia, hade, guten geburtstag, und tchuss. :D
  23. I learnt quite a bit with my old Samsung L80, and still get praise for photos I took on that. All that a DSLR gives you is better photo quality, that is, higher resolution. Being a decent photographer involves being able to see a shot and use that to your advantage. Having a creative eye is key. But I would agree with Luuk on this one - don't spend your money on a DSLR yet thinking it will instantly make you good. It helps, but I found you can help yourself more by learning the basics with a standard PaS first.
  24. Partly the reason I chose it. Not because its easy, but because (I hope) it manages to make people more creative and come up with something different.
  25. Thanks guys! And remember - I promised not to add any more doors or elongate this next one. :p
