  1. The advert for episode 6: Contains spoilers, but is hilarious. Also some spoiler pictures here: Clicky I wonder what the details on the Dacia Sandaro we will get this week?
  2. That is actually almost exactly the same PC my mate has! Except hes just built his and it was probably much cheaper, because it doesn't have an 'Alienware' badge on the front. You got ripped! (well, your parents did) My PC is less...enthusiastic. AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.4GHz (single core) 1GB DDR RAM HIS ATI X1650PRO 512MB AGP 320GB HDD Logitech Wave Keyboard Logitech MX1000 Mouse (Excellent two pieces of kit) And there isn't much else to it. I built it about 4 years ago now, and haven't upgraded anything. And I can't afford to get a new one or upgrade it.
  3. A couple of final notes... cmuki: You changed your entry, but the picture doesn't load, so I'm entering the original one, unless you provide this thread with the new one before closing time. -Lr-SpeedraceR: I haven't entered you yet, because you haven't specifically chosen yet. If you don't I'll enter the first one - the rules say so.
  4. +1. When we went, it was an Audi A6 1.9TDi, but it was still great fun. We hit 125mph! Actually that isn't the fastest we've been in it. Me and my dad went 130 in it on a dual carriageway near my town (at 10pm), whereas in Germany we had a car laden with holiday gear, and were going slightly uphill...but still. And Mb, how about we have a race on the autobahns (...I mean a cruise...:cheeky:), you in a Spyker, me in an Aston. Yeah?
  5. People not from the UK might not get the first one... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxdMFRwztl4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yhN1IDLQjo
  6. ^^^^^^^^ Great shots Loz! And GT4 really still looks brilliant even now. @ShadowGT: I do have a 60GB PS3, and I guess it would still look better on a PS2, as the PS3 wasn't very good at supporting it (but I tried it when I first got my PS3, which was a long time ago now) Moar from me and rFactor. DTM - My favourite cars on rFactor. They are wonderful. Got the new drifting mod off rFactor Central, and find it OK, but I prefer simple racing. My favourite two (from the same epic drift you may have gathered):
  7. Yuhuh. You can tell from the place it was uploaded:... ...phyrefile.com/v/vi/viper007bond...
  8. You've only just seen that? :oook:
  9. Like the one Speed posted above...
  10. I get your idea, although I wouldn't have the R500. I would much rather have the Atom V8. I don't want a car known as one of the slipperiest in the world (Caterham) with too much power... WHAT?!???!?!?!!!??!? A van? My god you must be blind! I can understand why some would call it ugly, but a Van!?! Wow.
  11. Vista was brilliant to me. My computer died and I never got round to re-installing it (I had it on dual boot with XP). And I had it reasonably soon after it came out, so now it must be much better!
  12. ^ A very cool car indeed. It gives me a huge dilemma as to whether the Scirocco or the C30 is cooler...
  13. Any of you would seriously have a 9FF or an SSC? In the real world, none would be any quicker than the others, and what would you rather go on a long journey in, the luxury of a Bugatti, or an interior that you can tell came out of America? I definately wouldn't go anywhere near either car...I'd be speccing my Veyron in black and red instantly.
  14. You just haven't been on the internet long enough... A truly legendary piece of awesomeness from the start of 2004, from the same people who brought you the badgers. Good stuff.
  15. Its probably really old, but I found it hilarious.
  16. He randomly comes on and will start (irrelevant of what we are talking about) by saying 'ololololololololololololololololololol' loudly over the mic. Weird person.
  17. 2 Votes on PoTW because there were lots of entries. Spread them out equally between 2 threads, and you are only allowed to vote in one thread. The highest number of votes out of the 2 threads wins. And its been pleasant not hearing you olololololol in ts. :p jk
  18. I'm getting somewhere... Its called google.
  19. Looks nice. Although I'm not a big fan of tall and thin sigs (I prefer mine long and short)
  20. ^ Its not just the G25, its all games. None of them have a 'biting point'. Its just like the accelerator - just a pedal. There is no feedback/feel like real life gives you.
  21. --- Woke up ---- Jealous of my mate's car (which his parents bought for him - mine wouldn't ever do that) ---------- My sisters coming home tomorrow -------------------------- I need a job and money
  22. ^ Yeah that is the only thing I worry about. I fear I will never be able to get the hang of it thanks to my days in racing games...
  23. 1NSANE was insane. Basically offroading, but it was the first game I really played multiplayer on, and I owned (obviously). Also the very first Leisure Suit Larry was brilliant. I never got very far in it, because it got quite frustrating. But it worked on our old Windows 3.1 laptop, and used type commands for everything. And it is still the only game I know of to date which (because it was an 18), had a quiz at the start to work out whether you were the appropriate age. It also didn't accept you if you said your age was very high. This is what it looked like: This was a puzzle game in which you simply had to talk to every wall, look at every person and climb every ladder. Good stuff.
  24. Sorry for a bit of a bump, but two films that are pure awesome. Very different, but both brilliant. The first is Wall-E. Another great storyline added into some beautiful animations to make a lovely love story with a difference. Another great installment from Disney/Pixar. And a great short film before it as well - Now you're thinking in portals! (If you've seen it you'll understand) 8/10 The second is 28 Weeks Later. Yes I know its old, but I don't care. Its amazing. The camera work and music change instantly between moody and silent, and brilliant action shots. The plot is wonderfully written, and although I haven't seen the first film, in the first 5 minutes, we get the general picture of what is going on. And the ending gives you a lot to think about. One piece of advice though, if you don't like blood...avoid this film at all costs. It ain't an 18 for nothing. 9/10
