    What about the RS6???
  2. ^ I know how you feel about vans. Guess what I get to learn how to drive in? A '99 Renault Kangoo! Oh the joys of silly parents buying crap cars!
  3. Imageshack will do it for free. Just select the box 'Re-size' then choose 800x600, choose your file, then hit 'upload'. To post it on here, copy the 'Direct Link' box, then click on this button and paste it in: And I've just noticed that the finish date is wrong, so I've changed it. Its now the 27th July, not the 3rd August.

^ Woah don't get hasty there! Why would he do that to such a beautifu...oh no sorry I'm mistaken. :p

So not the 560bhp you hoped for then...;)
  6. No limits on entries, unless we get to a situation that PoTW got to, where there are more than 30 entries, but I doubt that is going to happen soon... And try to give us a full sized picture, because I can't be bothered to resize them to make them bigger or smaller ;) Edit: Also changed my entry.
  7. QFT. When you are going fast on a bicycle, there is nothing there to stop you from being hurt a lot. On a motorbike, what hurts you is the tree you become great friends with, whereas on a bicycle, its the road itself. Great fun! Anyone ever tried to get a speeding ticket on one (past a speed camera) Unfortunately we don't have any near to us, so I haven't. Although it isn't as good as driving.
  8. I agree with mellors, way too blue. A quick job on photoshop has it looking much better IMO. But very good designing there! And maybe if I bothered to spend more than 3 seconds on it, you could have the car as is here, and the background just as blue as before.
  9. ^ My opinions on them (I warn you now, I believe in constructive criticism): 1: Basic subject (cows), maybe a little too basic with nothing to catch the eye... 2: Beautiful sunset, perfectly captured (wow) 3: Doesn't look right to me. I think there is too much going on in it. 4/5: Taking pictures of direct sunlight never works very well, making it way too overexposed. 6: Looks too much like a holiday snap to be honest. 7: Very nice and simple, the B&W make it even better. Although I would turn up the contrast a tad (not too much!) I would advise either 2 or 7. Good stuff!
  10. Yeah. An automatic is called failure in life. I hope you don't have one... And anyone who (in the UK) gets an auto-only licence deserves to be shot for being stupid.
  11. One more for the Daves!
  12. ^ Pretty good I think. And which are you going to enter T3hReaper? My entry. I want to post this, but i'm banning myself because of over photoshopping. Edit: Changed:
  13. It is reasonably vague, but that just means we get a better range of photos, not being stuck to a certain thing.
  14. WEEK THREE Rules: Photo MUST be taken by you No huge amounts of photoshop - brightness/contrast, borders etc are allowed, but don't go over the top. Anybody who does (anyone can point out what they may think as such photoshopping) can be disqualified. No Voting for yourself! Photo sizes kept to 800x600 maximum. No thumbnails with larger photos please. Winner chooses next theme (by PMing me) If you post many photos, the top one will be chosen as your entry, but you have until the closing date to choose. Tell me if I've missed anything, thanks! Congratulations to RB26DETT for winning the second week of PhOTW! The new theme, chosen by him is: This week's theme: Outdoors Its a great place! You should try it sometime. Closing Date: Sunday 27th July. Good luck! Entrants: 1) RB26DETT 2) Car Freak 3) cmuki 4) zo6dude 5) TheScottishSpotter 6) Speedtouch 7) T3hReaper 8) Koenigsegg 9) 560BHP 10) Andreaz1 11) mistermojo 12) Pressurized 13) Captain_ClutchKick 14) 15)
  15. ^ Yes that red one looks like a 275 GTS Roadster. Nice cars.
  16. Yup. Sports day at secondary school is even better/worse. Better because its an entire afternoon sitting on the fields watching the weird mutant people running around. Worse because we can't go home instead.
  17. I'm now waiting on RB26DETT to send me the next theme. Congrats, and post here or PM me, your choice. :D
  18. ^ That silver one is a Ferrari 275 IIRC.
  19. www.finalgear.com If you are willing to wait for a torrent to download 700MB (with LOADS of leechers and less seeders - its not up just yet but wait a bit and it should be), then you get a full scale, full length TV rip. Good stuff.
  20. The GTR section was great, it really did look wonderful going round Fuji. And a damn good time from it on the TG track. It was nice to see a man on a lawnmower coming to save Clarkson... The news was OK, but the Sandaro bit wasn't the best, but you've got to keep it going. I was expecting the car James introduced (the Renault) to be the Dacia  And I would like to suggest Jaguar as not making a bad looking car. And the DB9 Volante is not ugly! The classic cars were hilarious. I want a 'Big' even more now  And the horn fight was brilliant. And I just don't like May's Roller. Dunno why, I just don't compared to that immense Merc. The guests were better than I thought. Not as cocky. But still nice to see a decent time from someone this series. And the foxhunt, well what more can be said apart from it was so funny. When Clarkson pushed Hammond over the horse, to when it started rolling when he was closing the gate. Excellent stuff. Overall a great episode. Not as good as last week's, but still funnier. This episode didn't seem as 'together' as usual, but still brilliant. 8.5/10.
  21. One problem with me doing a tutorial for this, is I don't have a macro lens, so my way of taking such 'macro' shots is very different to the method used with a lens built for the job.
  22. ^ Believe me, you don't buy a DSLR to 'just take photos' like your average holiday snaps. That Sigma seems a good lens to me, you just have to know how to use it.
  23. If I can be bothered I might have a quick run through of some helpful tips. What lenses do your parent's have? And DSLRs do have a point and shoot auto system, but they should never be used for that. But I'm not all used to all of the features on my camera. I still can't get the aperture to make any difference.
  24. I went to a thing like that a couple of years ago, in a 360 Spider :p They are pretty fun, and the cars are always amazing. Have fun!
  25. ^ Looks more like an assembly to me. No-one needs to pay attention during them. :p
