  1. Given that you do have a new PC and all, i doubt a fresh install would do any good, but you could still try that. And if you have a 64 bit system, don't put it into your program files folder. And since you have all of that precious memory, i doubt you'd use a 32 bit system. If you didn't replace your hdd try reformatting that. My last idea would be to disable crossfire, as TDU is kind of old and it is possible that all that muscle is a bit to much for it to comprehend. Beyond that it could simply come down to upgrading your drivers, or waiting for a new release with high hopes. But i do hope you figure this out, and that this was of some help. Enjoy
  2. The patch is totally great and all, but i have a hunch it's messing up interior camera views for some reason. Did i miss part of the readme or something? Take tools Diablo for exaple, the interior camera is through the roof (literaly). Anyone else experienced these issues and/or knows a workaround/fix?
  3. I guess this is the best section to post this, since it has most to do with the environment and the general feel of the game. Now, I found 2 files, named rblurmask.2db and rblurmaskmap.2db in the FX folder, while randomly poking around in the modding tools file browser. After opening them, i noticed they bare a striking reseblence to alpha layers of any normal texture. I'm no modder, but as an idea, could one by editing either or both of these files extend the radial blur effect further into the center of the screen? Because this could actually be a partial answer to what people have been requesting for ages: more blur. Or screw things up completely, but any confident modders, please take initiative and look into this, just to see whether or not anything can be done with these "textures". You know, as an idea:)
  4. Hi, i seem to have a problem with some of the cars i've downloaded and replaced ingame and that is, the dashboard in the interior view is REALLY dark when in the shade. It's ok if i have the car facing in such a direction that the sunlight falls on the dashboard but the moment i turn around the thing goes almost black. Is this a HDR issue and is there any other way to resolve it other than turning off HDR? And while i'm at it, how does one go about to brightening up the image when using enbseries other than increasing screen brightness ingame. I'm not using it right now, but if the dark dashboard thing is related to the game's HDR i'll probably start using it.
  5. You need to install the community patch 1.67d. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=12500
  6. Pretty sweet man. So are you gonna make an interiour. That would be sweet, cause cars without interiors just seem... incomplete.
  7. I did. But there's misty day, normal day and night. I'd like misty night. If i'm jumping to conclusions i'm sorry but i don't have the time to sit around for the entire cycle. I want it to be as dark as the night mod and as misty as the 50m visibility mist. Could someone tell me wich lines specifiy sun strength and sky colour? Maybe i could give this a shot myself. thanks.
  8. Would it be possible to combine the mist and night mods and have a misty night? Beacause the night mod itself does not reduce visibility and with the mist mod that could be achieved. So then you would have sunny day and misty night.
  9. More intense motion blur Is there any way to make motion blur more intense? Like to blur more of the screen, not just what's on the edge of the field of view. Kind of like underground. And also to make it show at lower speeds, because 200 km/h doesn't seem that fast.
  10. If you leave everything on default you should be fine with the forces. And of course you shouldn't use the centering spring. I recommend you use seperate axis for brake and accelerator. As for the degrees of rotation, if you use 180-210 have the linearity slider near the center. 900 degrees works well with the slider at the far right. Or left... I can't test it right now so do a little test, and see. I personally use 210 degrees because TDU doesn't natively support 900 and the whole thing feels funny. Hope this helps. cheers
