  1. Somebody say Pressed plates? Not just German euro-dub's can rock em.Euro only, British Built, Japanese branded can as well. ;)
  2. I'm on about the cyclists that act like they own the road, or cycle in 2 row making it harder to over take on a nice country road up in the mountains and refuse to go into single file! Got nothing else, I like a bit of off road biking myself, but it's road cyclists! (although I give plenty of room to when i can to over take, and admittedly it's not all of them) Back on topic: Yup, for Wolfie as well!
  3. Trying to imply something ;) - Bikes are safe alot of the time, sure if you have an accident your an organ donor but most of the time your safe. Just drive safely to road conditions. Okay you got the risk of a automobile causing the fault, but it doesn't happen that often. I used to hate bikes in general, but really don't mine them...would fancy a Triumph Bonneville myself. I hate cyclist's though...but thats another topic.
  4. Decked the 'Deck
  5. Somebody say "need mor low"??
  6. "Active Sound Design", that's the marketing name BMW have given there system which reproduces the sound of the engine, and pumps it into the cabin via speakers. Meaning that in the car you hear the growl of the engine, but outside the engine is actually much more quiet to keep things politically correct...I mean not anti-social. The feature is in the current gen of M5 as I'm sure most of you know, as well as in the current 135i. (I don't know about the M6 range, feel free to add if it does). But similar ideas are likely to catch on with other manufactures for there sporty cars. What's everyone's take on this? See it as dimming down the experience? A great idea? or not really care? I'm leaving my opinion for another post, just so the topic at hand doesn't seem biased to one side or the other.
  7. Tina is reserved for any Ford CorTina ;) At least in my eyes.
  8. @ Dan: I just realized your car's No plate. Your car's now called 'Nam' in my eyes now! So we have 'Wolf' & 'Nam' the Civics on here!
  9. Indeed you do(didn't see the cigi lighter/ash tray are not covered as well though;)). I just did the top part and seeing how it looked, then doing the rest after....that was 3 months ago
  10. Can't beat the mid-90's 'everyday' car though... Yes, original cassette player. And replaced the 'wood' trim with Zilla camo. ;)
  11. Each to there own on the styling, personally I think the Grande Punto is the best looking punto(in 3-Dr form), giving echo's of the Maserati Grandsport if you squint your eyes enough! Onto 'Wolf' though: Spent yesterday afternoon cleaning her, hand washing the worst of the bug splatters and grime from the past two weeks(and 1500 miles, most on country roads). After this I gave the inside a quick clean, taking the rubber floor mats out and hitting them on the ground a few times.(heavy duty rubber mats, I often wear my work boots in them). After the hand cleaning I set off to head to a local car meet last night, to which I stopped off for fuel and to give wolf a proper wash/shampoo on the jet wash. Car meet was okay, people were looking at my 'Wangan Style' sticker more than the car  Shame I never got the Coilovers on in time, but doing that on Tuesday!
  12. Punto's are great nippy little cars, both I drove were 1.2's. After the MR2(AW11) and Impreza(2.0 Sport) I'd dare say it's the 4th best handling car I've driven spiritedly! (and despite my age, I've driven alot of cars, ranging from 1.0 ford feistas to LWB-High roof Transit's, and Lorrys) Sure the punto sufferers from 'Italian' build issues, but it's a nice car overall!
  13. Nice Grande Punto Milli! :D Much nicer than the type's I've driven (Mk2 A & B), mind having a good look inside & out of them back in 2009. The handling meant to be just as good!
  14. Love how we've got the NSFW tag here. The 'carotica' getting a bit too steamy? ;) BTW, it's been confirmed it's going to happen.
  15. We've all been there. I'm sporting one on the Aerodeck. (got it from a mates brother though)
  16. I'll repeat what I posted on my FB... "I look out the window and see a cat walking past my car, it then stops at the side of my car and looks up at the bonnet. Said cat then proceeds to jump onto the bonnet of my car and walk across it, before jumping onto the roof! Raging at this, I grab a A2 Postal Tube(first thing I found) and run outside, causing the cat to run across the bonnet and jump off and going down the street. All the while this happens, someone walking there dog seen it and burst out laughing I now know what keep's scratching my car, and making me have to buy T-Cut. The game of Wit's starts now my feline friend!" My family don't get on well with cat's, my mum's a gardener(vegetables and such) and they always dig up stuff she's planted and crap everywhere in the garden. And then this has started again with them walking on cars! First world problems, I know.
  17. My guess would be a documentary on the GT Academy? Following the antics of the past few years and currently what the GT academy winners are doing? Maybe in the style of the senna film(using actual clips and such, peoples upbringing, etc) - Edit=- Just saw the source...."action movie" by the producers of '50 shades of gray'? Oh... Expecting somthing like this now... "and he stood there, looking at the seductive lines of the Italian beauty that lay before me. She knew what he was thinking. He walked up to her, gently caressing her side, running my right hand along her left side. The smooth finish of the fresh wax & polish was something he admired, as well as the scent of Mobil 1 and her Pirelli P-Zero Rosso's shoe's...all this made him realize she was a rich, well kept girl. As he was caressing her side, he knew what'd get him inside. Her carefully pulled on the carbon door handle, and slipped his way in. From here, he knew how to push her buttons, and to this he took advantage, as he pressed 'start', he turned her on. She was ready for him now He had her how he wanted, he just had to keep her under control" Er, Maybe not...
  18. It's got them in it yes, but UKTS has the UK in more detail than ETS2. When I get put threw my HGV course's in a years time i'd only be in the UK(actually, I'd only be driving at most within a 20 mile radius of Aberdeen) I'll be trying the demo of it when I get round to downloading it anyway and make my choice from there.
  19. Ah. Just re-downloaded the demo on steam so though i'd ask. I'm actually tempted to get UK Truck Sim instead of ETS2 though. Although would mod it so the trucks have there real names, only MAN are licensed in that.
  20. :bump: If I buy the game on Steam, can I still mod it and such? Or will steam throw a hissy fit?
  21. MAX POWWWWAH! I was at the car auctions, and this glass fiber monstrosity was there. Fully barry spec...cheap 'chrome' alloys, sparkle-metalic paint, stupid vents and worse exhausts! All that was done to the engine was a halfords induction kit. It was a 2.2 though.
  22. Good news: 1) 'Wolf' Never let me down during a 600 mile round trip round the north of Scotland, on some great, challenging roads while carrying a full load of stuff. 2) MeisterR Coilovers for the M style civics's! Took a while to find but found them, and managed to get in on a group buy on the Civic5 fourm(saved myself about £100). Bad news: 1) On said 600 mile trip, i started to hear a squeeking metal sound when turning, turns out a CV boot is ripped....also grease is everywhere inside my NSF wheel and calipers. Cheap enough to fix but cant be bothered doing it. 2) As expected, all the blots and such for my current suspension is rusted to hell...so removing them will involve lots of swearing and a ton of WD40.
  23. Coilovers are on the car now...
  24. Ho yeah! MeisterR 'Zeta-S' Coilovers for the 'M' Style civics. :tipshat: Don't worry, I dont mix the two! :)
