  1. I can't work on such a thing, as every brand in the game is associated to a particular logo... changing logo does not change brand itself, only appearance.

  4. You mean xmb ones ? As well I think volume level is set there, but I haven't really had a look into it. If you are comfortable with hex editors, this task could be for you ;) I'm sorry to be one of the few ones who are able to reverse-engineer binary files :(

  6. Thanks for the idea, but I've been doing this way already :) I don't know how to add showrooms, but it's possible to unlock closed ones. That gives free space ! In fact, I'm working on it with a mate; the biggest issue currently is you can't add new files to TDU's folders as they can't be read. Because of MAP system: Bnk1.map must contain every file identifier in order to accept it. For the moment it does not even accept files for the lost car pack (Diablo, Triumph 995, 350Z Roadster...) Anyway.... if you consider playing onlline (I want all this work tested and safe online), new car identifiers are likely to be blocked by main server.... this server knows how to detect change in some physics as well and make the game disconnect you. Solutions would be : -either patch the EXE file to prevent disconnecting orders and disable MAP control :p -or create an independent server (permitting TDU to survive in the future) with improved code ... I can't make any of those anyway :oook: I will tell you if some things change.
  7. No, dealer feature does not cope with exterior showrooms locations. To be honest I still don't know where the information is stored (maybe in showroom spot's BNK ?).

  9. Did you start the tools as administrator ? Else you can try to modify right from a clean backup of your DB.BNK file.
  10. All right, sorry to have seemed harsh to you. You sure have spent a lot in time and energy to make this and appreciate it. I only wanted to be clear on this point :) Anyway I 've written a mistake in my last post: I meant you deserve, sorry I was fooled by the word :) Now fixed. I'm very interested in working with you for the naming part. As written a few lines ago, I'm totally re-making this matter since new interesting facts are now possible. To say it simply, we can choose which word can be used and where it must go.... thanks to contents of DB.BNK file. So the future is not swapping anymore. See you with private messages ;)

Hi, thanks for your visitor comment - and your english is fine to be understood (btw I'm not English either - who'd like to be anyway ? :p :p :p ) ;) I'm finalizing job on Scuderia Gauges at the moment. Next, I expect to work on gauges for another modder. Then, I can have a look at these M5 Btw, which M5 version ? I will have to be sure it's requested by most of people before spending time on it. That's how the things go ;) But my main concern is the Modding Tools :) Gauges making was just a parallel task for ... fun ? Have a nice day.

  13. Swapped with Ascari, LP560 sound too ... Brand set to Audi ... Fine tuned with transmission selection (AWD). ... Set into newly opened Audi Dealer at north with lil' Audi R8 4.2 ... Tuning packs at European Independents And... OMG :twisted: this car will be a must have. Don't worry, new Modding Tools are coming :) You will be rewarded for your patience, I promise :) And yes, standard cam is not centered without using Cam Swap, but I've already driven for 1 hour and I liked it 'as is'. - dunno why -

You deserve to get +rep for this :) But I would prefer to be asked before someone putting a download link with my files modified (I've read your email, but have no time to process all your code list). Neithertheless, - and I have no doubt your modification has been tested succesfully - I can't figure out how you've managed to fix names whereas code assignment is encrypted in database. Some model and version names are really shared by many vehicles. That's it. As a matter of fact, I won't be able to provide support for people using this updated names.xml. M4v3R1cK will be only responsible with people using his mod. Last thing, Names Editor is just getting obsolete as new discoveries have been done so far. So this wizard will surely disappear/be totally reworked with 1.11.
  16. Hi you're running Vista apparently, and TDU is installed into Program Files folder... Please read FAQ http://syfworld.free.fr/tdu/files/Guide-1.9/ Moreover you should have encountered a warning about this when the program started.
  17. Should be a great match with Ascari, I agree. Anyway, everybody can swap everything to their preferences. And about sound, it could use one of Gallardo's sound mods since it seems to be the same engine.

  21. Yes, but that won't be a swap. I'd like to provide a fine tuning this time. Moreover ride height and wheel size are 2 independent settings; wheel size is related to rim data. Yet I don't know if server accepts that. Testing needed as always. You can expect to get this feature in 2 months at least. --- Edit : interesting thing potentially, modifying ride height in database implies the 3D model not to be raised/lowered in ZModeler. Thus cameras *should* follow interior position without swapping them. Waiting for confirmation >>> great for trucks or SUVs :)
