I decided, despite the lake of FFB and because beside that i really liked the game,to not cancel my preorder of the game (PC), because i was hoping that ATARI would do something about it (FFB, better handling) , for Wheel user! So this news put my hope up on this :)

First thing to do is to set 'environnement details' to low. You should get a good increase in terms of performance. And yeah 2Gb is not enought, maybe on Xp, but not Seven or Vista (beuh!!) I have Q9550 + 4Gb + HD5870 and i can run the game maxed (8xAA) out expect 'environnement details' set to high (maybe i will put medium) , and i get between 40 to 120, 60 most of the time, in 1680x1050. I prefere having less 'environnement details' and more FPS^^ ( and Good AA, maybe 8x is too much, i'll see when i get my game) ;)

This is the first thing i've done before even driving the First car (ferrari). And i couldn't get something good for my G27. I've not canceled my preorder, because i was too late ( ^^ ), but from testing it a little at a "friends house", i must say that i really liked it, but the driving don't feel good at all for my G27. So i hope that there will be a good patch for that, and, i will test your settings Upstairs Chris, we never know... :bunny:

So i tested the game with my G27 (not my game^^) And they were right, the game is good, good graphics and so on, but the driving with the wheel is, hmmm, empty!! There isn't any force feedback! You don't feel the car at all! It's as if we were turning in the air. The Dev should have nothing in there head, common!! Do they even play the game with a wheel?? Damn!! The clutch is useless!! Omagad!! You can start without pressing the clutch !! You can't stoll (caler) by error, because the clutch is useless!!!! The game is not well optimised, i only get about 30 to 120 maxed out with Q9550 + 4gigs + HD5870 on 1680x1050. If we put away the driving, the game is good, but, this is a racing game no? Really really disapointed, its like playing with a keyboard.... :mad: PS: You have option for forcefeedback but why putting FFB options when you actually don't put FFB in the game?? Eden making fun of us? I don't understand really, or this is some kind of bug??

Thanks for feedback, i think i'm gonna cancel my preorder, and buy some real game... Its a shame!

Hello all!! I preordered the game in June 2010. I bought a G27 for Shift 2/3,Dirt 2/3 and TDU2. The dev said in some interview (if i remember well),that the game would be really good to play on with a wheel.But in the Beta, the game feel a lot arcadish, and it seems that its the same on the final game! I love to just cruise, on good cars and motorcycles, i was ok with the Handling of TDU1 with my G27, as long as i have fun, i don't care if its not a simulation,but really, where is the pleasure to play an "completely-arcadish' game with a good wheel? I can, cancel my preorder until Saturday, i rarely buy or pre-buy a game (PC), i only buy good game and i wanted to buy it for online (of course^^) and because i really liked the first one. So now i have a question for those who play with a Wheel (Xbox/PS3/PC) : Do you think I should cancel my preorder so i don't waste money or do you think the game is still worth to buy and play on a wheel,and for online, having the idea that a patch can make the handling a little better? A new Hardcore mod would be really good for people who use a driving wheel,there is no pleasure for them to use there wheel on an arcade game. Semi-simulation is the best deal i think.

Really good! If Eden want to know how Bikes should be in TDU2 (in terms of sensations and speed),they should just go on youtube and see some Speedfreaks Movie or Ghostrider/Turborider^^ Speedfreaks from germany really reminds me of RoadRash! :thumbsup:

Just wait for the game to come,or a demo,don't have to be in a hurry!I was in a hurry for my video-card for another game and i made a mistake and now i want to sell it! (HD5870) :(

I actually have my "Old" 8800gts 320 on a box,but my motherboard don't allow me to put another card,i only have 1 PCIE-1x (4 to be true but the HD5870 is over 3 of them^^) and 2 simple PCI.

(Mafia 2 :drool: ) ,i'm a little pissed of now^^ (Physix,cuda...)

Well,GTA 4 is a hell of a Bad optimised game,so if you can run it maxxed out with a minimum constant 30fps,then TDU2 is a toy for your computer^^ HOAX ==> New drivers can affect the heat but only because it manage the fan better (in speed) or because it runs games better so the card don't need to heat up as before the new driver.Don't know if you understand what i mean^^ Its what i think because a software can't do something on hardware,not directly at least^^ But of course it manage to have a gain on application,games ect... ;)
