  1. Which is not necessary a bad thing....:drool: OK now u can stop ranting...:fuming:
  2. Good to know that! Can't wait for my postman any longer....:wait::toetap: thanks mate
  3. @Kal is HC TDU driving even slightly comparable to Shift no aids driving?
  4. Oh if that's so, I'll change my entry. The perfect car for my wife would be: - very small from outside - huge inside - needs no fuel - need no periodic maintenance - never brakes down - max speed doesn't exceed 40 km/h :leaves:
  5. Then this thread it pointless, I could put ANY car in the world, some girl will love it, for sure. Whatever:wait:....
  6. Remember the most pointless car of 2003 according to TG? http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/all%20my%20cars/ford_fusion-1.jpg I own it and I think they couldn't be more further from the truth. What do ya think?
  7. Yeah I know, but it's his sister's too. I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen driving MiTo, which makes it even a better car for my girl...u know what I mean :D erm... sorry Jazzi ur a coolest girl out there but I simply can't have a perception of u as a typical female... if u don't like MiTo, than it makes it even more suitable for a general women population;)
  8. U all haven't got a first clue about women... The perfect car for anyone's girl is.... http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/MiTo.jpg
  9. Any of these photos taken with everything maxed up? I believe not. @Alpha: have u seen HTF's pics? U still think it's average? :oook: @HTF: What's ur current rig? U seems to get the most of Shift graphics...
  10. Guys UR leavin' me droolin' here ! I'm ready with my new 9800GT card and still waitin' for my copy.... day or two to go....:snack:
  11. LOL here we say 'Neither smells nor stinks' or 'Neither wine nor water' Yeah it's one of the usual comment about Shift. Any comparing of no aids driving in Shift with HC in TDU?
  12. hmmm it's interesting ur recommending two 3 years old games instead something new and all that on the forum dedicated to TDU and other driving games. Of course they are better than Shift, they are both in a hall of fames of driving games, each in their own genre, but considering the fact that nothing came out since GTR Evolution that had a slightest indications of a sim racing we should consider this title as well. From what I've heard so far (still waiting for the envelope in my mailbox) the physics are very far from any kind of sim and it's much closer to Grid. However, there are considerable differences between low class cars and high end cars later in the game. So, if u decide to try Shift, u shouldn't uninstall it straight away if u don't like it from the start. That's only what I've heard from many ppl.....
  13. ^^ ˇˇ oohh I'm so sorry my bad, I was thinking about Underground2 (wasn't that obvious?) Hot pursuit 2 was nice and fun, but still, completely arcadish driving, which I expect to be quite different in Shift. I believe it's much better than TDU and with not a single aid on, could be just how I like it....
  14. As long as 'nice' means great customizing and shiny neon city tracks. But when we're talking about actual driving, no way Jose! :D
  15. Hooray EA u finally did it! U made a decent driving game for a first time since Porsche Unleashed! I knew u can do it, it took almost a decade but u finally did it!:woot::happyroll:
  16. No EABB not developing it, it's developed by 'Slightly Mad Studios", the same guys who worked for Simbin during GTR2 and GT Legends developing, but here, EA is the boss. I doubt there will ever be a real simulation published by EA. Sadly, there's no big money in this genre.
  17. I've pre ordered it nearly a month ago. Something tells me it's gonna be a good racing game with a decent physics. And when I say decent I have something in between arcade/hardcore TDU mode on my mind, nothing spectacular. I highly doubt it gonna be even close to an realistic simulation though. Not from EA anyway. I expect it to be much better spent 30€ than in case of "Fuel" . Such a massive disappointment that was....
  18. right, that was easy for all Americans was it?
  19. Nice photos but one thing's missing and that's you! U supposed to be on a holiday, how can I believe you you were there, in freakin' Leningrad, taking pics of all those young Russian millionaires' cars....:D btw I'm glad that Moscow didn't get all the fun....;)
  20. So guys, where were we? ;)
  21. May I say somethin'? Thanks! Well, I will say that both sides of this debate are wrong and right at the same time. The truth is something in between the arcade and the hard core mode. Sadly I've never driven anything with more than 100BHP so I couldn't tell which is more realistic but I guess any of these two modes are equally unrealistic, just at two opposite sides of un-realism.... the perfect sim mode would contain all the best parts of both modes and then some more. The sim game which got the best driving physics that I know is Richard Burns Rally, both on tarmac and gravel surface. That is naturally my opinion, maybe someone else thinks different. Someone will say that LFS is better on that field, maybe he's right. Anyway, both modes in TDU were made to be FUN, not to be an actual driving simulator. End of story. For some, the arcade mode is more fun, for others is vice versa. It's strictly a matter of oppinion. btw I think both modes got exactly the same braking distance. Try and u'll see I could be right.;)
  22. ok everybody knows American muscle cars like Ford Mustang or Chevy Camaro, but what about this one? http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee39/wroomster/guess%20cars/guess40.jpg Don't u even ask a clue for this, I won't give u any...:cheeky:
  23. In short, no. Servers are down rather often lately, but u can eventually log in from time to time. So they are not permanently off. There's no way to make TDU work only on LAN, sorry. wtf!!: server too busy, please try again later....wtf? stop letting new guys in, it's gettin' crowdy round here :oook:
  24. Is anybody here absolutely sure that he will be alive tomorrow? Well, actually no one, but everybody counts on it.;)
  25. Nope, the cost should be the same, mounting of wheel is free I believe....
