i use windows movie maker to create the videos i use the 3.0mbps setting for 4:3 ratio for viewing but i record the original file from tdu at 50fps

your CPU Multiplier core 2s and core 2 quads usually have a maximum of 9 the new core i7s have high multipliers due to the fact the base bus speed is a lot lower than that of a core 2 for example my cpu has a multiplier of 8.5 and a bus speed of 472mhz yours has a multiplier of 21 and a bus speed 161mhz. so 21 x 161 = 3381. and mine 8.5 x 472 = 4012

Overlockers Guide For Beginners i dont think its easy tune i think its more to do with the power management software that comes with your system and the only way i know to stop the throttling back is to et your multi to default spec

i use core temp. and if the max was 71.4C the system would shut down when reaching that temperature and as you can see when you look at the figures on my screenshot its over 71.4 and isnt throttling back or shutting off. ive seen scan systems with water cooling overclocked to within an inch of their life running at 96.4C and running fine. 71.4C is a guideline for intel recommended maximum temperature at full load. CPU's are coded with an automatic shutdown at their maximum temperature. If You Look in your bios for CPU multiplier and set it to the top value it should stop the downclocking and can make overclocks more stable.
