finally installed the winter mod and the names work now, as i thought, but i got other problems, but they don't relate to this thread so :dontcare:

because the road is normal and not snowy btw when i installed the snowy normal files, went in to tdu and its exactly the same, just normal road, apart from the cracks and manholes are white, ive replaced all the files in the list on the first post, whats up now????

ah, well i DO drive with names on, since i cruise with friends alot so i need to know who's who :rolleyes: might have to find that mist and fog mod instead :/ shame really, because this mod looks really good apart from the map and names, well done mate :)

i found it quite easy actually :cheeky: as long as the name you're changing isn't used by another car you should be fine as far as i can see, i changed the Merc SLK55 to a "BMW 120i" in modding tools like you normally would, then i just changed 120 to 135 (to match Tool's mod) -when you click on the name editor tab for e.g. the SLK, mercedes, slk55 and amg come up -but when i click on the name editor tab for the GTO, the nissan came up as i said :confused: so i wanna know what went wrong... e: how about some images, first one is normal, second one is the SLK i changed, 3rd is the GTO
