  1. Wheels it is then. No matter how nice looking or how powerful is the vehicle... If it has no wheels, it's useless.
  2. Has a Mustang, sells a pretty decent Miata, gets a decent Mini, buys another Miata that probably needs lots of work. :umm:
  3. Well, Mike, the active aero adds some kilos and that's the last thing you want to do with these cars, but of course I know what you mean and definitely would never put that wing on a standard Cayman. It's like the SportDesign rear wing on the 997-gen 911. Too much F&F/trackdaybrostuff for a street car. Porsche def nailed it with the GT4. The chassis of this generation is magnificent and with GT3 components, aero and 991 powertrain it is going to be a hell of a ride. And no, I'm not a fan boy. :para:
  4. I think today is a good day, because there's another car for enthusiasts that has just been revealed: Porsche Cayman GT4: Stats: Carrera S engine GT3 suspension components Le manuél transmission only 4.4 secs 183 mph 7:40 Ring time Porsche Cayman GT4 preview - specifications, pictures, pricing and more | Evo Well done, Porsche, well done.
  5. Agreed on everything. Watched it in the morning while eating my breakfast. :mcoffee: I actually skipped the SIARPC as almost always. Other than that, it was really good and fun to watch. Better than the South America special, felt less scripted, more about cars and all that stuff TG had been missing previously IMHO. They should air part two.
  6. I love both type of noise, but the induction noise coming from some of the best NA engines... Damn, I'm going to miss it.
  7. The Focus would look even better with wider arches, but still, finally a nice Mk3 Focus... Glad they kept the Mk2 diffuser and exhaust, too. As for AWD, well, I'm glad it's got it as it'd be struggling with putting that power to ground although there were more powerful hot-hatches in the past. Of course, five cylinders is five cylinders and nothing beats that engine in the sound department. Hopefully Ken Block has helped Ford with tuning the AWD system to be a little bit more oversteer-y. Ferrari has done a great job on the design. I love the rear end how it's clean. Didn't like the 458 Italia much, it was kinda meh in my eyes, but then came the Speciale which was miles better and this new one is, like, even more miles better. I guess it's time say goodbye to good old naturally aspirated engines.
  8. I'd have to turn on my brain to think of some threads from the past, but one I remember even now - it's the TDU:Central goes to Atari/Eden/whatever to play TDU2 thread. There was a Domino's Pizza covering a mystery car that we were guessing what it was. It was actually a GT-R. Also I vaguely remember a photo from a train station or something like that.
  9. I feel young, I don't know them. Though I remember guys like IcedBulledCheese and such from that era. Where have they gone? :mhmm:
  10. You must have been really drunk if you don't remember what you were saying in the CB recently. :hmmm:
  11. Yup and I don't think they're gonna do much about the rest of the map which hasn't been changed at all since ETS1 days IIRC. Those frigging Autobahn lanes that suddenly change to ramp are driving me crazy.
  12. No, it's not great because I'm now 18. I miss the old days when I was a new, 14 years old member. However, congrats guys. Still a great place to be a part of despite some things.
  13. Looking real good. Fired up the game after three months and found out I've forgotten how to park the rigs.
  14. The title is clear. Why enter this with a spiced up 911 or a Cayman. Also, Diablo & Wikipedia say that 00's means years from 2000 to 2009 - therefore the RUF RGT-8 does not fit the set theme as it was introduced in 2010 if I recall correctly.
  15. Isn't that a 405 basically? You should make it look like the infamous Marseille's Taxi.
  16. I've never found F1 cars to be "aesthetically pleasing". Not even from the 60's or 70's. :hmmm:
