  1. Straight from Pauls mouth, they are in the final stages of development for the PS+ version of DRIVECLUB featuring 10 cars and 5 tracks. [media=twitter]608593445100380160[/media] This ought to bring more people into the game that should buy the full version. Evolution Studios really do deserve it they've made a cracking game.
  2. [headline]DRIVECLUB RPM Expansion Pack[/headline] The out-and-out godly decision making of Evolution continues as they show off the next pack that will be coming to DRIVECLUB, the RPM Expansion Pack. We only have a small preview video but with it comes a glorious look at the first car to be included, the Nissan GT-R. The car many a youngster and Fast and Furious loving muppet has a crisis over, due to it's speed, handling and price making it a prime choice for respect amongst car fanatics. The pack will be out later in June and will have 5 cars, 11 events and 5 trophies for you to collect. [subhead]DRIVECLUB - Nissan GT-R Preview Video[/subhead]

The only new features are a photomode gallery to see other players pictures, increased level cap to 55 and the ability to toggle the HUD in a race without having to pause it. The DLC pack contains 2 new tours as usual and the following cars: Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Lamborghini Reventón Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 Super Veloce Lamborghini Diablo Super Veloce  DS Survolt *free* Readage
  4. [headline]DriveClub April Updates and DLC[/headline] It's that time of the year again folks, April! Which means it's time for another DriveClub update and round of yummy looking DLC. The update brings the Ferrari the Ferrari along with multiplayer replays, a new free tour and the ability to choose which audio recordings to use (internal or external) amongst many many other things. 5. [headline]DriveClub 1.12 has landed![/headline] Prepare for a TL;DR! The things I'm most looking forward to are being able to set the AI cars to use factory paint instead of liveries, replay mode/heathaze for better pics and the Lambo pack coming out next week. :) It's been pleasantly surprising how much Evolution Studios have been supporting Driveclub and it doesn't show any sign of stopping just yet. Also, off-road buggies! Sauseage
  6. Thanks to Soundwave for posting this in the Chatbox... Sadly none of the older ones seem to be in the pack, but it's welcome none the less! :)

  8. [headline]DRIVECLUB - Weather Update OUT NOW![/headline] DRIVECLUB wasn't kidding when they said that weather would come to the game shortly after release, as of today's update dynamic weather is now included in the game for both offline and online play. If you've seen the media of this then you know that the tech behind this is truly astonishing and will add an even greater challenge to the already testing nature of the racing due to lack of grip and visibility. The game may have suffered some catastrophic issues and yes there are still some gremlins lurking about but it's getting there and for those of you players who loved PGR3 and 4, this game is often mentioned as being an evolution of that. [subhead]DRIVECLUB - 1.08 Update Details[/subhead] You can download the new game update (1.08) now! It's a big one, bringing dynamic weather, 2 new tracks and lots more improvements based on your feedback. Here's the full details of Game Update 1.08 (which weighs in at 1.4GB): New Features: * Adds weather to the game, for online and offline play. * Adds two new tracks, both including reverse variants: Atlanterhavsvegen in Norway and Sinclair Pass in Canada. Improvements: * Adds the option to configure Throttle/Brake controls onto Up/Down on Right Stick. * Adds the ability to access Club Cars when offline. * Adds the ability to access Club Paint Jobs when offline. * Adds track maps and stats to each track card in Single Event. * Adds player statistics to various panels within Single Event and Challenges. * Includes more minor bug fixes, performance improvements and usability tweaks. Add-ons (coming later in December): * Adds support for the Mazzanti Evantra, coming to PlayStation®Store as a free download later in December. * Adds support for the Redline Expansion Pack, coming to PlayStation®Store as a premium download later in December. This Expansion Pack includes the Redline Car Pack and Redline Tour Pack. * The Redline Car Pack includes 5 new cars: Mercedes SLS AMG E-Drive, McLaren F1 LM, Renault Alpine A110-50, Ferrari 458 Speciale, and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. * The Redline Tour Pack includes 11 new Events and 5 new Trophies. * Adds support for the Elements Tour Pack, coming to PlayStation®Store as a premium download later in December. * The Elements Tour Pack includes 11 new Events and 5 new Trophies. There's more to come in the next game update, so please keep sharing your feedback about DRIVECLUB with us to help the game continue to evolve around you. Sauce: DRIVECLUB facebook
  9. The official Driveclub facebook page posted today that they're going to offer free DLC's for those who bought the full game. Check out their post! Sauce: Driveclub Official Facebook Page
  10. According to a post just made on the gameinformer website DRIVECLUB's severe problems are due to the games' coding rather than a lack of servers or such. The game has been QA'd and also had a number of Betas so how did this issue - if true - manage to creep through into the final release will no doubt be one of the questions that will be asked. 11. [headline]DRIVECLUB PS Plus Edition Postponed[/headline] President of Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida has posted a message on the official DRIVECLUB facebook informing that the PS Plus Edition of the game will be postponed until they are certain they can guarantee the proper support for its release. It's a shame as this pours even more bad feeling towards Evolution Studios who to be honest are incredible at what they do but something always seems to spoil their achievements. So if you were waiting for the free PS Plus Edition to try this game and see if it the full upgrade was worth going for then unfortunately you'll just have to wait until it gets the greenlight. With the recent issues Sony's PSN has been suffering something has to be done and their infrastructure needs a massive boost in order not to only accommodate the NOW but also the upcoming BIG launches of the next Call of Duty and the PS4 version of GTA V. Then you have the mass of new players who will be switching on at Christmas and the other festivities. Going to be an interesting and important couple of months for Sony that's for sure.
  12. DRIVECLUB is releasing in not too long and the PS4 exclusive which was due to launch last year at the same time as the console has used that extra time extremely well. Showing off incredible visuals and the weather effects that will come later to via an update the trailer shows all out racing action and truly is one of the best looking not just in visuals but also in details; the lights at night, the cockpit instruments and those glowing brake-discs are just a joy to behold.
  13. Time for some newzzz and you can clearly tell that it's not long nor multi-kulti. Except the Hennessey Venom GT, which is, ummm, just a faster Lotus :p, it's got only Europe vehicles. And no Lamborghini, sadly, but the rest isn't bad at all! DLCs are coming obviously (one single car takes them 9 months to create, btw) Alfa Romeo 4C Aston Martin One-77 Aston Martin V12 Vantage S Aston Martin Vanquish Aston Martin V12 Zagato Ariel Atom 500 V8 Audi A1 quattro Audi R8 V10 Plus Audi RS 5 Audi RS 6 Avant C6 Audi TT RS Plus BAC Mono Bentley Continental GT Speed Bentley Continental GT V8 BMW M135i BMW M235i BMW M3 GTS BMW M5 F10 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Ferrari 458 Italia Ferrari 599 GTO Ferrari California Ferrari F12berlinetta Ferrari FF Gumpert Apollo Enraged Hennesey Venom GT Koenigsegg Agera R Lotus Evora Sports Racer Lotus Exige S Marussia B2 Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale McLaren 12C McLaren P1 Mercedes-AMG GT Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG Mercedes-Benz C 63 AMG Coupe Black Series Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG 45th Anniversary Edition Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Coupe Black Series Mini John Cooper Works GP Pagani Huayra Pagani Zonda R Renault Clio RS RUF CTR3 Clubsport RUF RGT 8 RUF RT12 R Savage Rivale GTR-S Spania GTA GTA Spano Spyker C8 Aileron Volkswagen Golf GTI Volkswagen Beetle GSR 10 of these will be available in the free-to-play PlayStation Plus Edition: Mini John Cooper Works GP Volkswagen Golf GTI Bentley Continental GT Speed Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG BMW M3 GTS Maserati Gran Turismo MC Stradale Pagani Zonda R RUF CTR3 Clubsport Sauce: Veni Vidi Vici - DriveClub's full car list revealed, 50 cars at launch and 10 available for PS Plus
  14. Racers of the upcoming PS4 exclusive racer DRIVECLUB will be able to sample the delights of the newest GT car to come from Mercedes-Benz in the form of the AMG-GT, before it's even in the hands and feet of real-world owners. The car which was only officially unveiled a couple of days ago will be provided as a free download shortly after the games' release in October. To go with the release, Mercedes-Benz are running a DRIVECLUB themed competition at journeyofstars.com - pick a car, create a club, invite friends, do challenges and scale the leaderboards. Prizes include a PS4 console with DRIVECLUB game. Via PlayStation.Blog
  15. Much the same nice graphics and drifting shots with the ponderous question "How fast do you want to go?" like all the other trailers. So, um, how fast DO you actually want to go?
  16. DRIVECLUB has been slated by some for its delay when it was originally set as a PS4 Launch title, but those of us who know what Evolution Studios (WRC, Motorstorm) are capable of know that any extra time these guys get is going to only result in something even more impressive than before. And none ever more is this shown than in this amazing first look from the PlayStation.Blog about the dynamic weather system coming to the game shortly after its release. Click HERE now to view the videos!!! http://turboduck.net/img/games/2014/driveclub/driveclub-firstlook-dynamic-weather.jpg[/img] If you don't know the developers behind this game are crazy on detail and not just on the cars, the world is bathed in dynamic real-world lighting with true night and day sequences that dynamically change meaning not one day of racing will likely be the same especially when you factor in when this weather update hits. Also announced today was a PS4 DRIVECLUB hardware bundle which should be available to pre-order from your favourite online or bricks-and-mortar retailer. No wheel included in the bundle unfortunately but you do get a snazzy front cover for the console box showing that it is a DRIVECLUB version. Thanks - PlayStation.Blog EU
  17. [headline]DRIVECLUB @ E3 - Club Foot to the Floor[/headline] A new trailer for the PS4 exclusive from Evolution Studios hits as the E3 main show starts and it is showing off some sexy visuals and metal. Personally I cannot wait to see new footage of this game from the show-floor and hope it plays as well as it looks! I envy all of you with a PS4. [subhead]Latest Media:[/subhead] * * Gamersyde's capture of some DRIVECLUB in action * * *
  18. DRIVECLUB just released a new article regarding their strive to have the BEST sounds in a racing game.. EVER. From the article: “We used upwards of 16 mics in each car, and in some cases a lot more – 26, even 27 in one of them” “BMW and Mercedes actually called us up and asked if we’d be happy to give them a copy of our recordings to replace their own versions,” says Alan with a grin. “That felt pretty good!” Discuss. (Personally, I listened to the real 458 recording at the end of the article and the game recording, that's really damn close.)
  19. IGN got a nice exclusive yesterday with these two gameplay videos but unfortunately in typical IGN fashion they are compressed really badly and then throw on youtube compression and you get a less than glamorous look. Despite that though, what is clear is how great this game looks in the lighting department and we also get a nice impression of the sounds we can expect, some sound a bit off imo in that the collisions sound a bit more like plastic hitting together. One tiny thing I like is the way the clock in the Maserati seems to be working and that transition from night to day is surely one of the best examples seen in a game, and not every change will be the same as the clouds and such are dynamic in their generation I believe. Whether that means it's more a technical achievement rather than a game will remain to be seen. 21. [headline]DRIVECLUB COMING OCTOBER 7th - 10th[/headline] DRIVECLUB is actually coming! No it's true, Sony have released a brand new trailer showing off some truly gorgeous visuals of the cars along with some rather glorious ambient features including a rather sublime Aurora moment. The PS4 launch title coming only 11 months later than planned (:D) will still feature a slightly-trimmed down PS Plus version and damn are we hoping that it has indeed been worth this wait. Post #20: Gameplay video
