Got this idea after the (rather disastrous) Nurburgring Track Day of the FM4 Playtimes and decided I could combine it with the regular events and create something at least decent with it and on a different schedule for people who can't make it. General formatting stuff is stolen from Santtu (Playtime #1 thread), sorry if this is an issue but I'm crap at formatting posts and will happily re-make the post if that is an issue. So right, here goes... TDUCk FM4 Track Day(s) *Basically playtime but on Saturday nights for people who can't make the FM4 Playtime *Kicking things off is a cruise around some track that will be decided by host or suggested *After initial event we will do a cruise then will play whatever people want to apart from serious drifting (sorry flo :p) *Preliminary timing is 8PM GMT on Saturday, if this time is an issue please say so in the comments Rules Track Days: *Don't be an arse. *Theme/budget rules will be interpreted (around 20PP/$5000 over will be max) *The week's host is allowed to kick people at their own discretion, as long as a majority of the lobby agrees and it can be justified Cruise: *There's a speed limit of 80kph, which is about 50mph *The speed limit MUST be obeyed (Except on places where it's hard to resist, eg the Fujimi downhill stretch) *If the track has any areas to stop and do photos (Fujimi waterfall for instance), the line-up is reversed when leaving the area *Try to keep it clean *Overtaking is allowed, AS LONG AS YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE! Do NOT overtake if you're not 100% sure you'll make it through clean Soccer: *There's 2 teams, red and blue. You can change your team by pressing A on your name and choosing "change player team" *If the sides seem to be unbalanced, try to balance them out. Vote for the picture you think looks the best, and also best fulfills the theme- try not to let a car or person cloud your judgement when it comes to voting. If the same person wins a second time in a row, the person that picks the next theme will be the runner up. In the case of a tie, the runner up picks the winner (the 2 tied entrants are both considered first place, therefore, the runner up is the person with the next highest amount of votes). Hey guys sorry for the delay, flo, hassan and I (to my knowledge) have decided upon a theme I suggested. This week, you will be required to take your best landscape shot. Homespace/autovista are not allowed. I dont mean the orientation, I mean a picture of the beautiful scenery that makes up the world of Forza. The car is not the point of interest here, although you can have cars/a car in your photo, just make sure the interesting point of the picture is the scenery (be it the mountain ranges of Camino Viejo De Montserrat, the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca, the twists and turns and beautiful forestry of Fujimi Kaido, whatever you like really, as long as you show off the world, not a car). I urge you to be creative with this theme, go outside the box and get some stunning pictures! And when voting, dont let your love for a car get in the way of voting for a better picture that fits the theme... Photoshop has been banned altogether, apart from resizing if needed. No removing watermarks, no contrast adjustments, nothing. The picture you submit must be your own work. If you do submit a photo, you must vote for someone when the voting segment of the competition opens. We're BACK. Season 3 sign up is RIGHT here. The rules have changed to make it more fun and to try and increase activity! Read carefully! Rules: 1. This is teammate racing, teams will be chosen at random before the season begins, I think it would also be cool if we all had team names, so please come up with one after teams are drawn so we can have the standings set up according to team name. 2. We will do 1 race a weekend, race will take place at 1PM GMT Sunday. 3. CAR REGULATIONS: The goal is to build an S-700 DTM-style race car. You must buy one of the cars on the list below, and tune it up to that limit. The race each week will be roughly around 20-30 minutes. Racing tires must be on your car as well as a full racing roll cage. 4. Tuning is allowed, and more than welcomed. You will have to tune to stay competitive in this competition! 5. Points will be awarded according to finishing position, and how many people join up. An example is below. If 10 people race, the winner will recieve 10 points, 2nd will recieve 9, 3rd - 8, and so on - until the person in last has 1 point. 6. You MUST have a team colour scheme, the liveries may be different, but you have to run mostly the same colours - Front splitter and a wing are necessary so it looks like a real race car. 7. Everyone is required to make 1 pitstop (your car MUST come to a halt during pitting, no speeding through the pits!) 8. The car MUST be AWD. 9. Only sign up if you are very interested, your teammate will be relying on you to show up every week so you have a chance of winning the season. 10. Rough racing/cheating (such as intentional wrecking or spinning) will result in points removal, and banning from races. I hope you are as interested in this as I am! Hello everybody! Pr0ph3cy and I being as close as we are decided to have a united thread for our group photoshoots, and our car reviews! This will provide a singular location for all of our combined efforts, whilst still maintaining our own separate threads for when we aren't playing Forza together.(which will be about 10% of the time *insert laughter here*) If you'd like a car to be reviewed by us, feel free to leave suggestions below - we'll comprise a list, and review the cars as quickly and as thoroughly as we can. If you'd like to see certain cars in a photoshoot, feel free to do the same, and we shall get on it as soon as we can! Hey guys, sorry its up so late, been very busy so far this week. Last weeks photoshop issue is regrettable and something i'd like us all to put behind us. Lets have fair entries, but also, lets accept the fact that photoshopping is allowed. The sorts of things I will not allow through use of photoshop is adding/removing elements of the photo (buildings, cars, trees, turns, etc etc etc) (do not get that confused with removing the watermark, you are allowed to remove the watermark). Week 14 was won by giP, and his theme for this week is Blue. You are allowed to use autovista/homespace, as well as racetracks. He has allowed basic photoshop editing such as colour adjustments, contrast/brightness adjustments. Entries will close on the 18th of February 2012, at approx 11:59pm Australian Eastern Standard time. Voting will commence shortly thereafter, and will be open for 24 hours. You must get your entry in before the cut off, as i've given you warning of this, I will not be leniant beyond a minute or 2 late. Lets have a great competition :D

Taking a reasonably priced car around the Top Gear Test Track (Full Circuit) as fast as possible. *Everyone has to have the same car performance-wise. No upgrades allowed. If we get a TDUCk car club up and running later on, we might be able to use upgraded cars from the club garage aswell. (This would make it required to join the club, which everyone doesn't probably want so that's one idea buried) *Rolling starts are allowed. Standing starts are too inaccurate, though there's nothing wrong with you doing one, if you wish. *You can do as many laps as you wish. *NO DRIVING AIDS except for automatic transmission AND ABS if you wish. *CLEAN LAPS ONLY! Well here's a little something for those that are looking for something to do :D Here are the rules: 1. Times must be recorded on the FULL Tsukuba circuit track. 2. There are 7 different classes: C, B, A, S, R3 and R2. Aswell as a special FWD D class (rules for this class below) 3. The person may use any car, with any modifications, within one of those classes to achieve the fastest clean lap they possibly can for their chosen class. 4. Extremely fast laps require a screen shot or photo to verify the time. 5. Tell which car you used for the lap. FWD D class: Only cars that were FWD from factory and remain FWD can be used. Have fun! What the name says really! So Day and night? Lets set up a Tips and Critique thread. Here, you can post tips to help get a better photo, aswell as ask for critique on photo's. I'll set it off with a few tips... 1: Composition. Even though a centered subject is probally best, don't be scared to move around and experiment with odd positioning. 2: Colour & Contrast. Adjusting the Colour and Contrast sliders can work wonders for an image. Add more Contrast give the blacks a bigger punch, while adjusting the colour can give the effect of a dim cloudy day. 3: Sepia Tone. I personally add a few notches of Sepia into my images, no more tha 10 on the slider. I feel it gives an image a bit more warmth to an otherwise "clinical" image. That's all mine for now. Maybe this could be stickied for quick reference?
