  1. For the next two weeks, head over to the Microsoft Store and you'll find 50% off the Ultimate Edition of Forza Horizon 4. Purchasing the game digitally from the Microsoft Store allows you to play the game both on Xbox 1 and a Windows 10 PC. Cross-play is enabled for both platforms, although Xbox 1 owners need LIVE Gold for online multiplayer while PC (Master Race) players do not. The Ultimate Edition includes free DLC car packs, some free in-game houses (saving millions of in-game currency), 2 expansion packs (Fortune Island w/ crazy weather and Lego Masters which reviewed less favourably). You may also win more money for races with the included VIP bonus. A new Top Gear themed update recently was added for free for all versions of the game, so if you're interested now is the perfect time to grab the game, especially as there are no new Forza games due for release this year - a first for a long time. Forza Motorsport 7 development recently ceased with primary focus now shifted to its successor.
  2. This year marks the first where we will not see a new version of Forza Motorsport release on its usual 2-year cycle. This mostly has been due to the longer-than-normal duration of product support and enhancement. It was only recently announced that development had just switched from enhancing FM7 to a new title. In the meantime, what new Forza experiences can fans enjoy? A second map DLC for Forza Horizon 4 shouldn't be too far away, but if you're a fan of gaming on the street, then Forza may have just the thing for you. Announcing Forza Street Available for PC, Android and IOS, Forza Street appears to be a rebranded version of the existing game Miami Street , but will be available as a free-to-play title later this year. Watch the trailer below to learn more. It is also possible to find footage of Miami Street on YouTube Do you play mobile racing games? Are you interested in trying out this title? Let us know in the comments below.
  3. It's (almost) that time of the year again folks. E3 Games Expo 2018 begins with conferences starting on Saturday, June 9th, then opens to the public on Tuesday, June 12th. Here's what we've got to look forward to: Saturday 9th June Electronic Arts [11am PT | 2pm ET | 7pm BST] Kicking off E3 with the EA conference, we can expect to see the latest instalment of their EA Sports franchises such as FIFA, Madden, NHL, etc, as well as a new , and the addition of some new IPs such as Anthem from BioWare. Sunday 10th June Microsoft [1pm PT | 4pm ET | 9pm BST] Next up we have the Microsoft conference, which will be held next door to E3 because it's damn popular to fit in the LA Convention Center.. seriously. We can expect, as usual, a new Forza announced, Halo, Gears of War, and possibly a return of the Fable franchise if the rumours are true. Bethesda [6:30pm PT | 9:30pm ET | 2:30am BST] It looks like we can expect to see a new AAA title from Bethesda, a return of Elder Scrolls or more likely an expansion for Elder Scrolls Online, and some new DLC content for existing games. Oh.. and a NEW FALLOUT Monday 11th June Square Enix [10am PT | 1pm ET | 6pm BST] After the rousing success of Tomb Raider, it looks like we'll be getting a preview of the sequel, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Final Fantasy fans can also look forward to seeing the remade FF7. Ubisoft [1pm PT | 4pm ET | 9pm BST] Ubisoft will continue to kick a dead horse build upon its legacy with additions to their long running franchises Assasin's Creed and Tom Clancy (The Division 2) and returning Beyond Good & Evil which is almost as old as I am. Maybe some more footage of The Crew 2? Sony [6pm PT | 9pm ET | 2am BST] Don't expect to see the PlayStation 5 just yet, the PS4 has got a few years left in it yet, but there will be plenty to look forward to such as Marvel's Spiderman and The Last of Us Part 2. Tuesday 12th June Nintendo [9am PT | 12pm ET | 5pm BST] Finishing off the conferences will be Nintedo's video presentation highlighting the upcoming Smash Bros for the Switch and a few other titles coming to the Switch such as Pokemon (we hope), new Kirby and Yoshi games, and perhaps a new Animal Crossing. 5. Forza 7 January Car Pack The first Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pack for 2018 has been a closely-guarded secret (for some reason) but thanks to eagle-eyed observers we look to now know what it will have. Following on from the official announcement of the two free Hyundai from yesterday, the next car pack for FM7, apparently called the ‘Totino’s Car Pack’, follows the usual flavour of including seven cars and this latest batch is another that are ‘new to Forza’. Whether that is exciting or not for you will depend on how you react to the cars themselves. Speaking of which, that info is now showing on the Microsoft Store, and taking pride of place in its main image is the Lotus Elise GT1. Now if memory serves me correctly, this was in the early Gran Turismo games (sorry to bring GT up) and is an exceptional handling car, however it still requires to be treated with care and respect when driven to the limit. [gallery link=file" size="small-post-image" columns="2" ids="7634,7635,7636,7637] From the list below you can see that there is yet again a mixture on offer, with close to half of the pack being taken up by late-60s era models from Nissan, VW and Subaru, along with a novelty throw in of the iconic Citroen 2CV. The latter of which just might surprise you with how fun it is stock, or alternatively go all out and see how ludicrous you can make it through performance tuning. Forza Motorsport 7: 'Totino's Car Pack' 2017 BMW #24 BMW Team RLL M6 GTLM 1997 Lotus Elise GT1 1993 Porsche 911 Turbo S Leichtbau 1970 Citroen 2CV 1968 Subaru 360 1967 Volkswagen Type 3 1600 L 1967 Nissan R380 II When you look at the contents, it might not seem too special, maybe even a bit disappointing, but that R380 is no snail, the Porsche (964) can help you become a Bad Boy (or Girl), and the BMW M6 will tickle anyone who enjoys their GT racing. [caption id=attachment_7633" align="aligncenter" width="800] UNLEASH THE BEAST!![/caption] Hopefully it shouldn't be too long before the switch is flicked and the official announcement and media is unleashed! It's OUT NOW! The Forza Motorsport 7 ‘Totino’s Car Pack’ will be available for Xbox One and PC as an included part of the ‘Car Season Pass’ or as a standalone purchase from the relevant stores. UPDATE #1: 16/1/18 16:23 PM GMT - Official trailer and images added
  6. Grab Some Doritos, Let The Old Times Roll! December’s Car Pack for Forza Motorsport 7 has been revealed and it’s set to give players a blast from the past, containing a selection of vintage and classics making up most of the list. The ‘Doritos Car Pack’ sports seven new-to-Forza vehicles and has a strong focus on those from years before, including the oldest car to ever be featured in the Forza series at over 90 years old, and covers the largest passage of time between ye old and da new. Strangely, the trailer, as clever and creative as it is, only shows five of those found in the pack. The others are mentioned in the info below the video and in the announcement over at the official site, which is a shame as the classic BMW from the late 30s and striking 60s Porsche race car would have been great to see in action. Forza Motorsport 7: Doritos Car Pack 1926 Bugatti Type 35 1939 BMW 328 1955 Chevrolet 150 Utility Sedan 1962 Porsche 804 1985 Nissan Safari 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo Just like the Samsung QLED Car Pack, released last month and the first pack to be released for Forza 7, another litter of off-roaders is found in the mix and is again stirring up some unrest amongst fans. With again the opinion being that these would be more fitting in the Horizon games (I agree), however, it is also starting to stir up thoughts of a possible off-roading/rally expansion perhaps being on the horizon (hehe). [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="7496,7497,7499,7500,7501] The Forza Motorsport 7 Doritos Car Pack is available now to purchase and download on Xbox One and PC, at either a standalone price, or as part of the Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass. 7. Forza Motorsport 7 Samsung QLED Car Pack The first monthly car pack for Forza Motorsport 7 has been unveiled, featuring a bevy of new-to-Forza vehicles. Pairing up with Samsung, who are in bed with Microsoft for the promotion of their 4K TVs aside the Xbox One X, the opening DLC which will release on November 7th, delivers a generous helping of the road-going and historic racing variety, accompanied by – in my opinion – a side plate of WTH! Starting with those that you would find on the road and wouldn’t mind throwing about a track is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Abarth 124 Spider. Both aimed at completely different areas but each providing their own fantastic experiences for whomever is driving. Racing stalwarts have a bit of choice to make in regards to the heritage they decide between next, with a Maserati 250F, Porsche 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’ and a Nissan Bluebird Super Silhouette all included, and ready to show those looking for a taste of the genuine article, just how vicious and intimidating, they were. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="7415,7417,7416] Forza Motorsport 7 – Samsung QLED Car Pack 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2017 Abarth 124 Spider 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37 2015 Honda Ridgeline Baja Trophy Truck 1984 Nissan #20 Coca-Cola Bluebird Super Silhouette 1978 Porsche #78 MOMO 935/78 1957 Maserati 250F Lastly, there are two monster off-roaders. Yeah, I’m not sure why either, but the trailer promotes some manufactured fun that can be had with them through the exploring of off-track sections on some circuits, and perhaps racing them together will produce some interesting moments also. In a title like Forza 7 though, they just seem that bit out of place. No doubt they will prove a hit in the other ‘fun’ modes, so maybe that warrants their inclusion after all. The Samsung QLED Car Pack will be available on Xbox One and PC at a standalone price or as a part of the Car Pass from November 7th. [via Forzamotorsport.net]
  8. Turn 10 Apologise For Forza 7 VIP Nonsense It hasn’t even been a week since Forza Motorsport 7 Ultimate Edition owners got their early access to the game they had eagerly been waiting for, only to discover that VIP had some changes to it compared to previous releases, and although loyal, they are not stupid, letting their disappointment and frustration be known. So much so, that Turn 10 have heard them, responded and are promising changes. In a letter posted on the official site from Studio Head, Alan Hartman titled ‘A Letter to the Forza Communty’, Hartman tells that they have heard “loud and clear” from Ultimate owners and have immediately updated the VIP description shown in the Windows Store to alleviate any further confusion. (sorry you’re too stupid to read what we meant folks??) Since Forza Motorsport 7 launched into early access last week, everyone here at Turn 10 has been keeping a close eye on our players’ feedback. The most important thing to us is to maintain open communication with the Forza Community. We’ve heard what you have had to say and, starting today, you can expect some significant changes. I demand to be treated like a VIP! Don’t worry that’s not it. As from today VIPs will start to be treated like the ‘upstanding spenders of more money’ that they are and will receive more value for their membership, beginning with the gifting of FOUR extra 'Forza Edition' cars. Going forward, we will continue to ensure that Forza Motorsport 7 VIPs receive the most value for their VIP membership, including new experiences and great content. Starting today we’re sending all Forza Motorsport 7 VIPs four additional Forza Edition cars: 2016 Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7 Forza Edition 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Forza Edition 2017 Acura NSX Forza Edition 2010 Maserati Gran Turismo S Forza Edition All of these cars are 'Tier 5 Legendary' and come with their own perks. On top of this, a cool 1 million credits will be deposited into their accounts too. Bringing back and keeping the 2x credit bonus A main criticism of the changes was the consumable nature of the 2x bonus given to credits that was implemented. What this means is that the 2x multiplier could be used up after a set amount of races was completed, and in these days of targeting directly to the ‘whales’ (those who spend real money to progress/buy shiny things) this was seen as a slap in the face to those who paid for the top version, expecting at least the same perks of those that were provided before. Well that is being made good too, and will revert to the permanent classic 2x credit bonus system with a future update that is currently being worked on. Who knew that if you tried to fleece your loyal fans that it could come back to bite you? Oh wait, Turn 10 did! As the same thing kind of happened with Forza 5 back on the original launch with the Xbox One. Players told them then that misinformation and having the game gently nudge them towards microtransactions was not good and so the lesson learned back then, has been erm… learned again? Ahem, what about PC? Amazingly the PC has lots of reports of suffering the same issues that happened on the release of Forza Horizon 3. Over time they have managed to deal with a lot of those issues and the game is being enjoyed immensely by many on PC, so how on earth did Forza 7 manage to have a botched start and not the fairly smooth experience that the Playground Games title now has? Sadly, it's become all too common for this too happen and naturally Turn 10 are investigating and addressing the issues that get reported. That said, we are aware of stability and performance issues that some PC players are facing. The team is working around the clock to report, investigate, and resolve these issues as quickly as possible. In fact, our first update for the game went live yesterday, addressing several PC stability and performance issues. The quality of the PC experience will continue to be a top priority. So for now it’s just wait and see. At least they're working on it, it just means that if you are having issues then you either wait and see if your problem receives a fix, or return to sender. Nobody denies that making a game is difficult, but the same thing should not be happening that did before, especially after those issues had been (mainly) resolved. 9. The Fate of the Furious Is Coming To Forza 7 Turn 10 have announced that Forza Motorsport 7 will receive a ‘The Fate of the Furious Car Pack’ at launch and that it will be free to the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game, or available standalone for a price. Created in collaboration with Universal Brand Development, the pack features ten cars all authentically reproduced from those found in the latest of the action-packed blockbuster series. Reaction to the pack has been mixed, with some scratching their heads and questioning whether the ‘Motorsport’ branch of Forza is fitting for a pack like this, especially as the 'Day One' pack that is given as one of the bonuses for those who have bought the more expensive versions - feeling that it’s more suited to the Horizon games than it’s track based brethren. Forza Motorsport 7 - ‘The Fate of the Furious' Car Pack 1951 Chevrolet Fleetline Special The Fate of the Furious Edition 1966 Chevrolet Corvette The Fate of the Furious Edition 1968 Dodge Charger The Fate of the Furious Edition 1971 Plymouth GTX The Fate of the Furious Edition 2013 Subaru BRZ The Fate of the Furious Edition 2014 Local Motors Rally Fighter The Fate of the Furious Edition 2015 Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe The Fate of the Furious Edition 2015 Mercedes-AMG GT S The Fate of the Furious Edition 2016 Subaru WRX STI The Fate of the Furious Edition 2018 Dodge Demon The Fate of the Furious Edition Amid the mad machinery in the pack is Dom’s all-wheel-drive (!) Dodge Charger in all its battle armoured glory, a gorgeous Jaguar F-TYPE R Coupe, a slightly heavily worse for wear Chevrolet Fleetline Special, and several more. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="7356,7355,7357,7362,7363,7360,7359,7361,7364,7358] It is what it is though, and so if you are a big 'FnF' fan then this is very likely right up your street racing avenue. 10. Forza Motorsport 7 Demo Out Now! The Forza Motorsport 7 demo is out now for download on Xbox One and PC, giving players a real taste of what they can expect from the next in the amazing Forza Motorsport series before it officially launches in a little under two weeks. While waiting for it to download you might like this glimpse at the demo’s content courtesy of the official Hoonigan YouTube channel. A bunch of them got together and challenged each other to a hot lap contest and through this we get a good view of the racing experiences that can be had in it. It also gives players of the demo something to aim for as all the times are posted. And with players being able to take a heavy but extremely speedy racing truck round Mugello, pilot the cover car Porsche 911 GT2 RS through one of the new Dubai environment tracks, or hang on to a Nissan GT-R at a soaking wet storm hit Nurburgring Grand Prix circuit, there should be enough here to tide them over until they get their hands it on for themselves. In addition to this Turn 10 have set loose the official Launch Trailer and posted a new batch of screenshots. Right enough of that, go download the demo for Xbox One or PC now. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="small-post-image" ids="7325,7324,7319,7322,7323,7326,7321,7320] [via Forzamotorsport.net] 2017-09-19 21:01 GMT: Updated screenshots with high-resolution versions
  11. Forza Motorsport 7 Demo Announced Turn 10 have announced that Forza Motorsport 7 has gone gold, and that a demo will be available for Xbox One and PC on September 19th. We are also treated to a look at the official commercial for the next in the highly-popular racing series. ‘Musical Cars’ is a fun advert which takes on the typical musical chairs theme but you guessed it, replaces them with cars. Watching a group of people, including professional driver Ken Block, nonchalantly walk around a collection featuring his own “Hoonicorn” Mustang, a Pagani Huayra, Plymouth Barracuda and more, the music inevitably stops and the race is on to not be left without a driver's seat. https://youtu.be/_PKL3323wkQ Those who weren’t too slow, get into their cars and delight our ears to a delicious symphony of engine start ups and exhaust notes. A really nice top down shot shows each one speeding away and heading out on to the track... except for the Plymouth, which just wants to burn rubber it seems. A brief bit of on-track action follows, and then it switches from the inside of the real car, to the in-game version. As I said it's a fun watch, with an aim to show the fun that all types of player can experience. Make sure you watch the whole thing as there is a nice little finisher at the very end that raises a smile. Forza Motorsport 7 Demo The official demo for Forza Motorsport 7 is coming for both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. The demo features three unique racing experiences in Forza Motorsport 7, showcasing the depth and breadth of the experiences available in the game. Drive the Forza Motorsport 7 cover car – the Porsche 911 GT2 RS – to the brand-new Dubai circuit and experience the thrill of navigating the Jebel Hafeet Pass, one of the most famous driving roads in the world. Or, pilot the massive Mercedes-Benz Tankpool racing truck to victory at the high-speed Mugello circuit in Italy. For drivers who want the ultimate test, the Nissan NISMO GT-R LM is available for a race at the Nürburgring Grand Prix circuit. Forza Motorsport 7 is out October 3rd for Xbox One and PC. (Ultimate Edition owners get earlier access on September 29th) [via Forzamotorsport.net]
  12. Forza Horizon 3 – You Bunch of Hoonigans! A new car pack for Forza Horizon 3 has been revealed for August. The ‘Hoonigan Car Pack’ will arrive next week on the 15th and sees the partnership between Forza and the so-called “motorsport lifestyle” brand continue beyond that of the Blizzard Mountain expansion at the end of last year. For those devoted fans of the Forza series of games who have already put in their pre-orders digitally for Forza Motorsport 7, they will get this car pack at no additional cost both in FH3 and FM7. That’s right, this pack is also making its way to the upcoming Forza 7 and will have near-identical content except for one vehicle each between the two packs. Ironically the Australian-based FH3 misses out on the native to that land Holden Commodore Ute, swapping this instead for a modified to hell "Loki" K5 Blazer. But when you sit back and think about it, this ultimate off-roader will be a lot more at home on the dust, sand and dirt covered hills and mountainous terrain of Horizon, rather than pulling laps or racing from point-to-point in the circuit based FM7. 13. No Toyota Production Cars In Forza 7! There will be no Toyota production cars in Forza Motorsport 7! As unbelievable as that sounds it has been officially confirmed by Turn 10 community manager, Brian Ekberg, in the latest ‘Week in Review’ posted on the official website. Everyday and fan favourites such as the Supra, AE86, Celica, classic 2000 GT and more that have appeared in previous games, will not be in Forza 7. Toyota badged cars are not completely gone however, there will still be the race cars, along with the Hilux Arctic Truck that former Top Gear duo Clarkson and May got to play with in Iceland. Unfortunately it isn’t always possible to align the interests of fans and the interests of our manufacturing partners. As a result, production Toyota vehicles are not represented in Forza 7. We’re as disappointed as you are about this news and, while we hope to bring Toyota production vehicles back to Forza games in the future, it is worth noting that a small number of Toyota race cars will be included in the game. Look for that list in a future edition of the Forza Garage. The above seems to indicate that Toyota and Turn 10 couldn’t come to an agreement, in what way, we can only guess, as the Japanese maker’s cars have featured in past games, where they’ve been able to be kitted out, customised and painted in the livery editor. Whatever the reason, let’s just hope it’s not because of another company grabbing them in some sort of exclusive licensing. (please let’s not see any of that again!) 14. Forza Motorsport 7 Announced Racing fans of all over were in high spirits while watching the Xbox E3 conference, as during the show the first showing and details of Forza Motorsport 7 were revealed. When you are one of the biggest names in the racing game scene it doesn’t take much to get people excited about a new one, however Forza games have always not taken this for granted and generally strive to eclipse what they delivered previous. And who better to talk about it than Turn 10 studio boss Dan Greenawalt. Up on the stage he delved into the many details about the game before presenting the first ever look at Porsche’s brand new 911 GT2 RS, which itself will be the cover car for the game. Personally I think this moment was wasted on the audience as many of them didn’t seem to realise what was actually happening. In the way that Gran Turismo is a showpiece for PlayStation, Forza Motorsport has become one for Xbox, and with the newly announced Xbox One X FM7 is going in all exhausts blazing to demonstrate what it's capable of: running at a native 4K resolution at the trademark 60fps the games are known for and displaying an image quality and clarity that has only been seen on higher-end PCs compared to console. Setting out to be the largest Forza ever, FM7 will have over 700 cars including as said by Greenawalt, “the largest collection of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porsches”. That claim isn’t only about the car list either, there will be 30 environments consisting of over 200 track configurations, made up of real world circuits, locations and fictional creations from Turn 10. This is great to hear as FM games can tend to lack in the number of circuits available department, and some of this number will be made up of former entries to the series, with Mugello being one of the first of these to be spotted from the video (1m27s). Another desire of fans has been answered too, with the featuring of dynamic time-of-day and weather conditions. Customisation is always a favourite in any Forza game and FM7 has now expanded this to include… your driver. Players can personalise their male or female character’s appearance through a wide range of racing gear that spans multiple decades and areas of popular culture. During the show a pair of female racing drivers played through their own races, the first on one of the brand new Dubai layouts in a Porsche 911 GT2 RS, and the other racing a Nissan GT-R racecar around a wet and stormy Nurburgring. Set to launch from October 3rd for the Xbox One family and Windows 10, FM7 is exhibiting that it could be the game many players have been waiting for!
  15. Forza Horizon 3 Loves (Hates?) Mountain Dew A new car pack is out now for Forza Horizon 3 and response to the ‘Mountain Dew’ Car Pack is tepid at best, with more players than usual calling it out as weak. The main reason for this is because back in January the developer version of the PC game was mistakenly made available, and as a result, a look at possible upcoming future content could be performed. Therefore, with players waiting for their desires to show up, it is understandable that a new pack will be criticised or result in disappointment for them. However, even if that info wasn’t already known, impressions from around point to this pack still failing to excite players. By all means that doesn’t mean every car pack has to be gold as players will put up with a crap car among the rest. But that’s just it, the rest doesn’t save it, and that’s what is making this a hard sell. Forza Horizon 3 - 'Mountain Dew' Car Pack 1951 Holden FX Sedan 1971 Chevrolet Vega GT 1973 AMC Gremlin X 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 1996 Ferrari F50 GT 2013 Dodge Dart GT 2016 Lotus 3-Eleven Maybe it will get by on just providing something else to drive and tune in the game, and who knows, perhaps it will find its admirers out there. 16. Forza Horizon 3 PC Improvements We were told back in April that an important update for Forza Horizon 3 on the PC was coming at the same time as the new Hot Wheels expansion, and to the relief of some on PC that promise was kept. These improvements are available to all on PC through the free automatic title update/patch that comes alongside the expansion and delivers “critical improvements” in CPU performance/thread affinity, adds more graphical options, and expands wheel support. We have observed that a large portion of players are CPU limited when trying to run Forza Horizon 3 at high frame rates, including locked 60 FPS and unlocked. By analyzing telemetry, we have developed targeted optimizations for this group of affected players by increasing the number of concurrent threads used by the render architecture. It gets quite technical in some of the explanations and I recommend reading the source for the full breakdown, but the core of it all is to improve the experience for those on PC who have not been having a fun time of it, or to increase the performance of those who are able to play but know/feel they should be getting more. We have updated our threading affinity model to make better use of all available cores. Along with this change, we have added a new graphics option to disable the new model, should you prefer. The Minimum Specification has also been lowered and a new ‘Very Low’ preset is available for those with systems that are therefore capable of running the game even if not at super sleek graphics levels. Extra graphics options with ‘Very Low’ settings are also added to help get those extra few frames out where possible. Forza Horizon 3 - New Minimum Specification CPU: i3-4170 @ 3.7Ghz GPU: NVIDIA GT 740 | AMD R7 250x VRAM: 2GB GDDR5 RAM: 8GB Hard Drive Type: HDD Resolution: 1280 x 720 Increased wheel support is also provided through this update, with all of the following now being able to be used to pilot (and crash) your vehicles in the game. Forza Horizon 3 – Expanded Wheel Support Logitech Driving Force GT Logitech MOMO Force Feedback Racing Wheel Logitech G920 Logitech G29 Logitech G25 Logitech G27 Fanatec ClubSport Wheel Base V1 Fanatec CSV2 Fanatec CSR Thrustmaster TS-PC Thrustmaster T150 Thrustmaster T500 RS Thrustmaster TMX V1 Thrustmaster TMX V2 Thrustmaster T300RS Thrustmaster TX 458 Edition Thrustmaster TX 599 Edition Thrustmaster TX Leather Edition Thrustmaster TX F1 Edition Thrustmaster TX GTE Edition Thrustmaster RGT Hopefully this does help a large number of you who have been unable to enjoy your games, and if it does, and you want to tell someone or show off your photo mode images, then we’d love to have you (and your teeth) join us on our community forum. 17. Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels – Looping The Way! It’s time to get loopy Forza Horizon 3 players as the Hot Wheels expansion is now available, coming in at around a 3GB download. This, the second expansion for the game, revealed in the latter stages of April, introduces a whole new style of play and complete change of direction (quite literally!) to the typical racing formula. And because of this, it would be fair to say that there has been a bit of a mixed reaction from people towards it. However, for a number of those who were unsure, a lot of their worries were removed with the stream held at the Hot Wheels offices on Monday. As with the footage that was shown, it was easy to see just how fun this was going to be (yes I know that rhymed). Also evident, was that this was no lousy, no effort cash-in, as the tracks, their details, and the additional cars, were at the high level that is known and expected from a Forza title. Really, the workmanship that's gone into the creation of the tracks to make them look like the actual thing, is quite extraordinary. Viewable too, was the challenge and some of the chaos that awaits players: Be it falling off the edge of the track when aiming for that perfect line through a corner, completely missing the other side of, or barrel rolling long jumps, carrying too much speed and driving over the wall-edge, taking a wrong turn, or perhaps getting t-boned at a cross-section, it was all there, and it brought the realisation that this is actually Hot Wheels but, done in a semi-realistic manner. And sure, there’s speed power boosts, but hey, how else are you going to stick to 90 degree surfaces or loop-the-loop, if you’re not carrying some seriously deranged speed? Forza Horizon Hot Wheels – Car List 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill 1972 Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T E49 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38 2010 Pagani Zonda R 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod 2016 Jeep Trailcat 2016 Zenvo STI Plus a Barn Find! Diehard interior view drivers get an extra bonus too. As a couple of the Hot Wheels cars will have them needing to tackle these layouts without being able to see what is in front of them that well, let alone the dizziness and confusion felt when going through the loops or round some insane camber. Now tell me that doesn’t sound fun! Understandably there will still be those out there who will not want the expansion or will not like that their Expansion Pass is made up of this, but seriously if you are in that latter camp. Go download the content and give it a go, or better yet if you have kids let them have a shot as that’s what’s great about this. It let’s us all, be kids. Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels is out now on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. It is available as a standalone purchase, or is included as a part of the Expansion Pass. 18. Forza Horizon 3 & Hot Wheels! If there is one thing we have seen games do recently, it is to embrace the insanity! With games like Trackmania Turbo being the more modern pioneers of all-out blistering paced gravity defying racing action, it was telling that this gameplay style was popular with people as others seemed to latch on to it, such as GTA Online. And now Forza is getting in on it too! The second expansion pack for Forza Horizon 3 is due to release on May 9th and sees the open-world driving and racing spectacular join up with ‘Hot Wheels’. If you aren’t already imagining what this means, then all you need to know is to picture in your head: A LOT of the colour orange, driving-on-the-wall type banking, multiple loop-the-loops, skyscraper-high tracks and destruction derby inviting cross-track sections. (or you can just watch the trailer below ) Set along six new islands located off the game’s Australian coast, each configuration is connected to one another and will have players performing extreme stunt driving as they tackle their way through an all-new campaign. Explore the world of Forza Horizon 3 Hot Wheels in an all-new campaign, completing events on your way towards the ultimate stunt-driving test, an epic Grand Finale taking place on the massive new Hot Wheels Goliath circuit. – Forzamotorsport.net It will be the multiplayer where this expansion is likely to shine, as players will not only be racing on those famous tracks, but also a brand-new Playground Arena in which they can go nuts in. For the competitive bunch, there is the option to use the ‘Stunt Swap’ feature to modify sections of the tracks (the stunts perhaps?) and then challenge your friends to have a go. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="6809,6803,6804,6802,6801] Being that this is a Hot Wheels expansion, there is naturally additional cars inside it. And yes, some of them are Hot Wheels legends! The Twin Mill, Bone Shaker and Rip Rod all feature in stunningly recreated excellence, with the Twin Mill looking especially good. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="6807,6806,6808] It’s not all weird and wonderful fictional recreations either, as there’s some normal road-going, non-road legal, off-roaders, and an unexpected arrival that you may recognise from how it helped Jeremy Clarkson and James May tackle Iceland easier than Hammond and his doggies did. This is a radical departure from the typical offering you would expect but it looks to be one that is all about delivering just good clean fun. Not taking yourself too seriously is something that usually works out well but only time will tell if the playerbase likes what’s here. Forza Horizon 3 – PC Update Tucked away near the bottom of this announcement, is a mention about a new update coming to Windows 10 on the same day. This will include some “significant improvements” including but not limited to: new support for numerous popular driving wheels improved CPU performance additional graphics options More details of what else is to come in it will be revealed on May 9th. 19. Porsche Expansion Pack Price CRASH The Forza series continues to deal out the feel goods when it comes to Porsche, as for a very limited time only, the Forza Motorsport 6 Porsche Expansion gets a monstrous price cut! Therefore, if you held off from buying before but still enjoy a stint on Forza 6 now and again, then here is the perfect time to grab yourself this expansion and enjoy it even more! 20. Forza Horizon 3 Porsche Pack The good news continues to spread out across the racing sphere in regards to Porsche availability, as it has just been announced that Porsche and Turn 10 have struck an “in-depth six-year partnership” together... and it kicks off immediately with the release of the ‘Porsche Car Pack’ for Forza Horizon 3. From the catalogue of Porsche comes seven models, ranging from the classic to the modern. Fans of the marque should be more than happy with what is on offer too, with standouts such as the 911 (993) GT2 and 1973 911 Carrera RS being my personal picks of the list. I also reaaaallly hope that the days of exclusive Porsche – or any premier marque for that matter – licensing is dead and buried, and is something we will no longer have to put up with. 21. FH3: Playseat Car Pack Been a bit of a wait for the first Tuesday of the month to arrive as this is when a new slice of car pack DLC for Forza Horizon 3 tends to drop, and with this February having a whole 7 days before a Tuesday rolls around it has felt like this latest pack has taken its time a little, but it hasn't, it's actually right on time. The new Forza Horizon 3 Car Playseat Car Pack is out now and contains a collection of seven new vehicles, including the brand new Aston Martin DB11... aaaaaand a Vauxhall Corsa. A bit disappointing in a way this latest release in my opinion, considering what we saw being leaked with the whole unencrypted developer version mistake at the start of this year, but hey it’s a new car pack, and there will be players out there who will very much be feeling it. 22. Forza Horizon GT3 A partnership has been formed between Microsoft and the Change Racing team who will be running a Lamborghini Huracan GT3 in the GTD Class in this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona race. The Racing Bull will be wearing a special livery created by Turn 10’s very own Ayo Jube and sees plenty of Xbox and Forza Motorsport branding covering the vehicle, along with its typical sponsors. As a part of this partnership, Forza Horizon 3 will see the car become available as a download (and be included in Forza Motorsport 7?). How this will be done, we are uncertain, however it will either be given free, included in a premium car pack, or as is most likely, be a Forzathon prize. As the result of an expanding partnership with Microsoft, Change Racing will carry branding from Forza Motorsport, the hugely popular and best-selling racing video game from Turn 10 Studios for Xbox consoles. The partnership will be supported by a range of marketing activations as well as featuring in-game content from Change Racing, including the ability for players to download the No. 16 Forza Motorsport/Orion/Monster Energy GTD car for in game play. – IMSA website The Change Racing team have even been having some fun with the whole thing, sharing some of their testing and practice sessions on their twitter. If you are eager to see how the car and team does, then be sure to catch it at the race when it takes place on January 28th – 29th. [via IMSA | Forzamotorsport]
  23. Forza Horizon 3 PC Update Fix It is most definitely not the best way to start a new year off by putting a developer version of your game up for download, instead of just an update. But that’s what happened with Forza Horizon 3 on PC. Many players found it strange that they were apparently having to download the entire game again as their screens were showing 50GB+ being retrieved. This was because, instead of accessing what should have been an update to enable the 'Rockstar Energy Car Pack' DLC and a brand new Barn Find, it turned out that the download was in fact a version of the game that should not have been available at all. And through curious Georges and others not called George, we have been treated to discoveries and info about the potential content that could be making its way to the incredible open-world racer in future. A downside of all this though was that this version caused issues with save games used by the normal retail version. Even so far as to causing them to corrupt! Then there was the whole not being able to use the new content that people had bought, and so the download was pulled, messages were posted about the team being aware, and a fix was promised. Days passed and people were getting annoyed with the silence and lack of anything seeming to happen, turning in their frustration to social media to vent and demand some answers, but generally the same response along the lines of 'we're working on it' was all that was given. However as with everything, time is a healer and today the fix is out and the new content of the ‘Rockstar Energy Car Pack’ can be fully enjoyed by those on PC… albeit three days later. The latest version of the Forza Horizon 3 PC update is now available. This version (1.0.39.2) includes the Rockstar Energy Car Pack content. Apologies to all our PC players who were eagerly awaiting this update and thank you for your continued patience. – Brian Ekberg, Forza Community Manager Note that those who downloaded the developer copy will likely need to download the entire game again in order to make use of the fix, and unfortunately there is no guarantee as to the working of the save file if used with it.
  24. Forza Horizon 3 Has A BIG Leak! “Oh crud”, this is what someone at Forza Horizon 3 developer Playground Games is saying (and much worse) as they realise what some canny individuals have spotted in what came with, what was supposed to be, the release of the Rockstar Energy Car Pack. It almost seemed like the old re-downloading of the whole game while updating bug had reappeared, but no it was much worse. The update was genuine, but it turns out that it was in fact making the consumer game into a DEVELOPER VERSION! First adopters were getting aggrieved that their save games weren’t working and there was some other oddities in places and Turn 10 did say they were looking into the issue and recommended cancelling the update until the matter was resolved. However, those that decided to delve in a little deeper made some startling discoveries within the file system. The most noteworthy being files that appear to show upcoming and future vehicles that could be making their way to the game. Many of those have been in a Forza at some point and Porsche again, has been sighted within the files but happily there are also a number of completely new to the series examples in there too. With a number of them being of manufacturing year (MY) 2016 and 2017 like the 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and 2017 Aston Martin DB11. There’s so much been found already and if you wish to check it all out for yourself then make sure to check out the links below. List of Leaked Cars for Forza Horizon 3 Imgur Album Showing Vehicle Filenames Imgur Album Showing Some Of The Vehicles In The Game Unfortunately for PC players (as if they don’t have enough bad luck) the update has been removed and a fix is still being waited on. Consequently meaning that the new car pack and content cannot be used until this happens. - The incorrect PC version of FH3 has now been removed and replaced. PC players who have the FH3 version ending with .37.2 should immediately uninstall that version of the game, then re-install. The correct playable version should end in .35.2. - NOTE: PC players who completed the download of .37.2 and then started a new game save will have a corrupted saved game. Avoid creating a new saved game on .37.2, and only play on .35.2 to avoid this issue. As long as you have an existing save and have not created a new one on .37.2, your saved game will work correctly once the update is available. As a reminder, you can check your version number on the launch screen where you sign in. – Brian Ekberg, Forza Community Manager What a way to enter the new year, it has certainly made a splash that’s for sure but I would not want to be in the shoes of whoever was responsible for this balls up. In saying that, hopefully this turns out to be more of a lesson learned rather than someone losing their job.
  25. Happy New Rockstar Energy Car Pack! The first Forza Horizon 3 DLC of 2017 is out and available now and as was revealed in December the BMW i8 hybrid heads up the new seven vehicles that come with it. Called the ‘Rockstar Energy Car Pack’, this latest selection consists of as you would imagine some of those that are related to the extremes that the company takes part in and is known for. Forza Horizon 3 – Rockstar Energy Car Pack 2015 BMW i8 2014 Ford #11 Rockstar Energy Trophy Truck 1987 Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31) 1972 Ford Falcon XA GT-HO 2015 Radical RXC Turbo 2015 Volvo V60 Polestar 2016 Bentley Bentayga Best example of this is the covered in Rockstar Energy Drink branding Ford F150 Trophy Truck, which took a resounding win at the Baja 1000. This behemoth will have no troubles tackling any and all terrain that the game’s environment can throw at it… except for the deep ocean water maybe. https://youtu.be/Zfqdpr8UYpo Making its first gaming appearance in production form, the BMW i8 Hybrid sports car has been wanted by the official Forza forums community for a while now. Quite a stunner in the looks department, it was good to see the i8 actually being built instead of turning out to be some flashy design exercise that tends to happen with cars like this. Accompanying those mentioned above there is another Japanese legend of the Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31), a closed-roof Radical RXC Turbo which is at home tearing up the road as it is on the track, local hero Aussie muscle Ford Falcon XA GT-HO, a speedy Volvo estate/wagon which would make an excellent Taxi or allow players to pretend to do the weekly shop, and finally, the upper-class SUV – because these things sell for some reason – Bentley Bentayga.
