  1. Free Audi Quattro S1 Group B The end of year look back posted by Marco Massarutto on the official blog gave us insight into some of the free bonus content that would be coming to Assetto Corsa in the new year, with a number of vehicles and a new circuit being mentioned within the text. Amazingly, despite all the free stuff that is talked about in that blog post, we learn from Massarutto via a posting on his Facebook, that the Audi Quattro S1 Group B rally car is another item of them and that it is due for a February release. We are also treated to 3 in-game images where we can view the stunning detail in the recreation of the car, including one that gives us a good view of the interior and the multitude of switches and buttons that cover it. As is typically the case, the model is looking to be of the high standard we have come to expect from Kunos Simulazioni. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="6551,6552,6553] These images also provide us with more looks at the fictional Scottish track that is upcoming and will be free to download too. More information and media on this environment and what it contains should be forthcoming and being a Scot myself, I cannot wait to see what challenges and beauty await players in this location. As an aside, Massarutto brilliantly lays into the previous moaners within the community by apologising in advance that the next free bonus content will not be a SUV. This sharp little dig was made because of those super-entitled players who voiced outrage and displeasure that the free Porsches being given consisted of SUVs. We’re sure many won’t be complaining too much about this freebie, though it does make us wonder if this rally car will be getting a rally playground or something else where it can really unleash its potential? Just need to wait and see I guess.
  2. Console Porsche Pack 3 & Private Lobbies A rather small but nonetheless important blog posting has been made by 505 Games Community Manager, Antonela Pounder, informing that Porsche Pack Volume 3 is on its way to submission next week. The third and final of the Porsche Packs has been a bit of a wait for Assetto Corsa players on PS4 and Xbox One compared to their PC brethren who got theirs shortly before Christmas, but alas the end is finally in sight. When the submission process is complete, Kunos Simulazioni will be able to give more info and a proper release date for it and the accompanying v1.12 update. The final Porsche Pack continues the run of providing some top racing and road-going models from the Porsche line-up as it includes some beauties such as the 917 K and 908 Lang-Heck for the motorsport advocates, whereas the showroom fans can have some fun with the driver focused 911 R. For those who haven't been following the path of these packs then worry not, the full range of the models included is listed below: Porsche Pack Volume 3 - Contents Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 R 2016 Porsche 919 Hybrid 2016 Porsche 908 LH Porsche 917 K Porsche 911 R Porsche 911 Turbo S Should you not be willing to fork out some small change for the pack then a free vehicle will still be yours as the final of the freebie Porsches, the Macan Turbo, will be provided with the update just like all those previous. Still no mention of the 2017 911 RSR that was originally set for being included in the final Porsche pack but was removed and then replaced with the 911 Turbo S. The swap was done with the intention of the RSR to come at a later date some time in January as a free upgrade to that pack. However, as we are into the final part of January and nothing more has been said or seen of the car, chances are it won’t be making it this month. It will still come, of that we can be fairly sure. To keep players engaged with the game there will be a total of 40 new Special Events for the last few DLC pack releases. These are divided up between them with 15 for the Red Pack DLC, 13 for Porsche Pack Vol. 2 and 12 for the upcoming Porsche Pack Vol. 3. What's the story with Private Lobbies? As brilliant as that pack and those events are, there is another aspect that is seemingly of more importance to a number of players and that is Private Lobbies. It was really quite ridiculous of Kunos not to have this function within the game for console players, but they took notice and have been working away on making it happen for a while and now they are ready to enter the quality assurance (QA) phase. This means that the team are happy enough with how things are going and are moving on to checking how the function runs in the actual game so that they can find and detect any problems or bugs that may have been missed during the development process. If things look good, then it can go onto the next stage and get even closer to an eventual release. However if issues arise then it's back to scrolling though them screens of code to make the needed changes before repeating the process. [via Assetto Corsa blog]
  3. Console ‘Red Pack’ & Porsche Pack Vol 2 OUT NOW! Here we are, into the beginnings of 2017 and Kunos Simulazioni and 505 Games are right on it, as today saw the release of the ‘Red Pack’ and Porsche Pack Volume 2 for PS4 and Xbox One. In fairness, they did say the simultaneous landing of the packs would happen but as has been seen previously, it’s not always the case to blindly believe this will be the case. var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.8&appId=159301820896907"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); " data-width="auto" data-show-text="false"> Both of the packs which have been available on PC for months, were very much eagerly awaited by players on both console platforms. And so to get them two dropping at the same time is going to put many of them in a right cheery mood. Assetto Corsa ‘Red Pack’ - Contents Ferrari SF15-T Ferrari F138 Ferrari 488 GT3 Maserati 250F 6C Maserati 250F T2 12C Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce Red Bull Ring circuit Deciding between the two however isn’t the only issue facing those on Xbox One right now. As has become almost routine for those players on the Microsoft system, experiencing new frustration with additional content has shown itself again: this time being that Season Pass holders are unable to unlock the content they are entitled to. Kunos are aware and looking into it and hopefully this problem will be resolved in not too long. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail For those able to download the content and have it work as expected, plenty of new vehicles and a new track awaits them. Be it taking the duo of Ferrari F1 cars around the numerous locations the game has to offer or hanging on to a Porsche 962c as it tries to wrestle away from your control. The new thrills are due to be bountiful with all the new machinery and new track that is included inside the two packs. This latest release brings the console versions of the game to v1.11 and along with a number of fixes, delivers another free Porsche. The Porsche Cayenne is the second of the free Porsche triplets promised, giving everyone some more Porsche to play with even if they do not buy any of the new content. No word on the console Porsche Pack Volume 3 right now, but that can be forgiven. However could it also make an appearance this month? It will be interesting to see what Kunos does, as the delayed 911 RSR 2017 that was meant to be in the PC release of the pack last December, is pencilled in to become a free upgrade to that pack some time this month. Available now, the Porsche Pack 2 and the Red Pack are included in the console Season Pass, or can be purchased separately on the PlayStation and Microsoft Stores.
  4. Assetto Corsa 2017 Look Ahead Tasked with writing an end of year post for the official website, our favourite teaser-geezer Marco Massarutto, has revealed a nice amount of features and content that will be landing on Assetto Corsa in 2017. Within it we discover that more free bonus cars and tracks are heading to the game alongside confirmation that the recently released Customisable Championships mode, which came to the PC version last month, will also be coming to the consoles. There was also acknowledgement that work is still being carried on delivering Private Lobbies to the consoles. Not one to keep too many secrets hidden away, Massarutto announces that there will be a brand new created from scratch fictional track based in Scotland! Yeah my home country people!! Can’t argue with their choice, we do have some epic roads (and scenery) here. Arriving free as bonus content in the early part of 2017, this new circuit has been created in partnership with Nvidia and Sparco because apparently the “ideal” circuit doesn’t exist in the real world *ahem Nordschleife*, and will consist of 4 different configurations, incorporating city track, drift layout and endurance course racing. This track will allow you to enjoy each car included in Assetto Corsa, from the very little and quiet Abarth 595 to the racing cars designed for endurance racing, to the GT cars you are enjoying so much. We’ll unveil more details very soon, our aim is to release it within the Q1 2017. Whether these are all set in one place or spread throughout (!), we will need to wait and see. The Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway is unfortunately going to be a bit later coming to the game than Kunos originally wanted, but it will drop in the first half of 2017. As for the cars, well they get even better! Free bonus content alone will itself provide players with the Mazda 787B, Maserati Quattroporte, Miata NA and the new Audi TT. Whereas premium content will begin with the “British Pack”. Comprising of those that make up the latest line-up from McLaren, Lotus and maybe some others, as is hinted at. Kunos, as an Italian developer, unsurprisingly have a real devotion to Ferrari. And as was clear from the several that came with the vanilla game, in DLC and the Scuderia F1 editions included inside the incredible 'Red Pack', this is excellent for players. And with Ferrari celebrating their 70th Anniversary in 2017, AC is set to get a dedicated pack containing 7 of the prestigious marque’s models with the AC community getting a chance to get involved in the choice with a poll. Continuing to grow, the future is looking good for Kunos and AC. Putting the final touches together in the opening of a new studio that has come about as their current base of operations at the Vallelunga circuit undergoes maintenance. These new digs will be better for them as it will have dedicated areas for VR, testing, multiplayer and R&D. There may also be the opportunity for inviting fans and supporters, where they might be shown top secret 'NOT FOR MASSARUTTO’S EYES AS HE WILL SHOW IT' type work in progress. :p Lastly, for all of you AC players who feel you are not showing enough support to the game through the buying of everything they release, you will be ecstatic to hear that as a result of their partnership with SPARCO, there will be some official Assetto Corsa merchandise available for you spend your money on. So now you can deck yourself out as an AC obsessed fanatic... or just buy an item or two, whatever takes your fancy. Assetto Corsa is available for PC on Steam and PS4 and Xbox One to on their respective marketplaces, as well as any many good retailers. [via Assetto Corsa blog]
  5. Time For Porsche Pack Vol. 3 Well here we are, the third and final Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa is released today for PC. Bringing the phenomenal Porsche DLC program for the title to its climax. For a while it felt like we were only hearing about Porsche coming to the game at some point from Kunos Simulazioni, and now, here we are – it’s done, it’s finished, and there is a whole load of fine virtual Porsche metal out there for players to enjoy. Containing another set of models that will make many an enthusiast beam a smile, such as the 908 LH and 917 K, and providing those who have more of a penchant for modern metal, the 911 R and Le Mans racing 919 Hybrid 2016. Every player should be able to find something in here that they will like. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 3 Porsche 919 Hybrid 2016 LeMans configuration Porsche 908 Lang Heck (Long Tail) Porsche 917 K Porsche 911 R (991) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 R 2016 Porsche 911 Turbo S (991) Earlier lists included the 911 RSR 2017 with the third pack, but just days before the pack was due for release, it was announced that Kunos were delaying the car so that they could take more time to reproduce it accurately. The Turbo S was brought in to take its slot and now the RSR 2017 will be released as a free upgrade to Volume 3 in January. As has become common for those on console, a nice long wait is on the cards for them, as even though Kunos did mention a “December” release a couple of months ago, that has unfortunately slipped and now more Porsche will not hit until January when Volume 2 is set to release. However it will be joined with the Red Pack when it does, so every cloud eh! And just like with every pack that has landed, the accompanying update contains another of the free trio of Porsches to be given away at no additional cost. This third and final time it is the turn of the Macan Turbo. Speaking of which, this latest one takes the PC up to version 1.11 where along with the bug fixes and improvements is an all-new Championship gameplay mode. Allowing players to create their own championships with options such as selecting the cars, tracks, laps, points, rules and compete against the AI. 6. See What’s In Porsche Pack Vol. 3 With hardly any time at all to go until PC players get to grips with Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume 3, a whole batch of new images have appeared, giving us a view at all the models. Marco Massarutto was posting some of them up on his own page as he likes to do, but it looks like another team member went a step further and put even more of the set, up on Steam. This the final of the three packs, has seven fantastic cars from the House of Porsche waiting for them, and yet again the selection on offer is astonishing! Comprising of even more legends from the marque’s racing heritage and of those that are at home on the road as well as on the track, the collection contains a great set of classic and modern Porsche machinery for players to try and get a small feeling of what it must be like to actually pilot these things. As was announced a few days ago, there is a change to the originally communicated contents of Porsche Pack Vol. 3 in that the 911 RSR 2017 has been removed and the 911 Turbo S brought in to take over its place. The reason for this is that Kunos Simulazioni feel they need more time to reproduce the first mid-engined 911 as best they can and would prefer to deliver it later rather than release it an incomplete or poor representative state to the actual. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 3 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S Porsche 911 GT3 R 2015 Porsche 919 Hybrid 2016 Porsche 908 LH Porsche 917 K Porsche 911 R Not forgetting that the Porsche Macan, the last of the three Porsches to be given away free to everyone, will be a part of the accompanying update to the release of the main pack, just like the Panamera and Cayenne before. Console players on PS4 and Xbox One will need to wait until the new year to see more Porsche on their copies of AC and it’s anyone’s guess as to when they will see this one. Despite that, it is excellent how Kunos is supporting this game and communicating to all factions of their community. Cannot wait to see what exciting and new prospects await the title and its players in 2017. The PC version of Porsche Pack Vol. 3 DLC for Assetto Corsa is out on December 20th through Steam. It can be pre-purchased now or bought on the day at the dedicated Steam page or will be included for those who have pursched the Porsche Season Pass. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="small-post-image" ids="6365,6366,6367,6368,6369,6370,6371,6372,6373,6374,6375,6376,6377,6378,6379,6380] [via Steam]
  7. Porsche Pack Vol. 2 / Red Pack Console Info Console players of Assetto Corsa will be happy to know that Porsche Pack Volume 2 is heading for submission this week and that news has finally broken about the PS4 and Xbox One ‘Red Pack’ too. From a post made on the official console blog by 505 Games Community Manager, Antonela Pounder, we find that the second Porsche Pack is going into the ‘check it doesn’t explode the console’ submission process at Sony and Microsoft this week, meaning a release now for early January looks certain and not the proposed “December” they mentioned earlier. (boo! j/k) Porsche Pack Volume 2 is a real favourite with us here at turboduck, as it comprises of some truly iconic Porsche racing history in the Porsche 962c in both long and short tail varieties, and the 911 GT1, along with some equally delectable road going metal of the 911 GT3 RS and Cayman GT4. The latter of which is regarded as one of the best handling and driver thrilling cars in its price bracket. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail In light of all the Porsche hype and excitement, it has been easy to forget about another of the stellar DLC drops for AC that came donkey’s ways back in July to the PC – the ‘Red Pack’. Proving you can never have too much of a good thing, the console version of the ‘Red Pack’ will release at the same time as Porsche Pack Vol. 2!! And no it’s not just full of Ferraris. Being Italian themselves, Kunos Simulazioni are very proud of their heritage and also that of their country's most famous marques, and the Red Pack demonstrates why in superb form. From the stable of the Prancing Horse there is not one, but TWO Scuderia Ferrari F1 cars in way of the 2015 season SF15-T and the 2013 V8 powered F138, along with the 488 GT3 racecar. Where there is a Prancing Horse there is usually a Raging Bull snorting angrily and in the virtual space this is no different, as the one and only Lamborghini of the monstrous Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce makes itself welcome onto the list. Another Italian legend of motoring history is Maserati, and they are well represented as to why with the early classic Formula One racing 250F 6C and the 250F T2 12C. Modern times is given a place too, as the (imo) gorgeous GranTurismo MC GT4 racecar makes up the last of the vehicles to come with the pack. Assetto Corsa - Red Pack Ferrari SF-15T Ferrari F138 Ferrari 488 GT3 Maserati 250F 6C Maserati 250F T2 12C Maserati GranTurismo MC GT4 Lamborghini Aventador SuperVeloce But wait, there’s more! The Red Bull Ring of Austria is also included in all its authentic laser scanned glory, increasing the track selection by another notch in what is already quite an impressive line-up. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="5062,4923,5084,4905,5044] What about Private Lobbies? We knew you would ask this and thankfully so did the AC squad so we’ll just let them tell you. Don’t worry… They’re coming! ? Private lobbies are a big job, but the team are working incredibly hard to bring them to Assetto Corsa. While we don’t have a release date yet, you can expect them in the new year as part of a major update. More info soon! There is a promise of more info, a review round-up of the past year and an insight into what 2017 will bring by (I do like to tease them) Marco Massarutto and we will be sure to share that as it becomes available. [via Assetto Corsa blog] Note: the images shown are media from the PC releases.
  8. Porsche Pack Vol. 3 Switch With not much time left until the final Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa becomes available for those on PC, there has been a late announcement about a change to the contents in regards to the Porsche 911 RSR 2017. Only recently revealed itself, the 911 RSR 2017 is a totally new car compared to previous iterations and in something of a first for the 911 range, it is mid-engined! Naturally Kunos want to faithfully reproduce it in the best way possible and so they have taken the decision to remove it from Porsche Pack Volume 3 so that they can spend more time on it. The 911 RSR 2017 is not an upgrade of the previous model, but a totally new car. As we want to ensure the best experience possible from this amazing model, we unfortunately need to spend a bit more time on it, meaning it won't be released as part of the Porsche Pack Vol. 3 DLC next week. They know this will come as a disappointment to many but they are not just removing the car and leaving an empty space to be filled later. No, they are replacing it with the modern 911 Turbo S that they say a number of their community have been asking for, even so far as to enquiring why it was missing in the first place. [gallery type=rectangular" link="file" size="seven-post-image" ids="6335,6336,6337,6338,6339] As for the 911 RSR 2017? That will still come to Porsche Pack Vol. 3 as a free upgrade in January so it is not being lost. I think it’s likely that the team have tried to get the car ready for its release but unfortunately it just hasn’t reached a point they are happy with and have taken the tough decision to pull it. Announcing this so close to the release reflects this to be more than likely and it is sort of refreshing to see them choose to do this. Plenty of others would release it as is and work on fixing it up later after all. Hopefully players will see this in a good light and not in some ‘they are not delivering what they promised’ rubbish as they could have delayed the whole pack to until the car was ready. [via Assetto Corsa Facebook]
  9. PS4 Assetto Corsa v1.10 Update Back in late November Assetto Corsa on PS4 received the long-awaited Porsche Pack Volume 1 and the v1.09 update. Unfortunately it seemed to introduce some issues with it at the same time, the most annoying being with some wheels such as the Logitech G29 and Thrustmaster T300 where the steering was basically broken. And you need to be able to steer while racing as this isn’t NASCAR after all. *runs* Other fixes are included too in the small list which is shown below. Assetto Corsa – v1.10 Update Fixed broken steering rotation on wheels including G29, T300 Fixed horn button on certain wheels Fixed “Real Racer” trophy Fixed force feedback setting in UI Fixed wrong ghost car timing Fixed sound problems on certain tracks caused by reverbs Fixed Monza 66 invisible wall Fixed track temperature [via Assetto Corsa Facebook]
  10. Porsche Pack 1 Out on Xbox One Players of Assetto Corsa on Xbox One now have Porsche Pack Volume 1 available to download, along with the v1.09 update which delivers many improvements, fixes and the first of the free Porsches, the Panamera. Been a bit of a torrid time for AC fans on the Xbox One in respect to the first Porsche Pack, it’s been bad enough having to wait so long after the pack first hit the PC but to have their bitter arch rival on PS4 get the pack and update back at the tail-end of November, that’s gotta sting! All jokes aside, it was a shame it had to happen that way but time is a healer as they say and finally, all platforms, have at least one of the Porsche Pack available for it now. And it’s not only those players who buy who get some new content remember, everyone will receive the Porsche Panamera and the historic Silverstone circuit also. Assetto Corsa is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The Porsche Pack can be bought individually or can be attained via the purchase of the Season Pass which is really good value for what it will get you.
  11. Porsche Pack Volume III As the end of 2016 approaches at dizzying speeds, it will also bring the end of the known Porsche Packs to Assetto Corsa, as the third and final one of Porsche Pack Volume 3 will release for PC on December 20th. We have known about what will be in these packs since their details appeared on Steam way back in October, in a way spoiling the surprise of the teasing that Kunos Simulazioni are so very good at. Nonetheless, the images that do get posted showing the in-game examples out on the tracks and road layouts within the game are always great to see, and are usually taken in an exciting and non-boring manner. This latest batch has a couple of pics that are of no exception to that. With a top-down helicopter-esque view of a 911 GT3 Cup 2017 or the awesome view as a 908 LH carries so much speed over a crest that it catches some sweet air. Porsche Pack Volume 3 - Contents 911 GT3 Cup 2017 911 GT3 RSR 2017 911 GT3 R 2015 919 Hybrid 2016 908 LH 917 K 911 R As with the other two previous packs, it will be time for another free Porsche. The Porsche Macan will be the final of the trio that was promised for the game and will join the Porsche Panamera G2 and Porsche Cayenne that came before it at no cost. PS4 players have only recently gotten their taste of Porsche Pack Volume 1, while those on Xbox One are still waiting for theirs, and yet here is the PC about to get the last of the three packs. Cwazy! Regardless, the coming of more Porsche is something that many an Assetto Corsa fan will be eager to sample and as the old saying goes: ‘’good things come to those who wait”. Now if only we could get Porsche out there and into more games, that would be a nice present for many racing fans. Porsche Pack Volume 3 is out on December 20th on Steam for PC and will be out for PS4 and Xbox One probably some time in 2017.
  12. Porsche Pack 1 Resubmitted Players of Assetto Corsa on Xbox One should shortly be able to join in on the Porsche fun that their PC and PS4 counterparts are currently enjoying, with the news that Kunos Simulazioni have resubmitted the content to Microsoft. Intended for release on both PS4 and Xbox One earlier this week, it was unfortunate that some gremlins seemed to hit the Xbox One, resulting in a small delay for those on the platform. True to their word though, the devs at Kunos have worked on fixing what needed done and got it back into the hands at Microsoft where hopefully this time no problems will occur. >Today, we're pleased to announce that v 1.09 has gone into submission and providing all goes well, we'll be releasing next week. So Xbox One fans will have a slightly longer wait for their fill of Porsche, but after waiting this long after the original PC release, what’s an extra week or so anyway?! [via Assetto Corsa forum]
  13. Porsche Pack 1 for Console Tomorrow is the day for the consoles to get the first Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack. Well the PlayStation 4 will anyway as unfortunately the Xbox One version has received a slight delay. Rest assured though that Kunos are on the case and are in their own words “working flat out right now and doing all they can to solve the issues” in order to bring the Porsche pack and update to the Xbox playerbase. Already out for the PC, the pack includes some of the most iconic Porsches known. From the modern hypercar of the 918 Spyder to the ‘they actually made this thing’ 917/30 Spyder. Porsche Pack Volume 1 - Contents Porsche 911 Carrera S Porsche 918 Spyder Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 Porsche 718 Cayman S Porsche 917/30 Spyder Porsche 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’ Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport A new update will accompany the pack release too in version 1.09. This will bring a number of fixes and improvements along with two pieces of free bonus content: the Porsche Panamera G2 Turbo and the historic Silverstone circuit. On the console there seems to be a fair amount of having to take the good with the bad, but it's undeniable that AC is one of the best racing simulators available on console. The original proclamation of the intent to bring the console version up to that of the PC seems to be getting chipped away as time goes by. There's still time though, so they may very well surprise. UPDATE V 1.09 FIXES AND CHANGES – Upgraded physics engine and network protocol to bring them in line with the PC version of Assetto Corsa as of release 1.9 – Upgraded FMOD to latest 1.08, and done a lot of tweaks and fixes to the audio of all cars – Fixed some problems with the AI on race start – Fixed crash when suspending the game during a multiplayer race – Fixed a recurring crash with Special Events, caused by a certain sequence of actions in the launcher – Fixed bug that blocked users from pushing turbo to 100% – Fixed bug with Traction Control level selection – Fixed several translation issues – Fixed a degenerate collision triangle in Brands Hatch that was causing the simulation to break when hitting it – Added support for visible checkpoints in Time Attack mode – Added new controls presets – Added support for Porsche-specific car features and Special Events – Added support for DLC content: Porsche Pack #1 – Added driver skins Remember that the Porsche Season Pass (search for it on your respective platform) is a great buy if you intend to pick up every one of the three Porsche packs, with a generous discount compared to buying all of them individually. And even though PC has had Porsche Pack Volume 2 already, it has been affirmed for December on console and hopefully should be earlier than arriving right at the end of it like this one has. [via Assetto Corsa]
  14. Say It Isn't So Stefano! The console version of Assetto Corsa is a fantastic simulation racer and really takes the fight to the main stays of Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport on PS4 and Xbox One, but there are things lacking within it that you just wouldn’t expect to be in this day and age. And despite some of this such as the lack of Private Lobbies and being unable to use DLC online being addressed by the team at Kunos Simulazioni, a recent reply by founder and Lead Programmer Stefano Casillo to a member called 'Donnced' on the official AC forums seems to indicate that the consoles will not get full race replays, a photomode (!) or the Showroom mode that is on the PC. The response shown above doesn’t completely rule them out, however it is easy to ascertain that if they were to come, it would certainly be some way off from now. From a look around it looks like replays are done in a manner not of the norm that titles usually go for, whereby a number of games will record the actions in the race and then replay them through the game engine to recreate the session recorded. AC though, with its large filesizes must use another method. Not having a photomode is enough to make us cry, as we adore this feature and really enjoy it when our members post in our dedicated Gaming Media forum or share their stuff in the Gallery. You see, ever since taking those first shots in GT4 many years ago, it was exciting to think how the future would allow us as players to use and showcase our media, and sure the new consoles have a function to take a screenshot built into them but, being able to jump out and set up your shot just right makes a dedicated option for it, that much better. In my view… EVERY GAME SHOULD HAVE A PHOTOMODE!! Showroom is akin to Forzavista or Photo Travel in the Gran Turismo series – allowing players to check out the vehicles in more detail and see how much attention to detail has been paid to the recreation of the models. 15. Porsche Pack Volume II Another plethora of machinery from the garage of Porsche has become available for Assetto Corsa with the release of Porsche Pack Volume 2 on Steam for PC. Surprisingly there wasn’t much in the way of promotion and teasing on social media, something that has become somewhat customary from the team. Although that is understandable, considering they appeared to be guests of Porsche at a trackday event where they got to check out and sit behind (but not drive) some of the legends that can be found inside these Porsche packs. The second Porsche pack contains some of the best known racing legends from the marque, including my personal favourite of the 962 Group C racecar that won Le Mans back in 1986/87, the Porsche 911 GT1 and the modern day 919 Hybrid of 2015. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Contents Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail Road-going versions are included too, with the lightweight classic 718 RS Spyder and modern day 911 GT3 RS being the picks for most people of what is on offer. Giving credit where it is due, the Cayman GT4 is meant to be a mighty little motor in its own right if the automotive press are anything to go by. Still languishing behind though are the console players on PS4 and Xbox One, who are still waiting for the first Porsche pack to become available. Shouldn't be too long now however as a blog post earlier this month specified that it was coming for them in November. Don't think many (probably being kind here) would have guessed that the PC would have two packs before console got even one though. Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume II is now available on Steam for PC. Don’t forget that you can buy the Porsche Season Pass (also available on console) and enjoy a saving of 28% on buying the three packs individually. 16. Pure Porsche Excellence With a week to go until Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume 2 is released for the PC version of Assetto Corsa, Marco Massarutto has been at it again in just casually dropping images of some of the contents of the pack on his own Facebook page. The first Porsche pack was quite something to behold when images were shown of it before its release but these latest shots are on another level due to the cars that are in them. Real Porsche pedigree is on display with the 911 GT1, 919 Hybrid 2015, 911 GT3 RS and the classic 718 Spyder RS all getting their own images but the one that really catches your attention – or at least it did mine – is the group shot of the 3 racecars of the 911 GT1, 919 Hybrid 2015 and the 962c all together on track. This image alone will sell the game to people as that is like a holy trinity in itself. Two cars are missing from these showings though: the 718 Boxster S and the Cayman GT4, however we get the feeling that they will grace us with their presence in not too long if past showcases is anything to go by. UPDATE://1 - Marco posted this brilliant shot of the 718 Spyder RS and the 718 Boxster S side-by-side. Quite a difference in size in the more than 50 years between them. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 2 Contents Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail The PS4 and Xbox One are still waiting for Porsche Pack Volume 1 and it is coming but wow it would be mighty annoying to have the second Porsche pack drop before the console even gets the first. Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume II is due to release on November 22ndvia Steam for PC. Don’t forget that you can buy the Porsche Season Pass (also available on console) and enjoy a saving of 28% on buying the three packs individually. 17. Assetto Corsa Will Get Private Lobbies After all the delays that the console version of Assetto Corsa experienced, you would have honestly expected Kunos Simulazioni to realise that certain features such as Private Lobbies and the use of purchased content online to be obvious ones to have. This was not the case though, as for whatever reason these were left out. Being a small team we can of course allow them some sway in this matter but just looking on their official channels you can see that the lack of Private Lobbies is probably the most often raised criticism. And rightly so, after all many a racing game has come and gone and given players the ability to set up their own lobby, where like-minded racers or friends can join without the worry that some random is going to cause trouble or disruption. It also allows for leagues and championships which the more hardcore of the racing community are very fond of. Then there is being able to use your purchased DLC online, I mean come on this should be common sense should it not? A bad start can tar a title and turn people away indefinitely and the only way to bring it back in front of them is for those who are still playing to show that the game is vastly improved over what it was. Naturally, this takes the support of the developers to give these people a reason to keep playing in order to exhibit the changes but it can be done, just look at DRIVECLUB after all. Incredibly, as we approach the proposed release date of Porsche Pack Volume 2, the consoles still do not have Volume 1. There is no release date even hinted at yet and so those on console will just have to keep waiting until a date is officially revealed. Porsche Pack Volume 1 Porsche 911 Carrera S Porsche 918 Spyder Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 Porsche 718 Cayman S Porsche 917/30 Spyder Porsche 935/78 'Moby Dick' Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Just like the PC saw last month, the console update (Version 1.09) that will accompany the pack will include the Porsche Panamera G2 Turbo as well as the historic Silverstone circuit for free. 18. Can Never Have Too Much Alfa The Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio (just rolls off the tongue) is coming to Assetto Corsa in 2017, Marco Massarutto has revealed. Posting the news as a way to cheer up everyone in the world, he shared the news on his Facebook page about the latest piece of metal to be officially licensed for the game. Not only an aggressive beauty to look at, the Alfa GQ has a powerplant underneath its bonnet/hood that was born to sit there and is in fact derived from the Ferrari California. Producing a whopping 505bhp from the 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6, this engine propels the Italian marque's answer to the BMW M3 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 3.9 seconds and carries it on towards a top speed of 307 km/h (190mph), and all from the rear wheels. Alfa Romeo are already in the game so it is not as if this announcement is a total surprise but hearing that Kunos are still signing up new cars is good to hear and should provide some assurance to its playerbase that support, is still very much on the agenda into the new year. One thing that can easily be deduced from all the media and reviews of this car is, that it is a lot of fun and a real drivers car. Maybe not having the nimbleness in the steering as a BMW but still on par with what BMW and their M division have been kicking out for so long. When you look at it this way, what Alfa Romeo have achieved with this car is quite remarkable.
  19. Porsche Now Available for Assetto Corsa In what has been a long and somewhat agonising wait since the reveal that Porsche would be coming to Assetto Corsa, the day of it actually happening for players has finally arrived! From today PC players can purchase Porsche Pack Volume 1 on Steam. Those looking to snap up all of the Porsche offerings throughout the three packs should really look into the Season Pass as it too is set at a very good price and delivers a proper saving compared to the more typical examples out there. Accompanying the content drop Kunos have released a smartly produced trailer, featuring the different models doing what they do best and of course incorporating some slow-motion action to really hammer home those acclaimed physics the title is known for. It’s been 12-years (!) since we have had a developer actually able to use the Porsche license without needing to go through Electronic Arts in some way, and it is about damn time too. EA basically squandered the exclusive agreement they had for too long and it is good to see a team – a small team remember – be the one to use Porsche as it should have been done for so much of that time. Assetto Corsa – Porsche Pack Volume 1 Porsche 911 Carrera S Porsche 918 Spyder Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 Porsche 718 Cayman S Porsche 917/30 Spyder Porsche 935/78 'Moby Dick' Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport The Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Vol.1 is available now on Steam for PC and coming in November for PS4 and Xbox One. Assetto Corsa v1.9 Update – Free Panamera & Historic Silverstone! As if providing the first Porsche Pack wasn’t enough to fill the day there also comes the new update of version 1.9. This new update isn’t just the usual collection of bug fixes and improvements, though naturally these are a part of it. Version 1.9 brings with it the first of the 3 free Porsches to come, the Panamera G2, along with a new Historic 60s Silverstone track. And to add to the list of famous motoring brands who want to feature in AC, a small but nice detail change will see your virtual racer kitted out in official Sparco driver suits and gloves. UPDATE://1 - Images of the free Porsche Panamera and Historic Silverstone track added. Another notable mention is that the audio department has received some really nice updates, with the team having reworked the sounds in many areas: the development team has reworked FMod interaction within the game, optimizing memory and CPU usage and improving the entire sfx engine, resulting in a much better sound environment and immersion - Assetto Corsa forums The full list of what comes with v1.9 can be found below: Assetto Corsa – v1.9 Changelog - New Porsche 991 Carrera S (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche 918 Spyder (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche 718 Cayman S (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche 917/30 CanAm 1973 (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974 (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche 935/78 Moby Dick 1978 (Porsche Pack #1 DLC) - New Porsche Panamera G2 Turbo - New Silverstone 1967 historic track - Added session time/laps on the top of the screen (laps are the leader ones) - Now race is over when the car complete its lap and the leader has finished his last one - Added dynamic ARB - Fixed possible collision still active on race restart - Added ERS recharge digital display - Improved precision on all digital leds - GT3 cars use tire model v10. - Fixed TC sound distortion when triggered for the first time - New camber grip variation formula (Thank You Nao!) - Simplified DirectX 11 initialization - Added official "Sparco" license to Assetto Corsa - Added Ballast system through Ballast App (single player only) - Added new F9 vertical layouts - Added new driver + crew texture system - Added new personal driver texture - Fixed virtual mirrors rendered when not necessary - Fixed Kers and ERS able to rev in neutral and reverse gear and overrev the engine - Improved FFB App UI, so label is readable by VR users - Added multiplayer splits - Added Time Table leaderboard mode: this includes realtime splits and delta - Added Fmod optimizations - Added Anti-Wrecker protection - Fixed AI "flapping" DRS in traffic - Improved autoshifter - Improved laptimes board by adding splits and tyre compound - Fixed backfire animation freezing after session change - Fixed leaderboard history in multiplayer - Added voting spam protection - horizon locked view removed from Bumper camera - Delta App reviewed - Fixed possible flickering in case of engine stall - Added backfire animation to Zonda R - python new functions and members - getCarTyreCompound(carid) - Tyre blister and grain are now tied to the "Wear" settings and not "Damage". Wear=0 will turn off graining and blistering simulation - Fmod updated to 1.08.12 - Updated SDK for modders - Removed reverb snapshot in the Fmod project - General audio engine code cleaning and bug fixing - Vastly improved Fmod resource usage - Voice stealing is now properly managed by code, so the sound mods will follow the same behaviour of the original sound banks - Fixed listener priority for cars in pits. They don't steal the priority anymore - Amount of events instances are now properly limited in order to keep proper volume range and overall performace improvement - Overall volume balance - 7.1 surround should now work as expected (on all platforms) - Fixed audio initialization pop when the session starts - Stereo imaging now works as expected - Fixed ambience sound affected by reverb zones - Reworked reverb logic: when triggered onboard, the reverb is given by the exterior engine - Reworked distance attenuations for enhanced experience (e.g. engine_int raised to 350 meters) - Reworked wind curves: now the wind volume is related to the air pressure (i.e. player car will hear turbulence when in draft and AP value goes below 1.00) - Reworked surfaces audio curves - Reworked skids logic - Fixed skids positional sound - New exterior skids sound - Set tyre skid entry point to 100 in audio.ini (set what you prefer in the audio options) - Reworked code management for traction control and limiter events - Tweaked wind and limiter sound emitter position in dashboard camera - Audio compressor on engine_ext event now works as expected when many cars are involved - Surfaces, crashes and skids are now properly audible in chase and track cameras - Opponents volume now honours F1 cameras. This fixes stuttering when a surface event is triggered for the first time and should limit "digital clicks" - Fixed multiplayer opponent surfaces sound when it leaves instantly (e.g acs proces kill/crash) while driving on sand/kerb/etc... - New dirt sound effects - New brake squeal for some "old" cars - Added audio fade when track camera changes - Added [VERSION] section in audio.ini - Removed [LATENCY] section in audio.ini (managed by FMod itself now) and from the GUI - Slightly modified gear grind sound - Fixed wrong listener position for track and car cameras in some situations - added DRL on LaFerrari, Mclaren P1, Nissan 370Z Nismo, Nissan GTR and Ford Mustang - added templates for Porsche Vol. 1 cars - fixed excessive brake light brightness on Ford Mustang - minor graphics fixes on Triple Pack cars - [Modding] added harvest series function in digital_instruments [KERS_RECHARGE_SERIE] - [Modding] added 918 Spyder-style full power usage series function in digital_instruments [POWER_918] - Added PACKER_RANGE_HF and PACKER_RANGE_HR for heave springs packer settings in setup.ini - Packers now use bump stop rates Source: Assetto Corsa forums UPDATE://1 - Posted October 26th, 2016 @ 19:00 pm GMT
  20. Steaming Ahead With Next Porsche Pack Info The first Porsche Pack for Assetto Corsa isn’t even out yet but through another appearance on Steam it is likely we may know the content of not only the next pack but all of them, including their release dates! Brought to our attention by tduck member Kelvjy (cheers ears!) and found on the official Assetto Corsa forums, it looks like content updates have been posted to Steam detailing what their intended contents will be, together with 'work in progress' renders of the models to come. Posted along with their intended release dates, the two packs contain more iconic Porsche machinery such as the ludicrous 962c and the modern day track monster of the 911 GT3 RS. In what would have been a nice surprise, Porsche Pack Volume 2, listed with a release date of November 22nd, will again include 7 models but in 9 configurations as the 718 Boxster and 962c come in two versions as seen below. Porsche Pack Volume II – Contents (non-confirmed) Porsche 911 GT3 RS Porsche 718 Spyder RS Porsche Cayman GT4 Porsche 718 Boxster S Manual Transmission Porsche 718 Boxster S PDK Porsche 919 Hybrid 2015 Porsche 911 GT1 Porsche 962c Long Tail Porsche 962c Short Tail To end the year off, the Porsche Pack Volume 3 is down for December 20th and puts more of an emphasis on the racing pedigree of the famous marque. Featuring 7 models, the focus on modern day racing cars is clear with the inclusion of the entire 991 GT3 racing line and the latest Le Mans-winning 919 Hybrid. Porsche racing isn’t just about the now and this is shown no better than with the incorporation of another racing legend, the 917 K and the perhaps lesser-known 908 Lang-Heck. The last of the three packs is also set to deliver one of the most wanted road cars that Porsche offers today. Even if you have the money for it there is no guarantee that you will get one. Produced in only 1000 units, the 911 R harks back to the older philosophy of it being all about the car, driver and the open road. Not so much a track-attack car but one for hitting everyday roads and just enjoying the thrill that driving delivers. How this will and can be put across in the game is something that will be interesting to see. Porsche Pack Volume III – Contents (non-confirmed) Porsche 911 GT3 Cup 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR 2017 Porsche 911 GT3 R 2015 Porsche 919 Hybrid 2016 Porsche 908 LH Porsche 917 K Porsche 911 R As pointed out by some however, there are some favourites missing such as the Carrera GT and 959 but with a case like this there is always going to be something missing when you don’t have 100% of the back catalogue being distributed. Personally I am impressed with their selections and the configurations being included too. It seems a shame that this has happened and as much as Kunos Simulazioni would love to make it all go away, that is just not going to happen and it is all out there. We are still missing some images of those from Porsche Pack Volume 3 but those will come in time with the more typical teasing that AC and especially Marco Massarutto has become well versed in. Remember though, all of this is subject to change and the contents could be moved, replaced or even removed entirely as nothing has been officially confirmed by Kunos. Either way, they certainly do have some sweet offerings available to tide players over into the new year. 21. We are now only days away from the first Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack becoming available and the media drops from Kunos just keep on coming. On their official Facebook they appear to be in the swing of showing videos and images of each Porsche model that will be included in the pack, however as spotted by top sim-racing outfit Inside Sim Racing, they may have had a bit of a jump start in releasing a collection of images early on the Assetto Corsa Steam page. A number of official images went up showcasing the different models that will be included in the Volume 1 DLC. Since taken down, a number of outlets managed to snag the images before they were removed. The images show nothing new, just better views of the vehicles to entice players to pick up the pack itself or splurge for the very reasonably priced Porsche Season Pack that entitles buyers to all 3 packs for an actual notable discount. Still no word on the PS4 and Xbox One releases but it is hopeful that they will not follow too long after the PC which will see the pack become available on Steam from this Tuesday, October 25th. 22. Assetto Corsa - Porsche Pack 1 After so many months of constant teasing, general winking smilies and a blurred group shot from Marco Massarutto on his Facebook, a release for the first Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack is known!! Coming on October 25th to Steam and shortly afterwards on PS4 and Xbox One - whenever Sony and Microsoft approve it - the first of the much-anticipated Porsche packs will contain 7 top models from those of today and yesteryear. Purchasers of the pack will be able to sample in the delights of the legend that is the iconic 911, in the manner of how it is available today, to the absolutely insane 917/30 Can-Am racer. And that purchase is incredibly reasonable too, as the pack itself will set players back a respectable sum of only 6.99 EUR across all platforms. I've said this before and it's true, it would have been so easy for Kunos Simulazioni to overcharge for the pack and it is refreshing to see a developer price their content at a value more befitting of what is being provided to that of which came with the game originally. In fact they even go one step further, and are offering a Season Pack for the 3 Porsche Packs at a discounted price of only 15 EUR, a 28% saving on buying them all separately. For someone who is not a fan of DLC at stupid prices I cannot help but applaud Kunos for this approach and hope that it is hugely rewarded by the playerbase. Porsche Pack Volume 1 - Contents 911 Carrera S 935 Moby Dick 918 Spyder Cayman GT4 Clubsport 718 Cayman S 917/30 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 1974 And even for those out there who don’t buy DLC, they will still get a chance to partake in the Porsche party because of the three models that are coming for FREE. And again because of Mr Massarutto, we know that the first of these to come will be the Panamera.
  23. Porsche Pack Volume 1 An image has been posted showing what will come in the first Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack and at first glance it’s a bit hard to see what’s so good about it. Not because the pack is crap or anything, no not at all, but because the vehicles in the image posted by Marco Massarutto on his own Facebook are all lined-up together and softly blurred, making us have to work a little to figure out what they are. Enthusiasts or even a quick Google search of ‘Porsche’ and ‘Porsche – because – racecar' will no doubt give evidence to fairly easily help identify the legends and the current hero hypercar of the Stuttgart based automaker. One Hypercar, two GT cars, one GTR car, three historical race cars. To make everyone happy. - Marco Massarutto via Facebook What is a bit more difficult is deciphering the more known shapes that are common to the models of today. However with a bit of image-enhancing CSI style (with everything being done making a beep of course) I was able to enhance the image about 1.7% which aided me better in being able to be approximately 97.999999% DNA matc... sure of my findings about the cars being shown. Looking at the image and starting at the left: the first car is quite clearly a Porsche 935/78 'Moby Dick' in Momo Kreepy Krauly colours whereas the second car is more modern and due to the blue sticker on the front and yellow markings on the rear quarter it is assuredly the Cayman GT4 Clubsport. The third car is a bit of a tough one, it certainly looks to be a 911 (991.2) and we do know from previous images that this is forthcoming and it obviously makes sense for Porsche to want one of their modern icons to be featured so this is what I am going with. Phwoar is the case for four as it is no doubt the 918 Spyder hypercar, five is so much the same as #3 however it is likely a 718 but whether that is of a Cayman or Boxster I just cannot be completely sure of. It might even be the road-going Cayman GT4 as this is seen in the original announcement trailer above. Six is a Porschephile's heaven as it is the legend that is the Carrera RSR 3.0, this thing should be a barrel (roll?) load of fun due to its feisty handling, and last but certainly in no way at all least is the crazy looking 917/30 Can-Am racer. So for the tl;dr of you here is my belief of what the first of the two three packs will contain: Assetto Corsa Porsche Pack Volume 1 Going from left to right. Porsche 935/78 ‘Moby Dick’ Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Porsche 911 Carrera S (991.2) Porsche 918 Spyder Porsche Cayman/Boxster 718/Cayman GT4 (not sure between these) Porsche 911 Carrera RSR 3.0 Porsche 917/30 And don't forget the free Cayenne, Macan and Panamera which were announced too!
  24. Assetto Corsa Console Pre-order Bonus DLC & JDM Packs The pre-order bonus DLC and ‘Japanese Pack’ is heading to Assetto Corsa on PlayStation 4 and (maybe) the Xbox One this week. Well at least it looks that way as the EU PS blog has the items listed in their coming this week post whereas the Microsoft Store has a couple of the items available to view on their store with only one showing the same date of release as that of Sony. The ‘Prestige Pack’ is listed as coming to PS4 October 6th with the ‘Japanese Pack’ and ‘Performance Pack’ due the following day on October 7th. Xbox One is, at this time only showing the Prestige with a date of October 7th. The ‘Performance Pack’ and ‘Prestige Pack’ were available as a pre-order bonus when you ordered the game from certain retailers and entitled the player to download three vehicles with the Performance and nine with the Prestige. As both of these packs look like they will be up for purchase, make sure to realise that the Prestige contains an extra SIX cars on top of the THREE that make up the Performance Pack. UPDATE://1 - From a posting made on the official Assetto Corsa forums it does appear that both PS4 and Xbox One will receive these packs this week and that the 'Prestige Pack' will be the main one available to buy from their respective stores. Players who pre-ordered and received the three-car 'Performance Pack' as a bonus will be able to take advantage of a "Performance Upgrade" option enabling them to grab the remaining six cars that they do not have. Please note: if you pre-ordered Assetto Corsa then you will be able to buy the remaining 6 cars from the Prestige pack in the Performance Upgrade pack which launches tomorrow too! - official Assetto Corsa forum I repeat: Do not buy both the Performance and Prestige Pack as you will be buying the same content twice due to the cars in the first pack also being included in the other. Performance Pack – Content The below three vehicles are included in the Prestige Pack too! 25. Free Porsche! The team behind Assetto Corsa continue to tease about the upcoming Porsche pack and if there is one word we hardly ever hear in respect to downloadable ‘Porsche’ content, it is ‘free’. With Kunos Simulazioni though, this is in fact what is happening as by way of Marco Massarutto, the Licensing Manager at Kunos responding to a question on twitter last week, it has been revealed that there will be a Porsche Panamera, Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Macan given away at no cost! https://twitter.com/Markus72k/status/780301766638374912 If above not available click for screencap Of course there will be some who will see this trio as not being true Porsches but they are certainly some of the most popular and best selling. And as PC players have known for a while and those on console have recently found out, big heavy vehicles like the Maserati Levante SUV can be quite fun to toss around at high speeds. The Porsche pack is very likely to be out this month (October) and will contain a number of cars not often seen in games along with the more common beetles.
