  3. Hello everyone! I thought about whether someone once transferred a map from TDU to ETS 2? If not, how realistic is it to do so? The map in TDU is very large and cool, interesting road junctions, routes, detail and size of Honolulu, industrial area, airport and so on. For ETC 2 it was very cool!   4. I just got TDU Platinum up and working and I've been enjoying it but every 10 minutes or so, the framerate just drops dramatically to eventually like 1FPS, and then it crashes. I have a gaming laptop with a I7-9750H (6C, 12T) with a RTX 2060 and 16GB RAM, which should be more than ample to run TDU Platinum. Anybody know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? Also note: Before I got Platinum, I had the 1.66A Patch with the Megapack and I didn't experience any FPS issues or stutters.

  7. So I recently found my TDU 1 box and decided to try it again. Sadly the CD was trashed so I found the game files on the internet. I disabled everything related to SecuRom, input my Product Key and went to the Tutorial. My car won't move. It can turn and brake, but the acceleration doesn't work no matter what button I assign to it. What can cause that? How do I fix it? I searched the web but it only gave me solutions for TDU2.
  8. Today, we got the announcement that TDU3, or better said, Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown is actually a thing. It's not a rumor anymore! TDU is back on the field! It was announced today, at Nacon Connection livestream, their first live event they did, it featured a couple of games they are working on, but really, what we all have been waiting for was some news for TDU3. And we got it in a form of a teaser and information presented by Alain Jarniou, Creative Director at KT Racing Studio and a former TDU1 and TDU2 dev.   9. Greetings! Over the past week i've learned myself how to make sound mods for TDU and so will you! Anyway let's start with few basics tools you're gonna need; 1. Sony Vegas 17 (If you don't have legal copy, you can always get a free trial which lasts for 30 days, or you can crack it) 2. TDUMT (Test Drive Unlimited Modding Tools) 3. Samples from Video Games! I RECOMMEND GETTING SAMPLES FROM GAMES SUCH AS GRID, DIRT, GTR2, NFS, FORZA etc.. I'M USING SAMPLES FROM GTR2 FROM SIMBIN! BEFORE YOU DO ANY MODDING, PLEASE DO A BACKUP! Before we even start doing any modding itself. We have to be sure what audio.bnk are gonna modify today's example is LP720_Cpe_audio Now let's begin: PAGE 1: 1. Open TDUMT program and pick File Browser. 2. After you picked File Browser. On the left side of your screen you're gonna see a yellow file named Sound. As soon you click on it you will see few files but the one you're looking for is Vehicules. 3. We found the LP720_Cpe_audio in the program. Now we're gonna do a New Folder on Desktop and you can name it however you like. Let's call it 720 for our example. Then we will CTRL + A everything and click Extract... to your 720 Folder on your Desktop. NOW I'M GONNA TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT THE CarVSTConfig.xmb FILE. CarVSTConfig.xmb file is a coded file from Atari that regulates on what RPM the sounds activate in-game. I do NOT recommend messing with the file itself as it can break the whole sound. 4. Now that you extracted all your files to your 720 Folder. Now we have to check how long are the samples. For this example i will use Lambomurci_onhigh file. Now Right Click --> Properties --> Details and check Length. As you can see our file is 00:00:05 long which means it's a 5 second loop. 5. After we know how long the sample is we can now open Sony Vegas 17! PAGE 2: AUDIO EDITING SECTION!! TDU Recommend .WAV format is 177 Kbps, 44.100 Hz, 4 Bit, Mono, ADPCM. We can get that easily with these steps. 1. Open Sony Vegas 17. 2. Drag and Drop the Lambomurci_onhigh to the Editing Section so we can access Render As... options. 3. On top left you will see a tab called File. After you clicked on it. Click Render As... 4. As soon you click Render As... tab, you will be greeted with a rendering section. 5. Now find the Wave (Microsoft) tab and click Default Template. 6. After you clicked Default Template you can notice that you can notice that a new tab lighted up under the name Customize Template, click on the tab. 7. After you clicked on the Customize Template tab, you have to change the Format from PCM (uncompressed) to Microsoft ADPCM. 8. After you did that now we have to pick correct Attributes. We have to find 44,100 kHz, 4 Bit, Mono. Once you find it, click on it and then click OK. And we have our Template finished under the name Default Template (*) P.S YOU CAN ALSO SAVE THE TEMPLATE BY CLICKING ON THE STAR ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE TEMPLATE BY CLICKING FILTERS OFF --> SHOW FAVORITES ONLY NOW LET'S GET TO THE REAL DEAL OF SOUND MODDING! PAGE 3: 1. Firstly let's put Lambomurci_onhigh on the 1st channel in Sony Vegas, then we put the sample to 2nd channel 2. As you can see that 2nd channel sample is too long. If the sample is too long the game cannot read the file and it won't work! So what we have to do is trim the to the lenght of the original TDU sample 3. Once you're done trimming the 2nd channel. Now you can delete the 1st channel and export the sound under the name Lambomurci_onhigh on 177 Kbps, 44.100 Hz, 4 Bit, Mono, ADPCM format P.S KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU HAVE TO REPEAT PAGE 3 FOR EACH SOUND YOU HAVE! SUCH AS; -idle -onlow -onmid -onhigh -offlow -offmid -offhigh -starter After you done with all the sounds in correct lenght and format now it's time to import the sounds back to LP720_Cpe_audio.bnk file PAGE 4: 1. Open TDUMT program and pick File Browser. 2. After you picked File Browser. On the left side of your screen you're gonna see a yellow file named Sound. As soon you click on it you will see few files but the one you're looking for is Vehicules. 3. Find your LP720_Cpe_audio.bnk file and find the tab named Replace and click Keep Name... 4. Now it's gonna ask you to find the Lambomurci_onhigh file 5. Repeat for every file 6. Once you're done replacing every file. Congrats, you've made yourself a sound mod!
  10. Hello guys! I was trying to find a car list for TDU NATAN Edition, a modpack that has 1500 cars with very varying quality.... But i couldn't find any, so i decided to make my own. The list is really big as it took me probably an hour and a half to get all cars in the dealerships which is already around 300 probably. But also because i didn't sort the list by car manufacterer names first so i had to do it later. A few cars in this list don't actually exist, a few are TDU1 custom and some others i have no idea. For example this "Gaz Saiber" i couldn't find anything for it, maybe it's just a misspelling. This list isn't 100% accurate. There are likely a few cars that i didn't add from the game for whatever reason. Download the list.txt file for a more accurate list. Let's get to the list now. Cars marked with (MB) are available in motorbike dealerships only. This will be the changelog for when a new update comes t1.1 - Added Classic Cars from the southwest Oahu Cars (Airport) Dealership, and all conversions from the Bugatti Veyron and Lotus Elise R t1.2 - Added all the Lamborghinis (So far....) t1.3 - Added all the Ferraris (So far..) t1.4 - Added all Russian cars (So far), and now versions are correct t1.5 - Added all south US Classic and nissan dealership car conversions t1.6 - Added most Mercedes conversions t1.7 - Added a lot of conversions in Honolulu t1.8 - Added Chevrolet/Saturn and Ford dealer Honolulu conversions, changed update numbers and fixed a few things t1.9 - Changed update numbers again and added the rest of the Honolulu conversions t2.0 - BMW and a few other nearby dealer conversions added t2.1 - Added all car conversions west of Honolulu t2.2 - Added all car conversions east of Honolulu, and added conversions to some brands missing them here t2.3 - Added conversions from the Chrysler dealership t2.4 - Added conversions from northeast VW dealership, and added Yamaha t2.5 - Pagani and the rest of the northeast dealerships t2.6 - RUF and European Classics conversions added t2.7 - Northwest US Muscles dealer conversions t2.8 - Added all conversions AND cars from the northwest british independents dealership because apparently i completely skipped over that dealership when making the list, updates say conversions now t2.9 - Added northwest BMW Dealership Conversions t3.0 - Northwest-er US Muscle Dealer Conversions t3.1 - Lexus and northwest Audi Dealership Conversions t3.2 - Added (south)western Cadillac, Oahu Cars, Alfa and Japanese Dealership Conversions t3.3 - Added Southern McLaren and middle European Dealership Conversions t3.4 - Added all motorcycles and conversions from cars in motorcycle dealerships.   11. This is a newly revised weathercycle for TDU1. First to mention that in the west, the sun goes down, and again rising in the east. Yes, exactly, this of course means that a night mode is included. The streets and buildings are still good to see. It is a 6 day cycle in which every day is individually designed. The color of the sun, the nebula, the clouds, and their reflections on the car, change depending on the time of day and weather conditions. This concerns also the light which shines inside the interior. This means that the amature slightly shimmers in the corresponding color of the sun or of the clouds, it depends, what applies also for street lighting. The sun remains usually white to yellow in the evening, as the clouds appear of that type sunorange, depending on humidity and temperature. benefits: sunset in the West, sunrise in the East, sun color changes depending on the time of day, car interiors and reflecting parts outside shine gently according to the color of the Sun, brilliance and sharpness of the reflections on the carpaint change relative to time ( morning dew on the paint reduces the sharpness for example ), correct colors of weather mirroring in the windows, night with dark blue sky ( roads and buildings are good to see what makes the whole thing driveable ), add : no shadow bug anymore, sunrays, windspeed set lower at all times, so powercables and trees are not swinging too much anymore, this way performance is better too, the size of the sun is a bit bigger in the morning and evening, 6 day cycle with 8 times ( sunrise, morning, early midday, late midday, afternoon, evening, young night, late night ) differently designed , works with and without hdr activated , colour of shining from the road corresponds to the time of day, since 20.12.2012 : you can choose between 4 glowmodes for the hdr mode, ( Starglow, Normalglow, Everyglow, and Noglow ), car colours are not too yellow anymore, no clean white, i call it "romantic white" :-) , all arround adjusted colours ( fog, roads, grass, trees, sky, clouds ) no comiclike ducktales look anymore, sorry for the evenings in hdr, the clouds are too bright, it is like that cause it was when i wanted to release this update on a special cool date like 20.12.2012 . In not before 100 years possible again ! ( fixed in an update 13.04.2013 ) I continue this mod as i know some things don't look as good as wanted, hehe. A nice example of what you can expect is, orange sunrise, sunyellow morning, cyan blue lunch with slightly sunyellow clouds going over in a light blue day with white clouds azure to deep purple with sunnyorange to darkorange clouds before it is night then. I take something back from my words in the readme. You need all data from the download. Otherwise the weather will be too bright. TDU said this month not to be online available anymore. Due to this, I am just saying, i would pay for playing TDU monthly. This edition is dedicated to all who are well disposed towards me, and those who just know that TDU1, from a riding point of view, still has much more to offer than the second part. I hope that this weather will help and be my part of keeping this game alive. The community deserves it to be able to play online at least as a paytoplay version, although sometimes rough on Atari is scolded. Well, enough written. Working in high and low resolution. Prerelease, because only working for normal glow yet. Including a slightly adjusted sunmodel, wich is smoother, but bright and powerful. Street looks wet now at rainy day. Previous, by my mod caused, yellowish tone of the street, dirt, grass and trees, at midday, is gone, and they, are lightened up a bit. I adjusted the fx a bit, so reflections on the cars look even more beautiful ... from my point of view they do. For faster showing of all days and nights, open weatherdesc.ini , and set timescale to 213, then save, not safe as, because otherwise editor changes fileformat. Tell me what you, or don't like in it. Lot of fun guys and girls ;-) . Update, internal view weather, only for 4 day version with moon, 30.06.2015 . ( The weather outside is now visible from inside buros, cartraders, houses, and flats also. ) I've yet got to do a special night weather for these places. This is coming in another update.
