  1. This is a newly revised weathercycle for TDU1. First to mention that in the west, the sun goes down, and again rising in the east. Yes, exactly, this of course means that a night mode is included. The streets and buildings are still good to see. It is a 6 day cycle in which every day is individually designed. The color of the sun, the nebula, the clouds, and their reflections on the car, change depending on the time of day and weather conditions. This concerns also the light which shines inside the interior. This means that the amature slightly shimmers in the corresponding color of the sun or of the clouds, it depends, what applies also for street lighting. The sun remains usually white to yellow in the evening, as the clouds appear of that type sunorange, depending on humidity and temperature. benefits: sunset in the West, sunrise in the East, sun color changes depending on the time of day, car interiors and reflecting parts outside shine gently according to the color of the Sun, brilliance and sharpness of the reflections on the carpaint change relative to time ( morning dew on the paint reduces the sharpness for example ), correct colors of weather mirroring in the windows, night with dark blue sky ( roads and buildings are good to see what makes the whole thing driveable ), add : no shadow bug anymore, sunrays, windspeed set lower at all times, so powercables and trees are not swinging too much anymore, this way performance is better too, the size of the sun is a bit bigger in the morning and evening, 6 day cycle with 8 times ( sunrise, morning, early midday, late midday, afternoon, evening, young night, late night ) differently designed , works with and without hdr activated , colour of shining from the road corresponds to the time of day, since 20.12.2012 : you can choose between 4 glowmodes for the hdr mode, ( Starglow, Normalglow, Everyglow, and Noglow ), car colours are not too yellow anymore, no clean white, i call it "romantic white" :-) , all arround adjusted colours ( fog, roads, grass, trees, sky, clouds ) no comiclike ducktales look anymore, sorry for the evenings in hdr, the clouds are too bright, it is like that cause it was when i wanted to release this update on a special cool date like 20.12.2012 . In not before 100 years possible again ! ( fixed in an update 13.04.2013 ) I continue this mod as i know some things don't look as good as wanted, hehe. A nice example of what you can expect is, orange sunrise, sunyellow morning, cyan blue lunch with slightly sunyellow clouds going over in a light blue day with white clouds azure to deep purple with sunnyorange to darkorange clouds before it is night then. I take something back from my words in the readme. You need all data from the download. Otherwise the weather will be too bright. TDU said this month not to be online available anymore. Due to this, I am just saying, i would pay for playing TDU monthly. This edition is dedicated to all who are well disposed towards me, and those who just know that TDU1, from a riding point of view, still has much more to offer than the second part. I hope that this weather will help and be my part of keeping this game alive. The community deserves it to be able to play online at least as a paytoplay version, although sometimes rough on Atari is scolded. Well, enough written.     A redux version of a mod I posted on the Discord originally. Uploaded to TurboDuck for permanence. This mod reduces all transmission whine (except from reversing) by ~50% normally, or ~80% for the quieter option. It's at a volume that's still audible, but not louder than the engine audio. The main version is recommended since the quieter version can barely be heard. Preview (of the main version) If I messed something up, please report it. The quieter version was untested, and I don't use this mod when I play.

  10. i need help increasing the rev limit in some cars , lets say i go to tdupe i choose a car and then i see it has a rev limit of 7500 thats too low for 800 hp that the car has its just revs so fast and i lose alot of time shifting gears so i changed the rev limit to 9500 i click save i go to the game but when i drive the car the rev limit stays the same and also does some weird noise when it rev hits any comment will be greatly appreciated

  13. I am very sorry if this is on the wrong thread. If possible, the thread can be moved to the right place. Hello everyone. So I have been trying to install TDU to play the Platinum mod for it. It worked perfectly until the setup actually started installing the game, it starts and then an error message pops-up: "Incorrect Function" After closing this message, the setup closes and instantly shows a screen where it says: "The installer was interrupted before Test Drive Unlimited could be completely installed." Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thank you in advance.
  14. I just got a new 64 Bit PC and when I launch TDU a floating box comes up on the screen saying input not supported if it helps at all I am using a DVI cable
  15. Hey, as you noticed: Only Camera Hack V1 works with Dlc 2. And i want a camera hack like V3.1, which has FOV ;) Here you can see a screenshot out of V3.1. (Increase Fov, Decrease Fov). Now comes my question. Can someone make a tool which has this option. With this option you are able to feel the speed and it's really fun to drive 250. Cheers!

  18. im thinking, why TDU2 is mega Overrated than the Predecessor, TDU 1? TDU 1 Is a Great game but, TDU 2 is more, but, need more things, mods and a online mode, but have bad things, like the useless tuning, and the good thing, is the decals shop, but, cars are short and too much ferrari, maybe a TDU 2 Platinum can fix, anyway, why tdu2 is overrated? i knoww TDU 1 have like a 800+ cars, but, TDU2 Need a Oportunity....
  19. Sounding very nice. From bottom to top fitting now. Not getting flat anymore in high rev range. New onlow. Sound is reving up to 8200 rpm. So if you put it into a car, originally having a rev range up to 8000 rpm, it'll sound like that. Again updated 10.05.2015 .   23. In general, for racing games, traffic is bad, useless thing. Drivers to maneuver between the cars, stall or even lose control of driving. But for a gaming world the number of traffic is low. This is especially felt in the urban environment. Streets and roads are deserted, and there are no pedestrians. Very boring and depressing atmosphere. Is there any way to increase the number of traffic in the game? Maybe the settings file? Which and how?

In the event that you had accounts on TDU World and TurboDuck.net before (based on email address), these have been automatically merged for you.
