Looking at this from the more narrow perspective of A+++ game development. For example, if new games didn't work on XP (at all), would you be screwed? Or if new games only worked on Windows 64-bit (given that new consoles are similar to 64-bit PC architecture this could be a realistic possibility) would you have to upgrade? I've got Windows 8.1 Pro Media Centre x64 on my gaming PC, prior to that I had Windows 7 Ultimate x64, and before that I had Vista Ultimate x64, so I've been on the x64 train for quite a while now.

I bought TDU 2 in the steam sale, it finished installing and then it said "failed to contact key server", someone from the group I'm in on Facebook said to go to the UpLauncher, I clicked on it and it said that the game was not installed properly, I tried reinstalling the game and the same things are happening, what do I do now?

Hey guys. Yesterday I tried to unpack the game via extractor tool.I've run .bat then it did the operation after 30 mins without any problems but after I run the game from Knyazev's launcher, I realized DLC2 vehicles wasn't there & the I found out the game was the Russian version by looking .big files. So, clearly my question is if it's possible to unpack "Russian" version of TDU2? Thanx

well, hi at first, I have a little... "Problem". I was on version "DLC2 build 0.25" or 0.23, don´t remember, and unpacked my game. now what version do i have? is it still the DLC2 or is it Exploration Pack again? how do i find out my version number? thanks for your help :)
