Replaces Test Drive Unlimited's UI sounds with the sounds from the PS2 port when applicable. For those who want a different soundscape, or want more of the PS2 menu experience. -NOTE- If you use another countdown replacer mod and wish to keep it, you will have to add them to this file with TDUMT. If you don't know how, there's instructions in the Readme. This file contains a version with my Gran Turismo countdown replacer in it. Preview (From a work in progress version. Contains most of the prominent sounds. will make a proper one soon) Sounds replaced: General UI navigation (Item selecion, confirm, decline etc.) General map navigation (Point select, filter tab, waypoint etc.) In-game sounds (GPS popup, countdown, checkpoint) In-game menu sounds Known issues/inconsistencies Some PS2 sounds don't have an equivalent in the 360/PC version, and vice versa. (For example the difficulty/reward popup in the PS2 pre-race menu) Audio sliders use the in-game menu navigation sounds even though they have a separate entry in sounds.ini, so I opted to use the in-game menu SFX over it. If you spot any missing/out of place sounds, feel free to report it. I'm unsure if I'll be able to get some online-exclusive SFX though, if there are any. Recommended mods: Redwave's PS2 menu music. Because TDU PS2 has an awesome soundtrack, and this mod goes hand-in-hand with it.Free- 1 comment

TDU2 Original Vehicle Sound Pack by Frosty These are the original TDU2 sound files from the first official release of the game. NOTE: Not all of these sounds are perfect, some are quiet and others sound off compared to the RPM of the car. Use according to personal preferences. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some vehicles that have noticeably different sounds are: - AC Cobra 427 - Ariel Atom (300 Supercharged & 500 V8) - MOST Aston Martin models (some are very quiet) - Audi TTRS - Bugatti Veyron (all trim levels) - Ford Mustang GT - Koneigsegg CCXR Edition - Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione - Lotus Evora - Nissan GT-R (R35) - RUF RTurbo - RUF RT 12 - RUF RK Spyder - Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI - Volkswagen Golf GTI (Mk6) (feel free to correct me, this is off of the top of my head) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Installation (GAME MUST BE UNPACKED) 1.) Open up your game directory, and go to Euro/Bnk/sound/vehicles 2.) Locate the sound file you want to replace, i.e. Ford Mustang GT would be (mustang_gt_high) 3.) Replace the current file with the one from the original sound pack. DOWNLOAD LINK: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1sqlgeZaDKP6Ls5Cw3sk8MSre0UR3PA8Z?usp=sharing ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below will be some videos of the current patch car sounds vs Patch 1 car sounds. AC Cobra 427: sound is broken after 7500 RPM Ariel Atom 500 V8: Audi TTRS: Bugatti Veyron (all trim levels): Ford Mustang GT: Lotus Evora: Patch 1 sound has messed up rpm Nissan GT-R: RUF (all cars have same sound): Volkswagen Touareg V10 TDI:Free -
View File TDU Lo-fi Soundtrack Replacer Hey there! I created a Soundtrack replacer pack for TDU. The pack contains Lo-fi music. The music has a kinda classy and relaxing feeling. There are still some tracks I need to change. Anyways, enjoy the pack! Instructions: 1.) Unpack the archive with any unpacker you like. (WinRAR, 7zip, ...) 2) Copy and paste the folder you extracted to your TDU Installation Directory. 3) Done! Submitter UltraXen Submitted 05/19/2020 Category Others / UI

Small mod that replaces the "3, 2, 1, Go!" with Gran Turismo's iconic countdown noise. Optionally replaces the "Start your engines" dialog with some Gran Turismo race start jingles. Although it was made for Platinum, it should work with Vanilla as well. Update Preview: Original & GT2 Only Preview: Credits: Polyphony Digital - Countdown noise and start jingle (Gran Turismo, Gran Turismo 2, Gran Turismo 3, Gran Turismo 4)Free- 5 reviews

i get audio at the beginning of the game when the videos play, but after that i dont get any audio. i went into the options and didnt see anywhere to choose between outputs, only volume sliders. anybody know why the game gives audio at the start and then quits? every single audio application works with virtual audio cable as the default device (havent tried any other games) except test drive unlimited. at first i thought maybe it had something to do with internet explorer being open, and maybe the game wouldnt run the audio because internet explorer had it.. well i closed internet explorer and restarted the game but didnt get any audio again.
