TDU Platinum Weekly Challenge Series #1 (Race Events Varies between April 12-19, 2021) Event Duration: Events Vary from Monday, April 12, 2021 at 12:00 PM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) Until Monday, April 19, 2021 at 12:00 PM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) Race #1 (Good for April 12-19, 2021, both start and end at 12:00 PM UTC) "The Pass of Good Hope" (D Car Class Time Trial Race, Rank Pro) Rules: - The Only Car to be used is a Ford Mustang Boss 302 (Car Class D) with any Tuning Upgrade from Ford or Roush Performance. You can buy the specific car on this Ford dealership, on the image below. - Must Win a Gold Cup (First Place) to be accepted for submission. - Traffic must be turned Off in your Game. (You can do this by renaming/deleting/moving the Traffic folder from your installed Test Drive Unlimited Main Folder > Euro > Bnk > Vehicules.) - Normal and Hardcore Mode Times are split and each have their own category of time submissions. - Any Driving Aids, Gearbox and Camera View settings will be allowed to use. Notes: - Participating Players with the Submission of their Best Time will be posted down below, and will be consistently updated. - You can submit as many submissions through screenshots of every attempt provided that the screenshot follows the rules above. - Video uploads of the submission runs are optional. - By the end of the challenge event, the final results will be uploaded in PDF format to each participating player in Discord through DMs (Direct Messages if requested), as well as in #tdu1-general in both TDU World Community and Alex VII’s Official Discord Servers, #tdu-1 in Test Drive Unlimited Official Discord Server and #tdu in Turboduck Gaming Discord Server.

The Rules: You must use the car (or a car that meets the restrictions) and track chosen by the previous winner. Tuning/Setups are allowed this week. Dirty laps do not count, stay off the lawn kids. Most people will have completed TDU now, but it seems to have been revived a little thanks to Project Paradise. So here's a little challenge, for you to try and play the game in a different way. Try and get to Champion Rank without actually doing any racing. Have I lost my head? :oook: Try and get the highest rank in a racing game without racing? No I haven't actually, I think it is possible. There's also a few other things you have to do for the lolz :D Obviously you won't be able to 100% the game. And there will have to be a few exceptions to the rules for racing. Rules (Normal mode) - You shouldn't race. - Exceptions: - Rookie Race (Because you have to do this) - Around the Crater (to unlock the Car Paint Deluxe) - Tour of the Island (for the Alfa 8C) - Millionaires Challenge (But only allowed to win once) - Missions - You can do all challenges (Vehicle Delivery, Courier, Hitchhiker and Top Model) - This is because the Vehicle Delivery and Courier Challenges become the only way to earn money and progress in a lot of the achievements. - Cars - No restrictions, but as there is less money available choose wisely! - Houses - No restrictions, but as there is less money available choose wisely! - Driving - You must drive everywhere, no teleporting using the map . Rules (Nutters mode) Now I've gone crazy! :twisted: - Races - None allowed except from Rookies Race. This means no Car Paint Deluxe, No $1,000,000 winnings, and no Alfa 8C. - Missions - No changes, as Normal Mode. - Cars - All driving must be done using your starter car (Chevrolet SSR, Audi A3, Audi TT, Saturn Sky, Alfa GT) - Exceptions: - For missions that cannot physically be completed using one of the listed cars (i.e. Not matching requirements or too slow) you may use the requested car). You must drive from your house to the mission in the car required and straight back. - Houses - No changes from Normal Mode. - Driving - See above section: Exceptions for Cars. What do I get for completing the challenge? Bragging rights. (Put it in your sig or something) Do I have to prove I've completed the challenge? No, but it's on your consicence if you've said you've done it and you start bragging that you've done it, but you really haven't. Where do I sign up? You don't have to, but just reply to this thread and let me know how you're doing once in a while, so I can see if people actually care about this challenge. Can I use Project Paradise Multiplayer or any other mods? Yes, you can use Project Paradise. Mods allowed are this, sound mods and environment mods.

Well here's a little something for those that are looking for something to do :D Here are the rules: 1. Times must be recorded on the FULL Tsukuba circuit track. 2. There are 7 different classes: C, B, A, S, R3 and R2. Aswell as a special FWD D class (rules for this class below) 3. The person may use any car, with any modifications, within one of those classes to achieve the fastest clean lap they possibly can for their chosen class. 4. Extremely fast laps require a screen shot or photo to verify the time. 5. Tell which car you used for the lap. FWD D class: Only cars that were FWD from factory and remain FWD can be used. Have fun! Saturday 28 Jan at 11:00am GMT (London). (10pm Melbourne). The deal is simple, everyone meets up, locks together, then turns off the entire HUD (player name, speedo, and GPS). Each person takes turns picking a place to race to. Usually it's a dealer or other notable building or landmark. Then everyone races and picks their own route, trying to think ahead of time which way they will go while trying not to crash at 250kph+. It's very exciting stuff. When you arrive at the destination you can turn your HUD back on to see how everyone else is doing, but just don't announce that you've arrived, as it keeps the suspense going for the others who are racing.
