  1. [headline]Available Now On Steam, Coming To Consoles April 5th, 2016[/headline] Christmas comes early as DiRT Rally’s full release comes to Steam, following the massively successful Early Access release. DiRT Rally has been a massive hit, even in an uncompleted Early Access state. No doubt this is due to it’s old-school, Colin McRae Rally like gameplay. Rally fans finally got what they’ve been wanting for years, pure rallying on the tightest and most challenging roads. Since the April 2015 Early Access release, players have driven over 90 million kilometers (that’s about 60 million miles) and raced 3 million clean stages. Now, the full version and official release comes to Steam, with a console release date set for April 5th 2016. Also released today is the Winter Wonderland update, featuring the snowy roads of Sweden and 2 new cars, the VW Polo Rally and Hyundai i20 Rally. More info here. What do you guys think?
  2. We have in our previous post talked about the Best Racing Games For PC 2018. Dirt Rally PC Game is one of our favourite and we hope it's the same for you. Yeah, so we will go into one by one from that list. The first one being Dirt Rally PC Game. Codemasters’ Dirt Rally has surpassed its predecessor, Dirt 3, and is undoubtedly the best PC game Codemasters have created in years. With a much more authentic handling model, Dirt Rally does away with many of the arcady touches that continue to persist in the core series. That's an awesome feature of the rally game and gamers like us have been waiting to see this for quite a while. Not only that these races happen to be set on dirt(y) tracks with loads and loads of slippery sideways driving, but also you're actually taking part in the kind of endurance racing that rallying is all about. You have to take care of your car through every race stage, which gives an element of strategy and resource management. Now that's not so common in sim-racing. The Dirt Rally PC Game has been on the stage for awhile now, and has also accrued a dedicated and close knit modding community that regularly put out tweaks and fixes that massively improve the core game, especially for rally aficionados. Everything from gorgeously rendered car skins to the most subtle of weather and lighting changes are available to elevate the core game just that little bit higher. Although it is not a recent release game, we still love this one of the best ever PC Racing Game and that is why we put up this review. Not only did the Dirt Rally PC Game thrilled us and gave us one of the best racing experiences, it always have a place in our hearts and a game like that is obviously worth reminiscence. With that, we will conclude our today's review of Dirt Rally PC Game.

  4. [headline]DiRT Rally Now Available For Playstation VR[/headline] Since its initial release back in December 2015 DiRT Rally has astounded both fans and critics. The combination of the realism alongside the fantastic sounds and stunning graphics offers an immersive experience for players. This has resulted in a difficult-yet-addictive game, a legend up there with the likes of the original Colin McRae Rally series that preceded DiRT, and of... Read more on this...
  5. Lets start this thread off with a bang! I thought it was about time I converted over the original files for Hayden Paddon's i20 AP4 for the NZRC that I originally designed for him (with the help of a friend who specialises in DiRT) along with the mod I am working on to change wales a bit :happyroll: Next is the Stratos of Steve Perez which I am bringing to DiRT since nobody has done so already :D Finally, I am currently trying to sort out the ideal setup for recording my Oculus DK2, so heres a video of the test in action :cheeky:
  6. [headline]Dirt Rally Oculus VR Support Coming Next Week[/headline] There aren't any games that I can think of that would suit VR more than Codemasters awesome Dirt Rally. With how immersive the game already is when simply playing with a normal monitor and controller I can't imagine how on the edge you would be in VR. The Oculus support will be added in a regular, run of the... Read more on this...
  7. Oculus VR Support Coming to Dirt Rally Next Week There aren't any games that I can think of that would suit VR more than Codemasters awesome Dirt Rally. With how immersive the game already is when simply playing with a normal monitor and controller I can't imagine how on the edge you would be in VR. The Oculus support will be added in a regular, run of the mill free patch on Monday 11th July. Just 4 sleeps for those of you lucky enough to own the Oculus. Now imagine playing this game with VR whilst sat in one of those motion rigs. I for one would struggle to keep my breakfast down!
  8. [headline]DiRT Rally Console Release and 1.1 Update[/headline] Today, DiRT Rally comes to consoles! Times will be beaten, cars will be smashed, controllers will be thrown at walls as Xbox One and PlayStation 4 players get to experience the frustration that PC players have been enjoying on Steam for almost a year. We have seen first-hand how Codemasters have developed this authentic and intense rally game into an... Read more on this...
  9. So I've noticed quite a few people around here got the game, but nobody talks about it, so speak up! I got the game yesterday and Its a lot of fun, even though i suck hard at it (obviously :D), but the one thing that baffles Me is the level design the ditches and sort of curbs alongside roads, i think they are bit too harsh.
  10. [headline]Dirt Rally update time... Almost![/headline] Well, the lovely people at Codemasters have announced a new partnership with the FIA World Rallycross Championship so get ready for some crazy races coming your way coming this month(I think). See the below timeline for game updates! [ATTACH]23825[/ATTACH] The blue circles represent game content updates in the following order: - Rallycross Pack - PvP Pack - Rallycross Expansion - Flying Finland - Modern Masters - Winter Wonderland Source
  11. It always puzzled me how DiRT 2 had some pretty good wheel feel but DiRT 3 and DiRT Showdown managed to feel quite awful, to the point of making the game unplayable. While that did also come across in DiRT Rally that's all set to be resolved now. If you are a casual player, there's no need to perform any steps, just let the patch install and you'll be good to go and enjoy that new FFB. Codemaster recommend upping your rotation from 270 to 540 degrees to avoid snappy steering. If you're a simulation enthusiast, you will want to take a look at the new Controller Options UI. Ensure you have the latest drivers and software for your wheel, and set the rotation as high as possible, and disable centering spring. Each car now has its own individual steering lock parameters built in, similar to Project CARS. This they call 'soft lock', and if you don't like it, you can turn it off. You can see what values each car has been assigned below. To go along with this, the developers have listened and implemented a wheel calibration screen just like you find in other PC Sims. :yay: No more trying to guess what linearity setting to use. Just hold the wheel at 90 degrees and everything is calculated for you. Make sure you complete this after installing the patch. You can also save multiple wheel configurations and share them with others in the form of .xml files. 12. [headline]Pikes Peak joins DiRT Rally[/headline] The incredible Pikes Peak Hillclimb course has joined DiRT Rally as of today via a free update to the title which is currently available via Steam Early Access. Players will be able to test their wits on two versions of the notorious track that has been tackled by and taken down many a driver over the near 100 years it's been home to many racing events - one that is full asphalt and another that mixes asphalt and gravel. Along with the world-renowned Colorado course comes three extremely much loved icons of the rally world in the: Peugeot 205 T16 PP, Audi Sport Quattro S1 PP and the Peugeot 405 T16 PP. The Pikes Peak pack is the first of a number of updates planned for the game during it's Early Access phase on Steam. [subhead]DiRT Rally Pikes Peak Trailer[/subhead]
  13. That was kinda unexpected! It's available now on Steam - Early Access version that is.
