    1. [headline]The Future of DriveClub[/headline] The season pass has finally come to an end, later than originally planned which made it exceptional value for money compared to pretty much all of the other season passes available for other games. But from the sounds of it this by no means means that Evolution Studios are ending their support for the game. They have more cars, tracks and events lined up for future updates and also a big surprise in store for us all. I'm looking forward to the second season pass (please Evo!!!). Source
    2. Following the closure of Evolution Studios in 2016, Sony is now announcing the closure of online access for the popular racing game DriveClub. Fans of the game have one more year of online access before the servers are retired on March 31, 2020. If you have a PS4 console and have not yet tried out this game or some of its DLC, you will need to act a little faster as Sony will stop selling the DriveClub game and all of its add-ons following August 31, 2019. These dates have been added to the forum calendar. Source: engadget Screenshot courtesy ofSoundwave .

    4. Enjoy playing DriveClub? Enjoy racing online? Well, you better do both of these things before this date as the online features for DriveClub will be retired on 31 March 2020. Source: https://www.engadget.com/2019/03/31/driveclub-online-shuts-down-march-2020/
    5. So I'm sure this one took a few people by surprise. What we thinking about how this one looks to play out? I think I remember hearing something about it being "first-person" so already my curiousity is well and truly piqued! 6. DRIVECLUB Urban Tracks When PlayStation VR released, one of the first titles to properly take advantage of and show what was so good about Virtual Reality was DRIVECLUB VR. Releasing as a full title it was only right that it received brand new content that wasn’t in the normal release and so a selection of new tracks set in urban environments was included. It could have been left like that but no, as continuing on with the fantastic post-release support that Evolution Studios oozed upon DRIVECLUB, it was revealed that these new tracks would also hit the original game in a free futur
    7. DRIVECLUB VR RELEASE The novelty can easily wear off if there is nothing much to play on your newly acquired piece of kit but it looks like PlayStation VR will not have that worry as it has been announced that DRIVECLUB VR will be a launch title. Featuring five new urban locales, which make up most of the 30 never playable before tracks, more than 80 cars, a new Tour, new modes and lots of exclusive to VR features such as the stupidly cool 'Virtual Passenger' where the player can sit in the passenger seat during replays, the simcade racer is sure to be a title that will show off the perk
    8. Thanks Evo for the Good Times! Sony decided to unveil just before the Easter bank holiday that they were in the process of closing down Evolution Studios (also gave us WRC and Motorstorm) which means that DRIVECLUB, at least eventually will be nothing more than a distant memory. Happy Easter everybody. A game that has shown so much promise and so much potential is going to be pulled away from right in front of us. Much like another franchise that a lot of us have fond memories of. Sony's statement: Regular reviews take place throughout SCE Worldwide Studios, ensuring that the r

    10. Sad day for the maker of Motorstorm, Driveclub and more games, because Evolution Studios has been shut down by Sony. No word yet it seems on how long the servers will stay online. Source: Sony confirms closure of Evolution Studios | GamesIndustry.biz
    11. [headline]DRIVECLUB/BIKES in March: XJ220, Regera, MV Agusta & a Free Aprilia[/headline] Evolution Studios show no sign of slowing down in bringing more desirable content to DRIVECLUB with the upcoming release of two new Expansion Packs and a free for everyone Aprilia superbike, later this month on March 22nd. 12. DRIVECLUB March DLC Evolution Studios show no sign of slowing down in bringing more desirable content to DRIVECLUB with the upcoming release of two new Expansion Packs and a free for everyone Aprilia superbike, later this month on March 22nd. In fact, if anything they just keep upping the bar in what they manage to source and get out for their players. Case in point of the Koenigsegg Regera that is coming, along with a Jaguar XJ220 in what is being labelled the "Finish Line" Expansion Pack. The pairing of these two is quite appropriate in my opinion as of their time they were some of the
    13. [headline]DRIVECLUB goes Hardcore Street Racing with February Update. Plus R34 & Civic Type-R!![/headline] HARDCORE STREET RACING If there is one thing DRIVECLUB has lacked that mostly all arcade racing titles have, it is city locations. From tomorrow however that will no longer be the case, as part of this year's February update (v1.26) will contain a brand new city track based in Scotland, called Old Town. The new location will come in six variants, is available across the main game and the BIKES expansion and is what is hopefully the first in a series of metropolis street racing

    15. I hope you enjoy this video that I recorded from DRIVECLUB. It's pretty decent for what it is, although I honestly do struggle with twitchy gamepad steering and 30 FPS. Rusty doesn't seem too bothered about adding supporting for Fanatec wheels either (pCARS managed it somehow???)
    16. I hope you enjoy this photo that I took in DRIVECLUB. It's actually a screenshot from a video recording as there appears to be no 'Take Photo' button in the UI. (In hindsight I guess you press the Share button on the controller).
    17. Is This an Early Christmas Present From Evolution Studios? There's not really much to say about this one other than just watch. The 360° video is best viewed on a smartphone/tablet where you control the video by moving the device around. I wouldn't recommend watching it out in public though as you may inadvertently hit somebody in the head. You've been warned. Let us know what you think! I for one hope that there is more to come.
    18. DRIVECLUB: December Update December is a good one if you are a DRIVECLUB player as it gives you some free toys to play with now and later this month. Starting today players can get acquainted with the Mercedes-AMG S65 Coupé which can be unlocked by completing Rank 6 of the Mercedes-Benz Owners Club Accolade, and for those with the DRIVECLUB Bikes expansion, the KTM 1290 Super Duke R bike for everyone with DRIVECLUB Bikes where completion of Rank 10 in the KTM Owners Club Accolade will reward you with the two-wheeled machine. The update also brings with it the chance to make
    19. DRIVECLUB Future? It's been over a year since Evolution Studios released Driveclub and what a year it has been for them and indeed for us gamers. They did however make a complete hash of the release as the game was plagued by server issues for several months. But they kept their heads down and made a damn good game in the process. In the past year, over 50 new cars have been added to the game, more than doubling the car list, a handful of new tracks have been added and graphical updates that brought us the spectacular weather amongst other things in a mix of both free and paid for update

    21. Private Members, Take It Easy A few days ago it was tweeted that a new update was coming to DRIVECLUB this week and with it would be Private Lobbies, Braking assist options and more. That update is now available and the full run down of what it includes is now known: Private Lobbies do actually have options that can be set by the host like grid positons, penalties, collisions, player viewpoints and control settings, a new Club Level cap has been raised from 50 to 55 and die-hard players can continue to show their majesty and domination of the game with new ELITE Driver Levels of 76 - 80.
    22. [headline]Introducing DriveClub Bikes![/headline] Evolution Studios dropped a bombshell, from quite a height as we saw it coming mind you. Bikes have made their way to DriveClub as either an expansion pack to current game owners for £11.99/$14.99 or as a standalone game priced at £15.99/$19.99. You already have the platinum trophy? Pfft, what are you waiting for, there are now 2 platinum trophies available to slave towards! Can't wait to get the chance to get my hooves on this. :) Source
    23. [headline]DRIVECLUB at a crazy price![/headline] As if this game isn't already tempting at the prices it can be found for now, Sony go ahead and smack a lovely big price reduction on it for PS Plus members. The offer is making its way across the regions and the US is just waiting to go live at the time of this post. The DRIVECLUB Season Pass is highly-regarded as being one of the best on offer for the content it offered to holders and with the next stage of the game about to come into effect another is seemingly very likely. If you have held off on this game for this long then here is a gold
