i get audio at the beginning of the game when the videos play, but after that i dont get any audio. i went into the options and didnt see anywhere to choose between outputs, only volume sliders. anybody know why the game gives audio at the start and then quits? every single audio application works with virtual audio cable as the default device (havent tried any other games) except test drive unlimited. at first i thought maybe it had something to do with internet explorer being open, and maybe the game wouldnt run the audio because internet explorer had it.. well i closed internet explorer and restarted the game but didnt get any audio again.

hey there guys.. this recently started hapening to the game and this problem isnt there in XP when i start a model mission or a race, the car starts in the middle of nowhere ( somewhere in a forest !!) im runnin core i5 windows 7 x64 home basic with a Intel Hd graphics family chip which gives me 1699 graphic memory please help me guys ..!!!

WHAT"S up guys, I'm an experienced modder but I'm new to the world of TDU and TDU2 modding and really looking forward to getting into it. My dad drives a Hennessey CTS-V700 Coupe and it kicks ass! my fav. sports car is the Carrera GT3-RS and my fav. car is the Rolls-Royce Phantom. I have both TDU and TDU2. I've about had it. Let me make this short and sweet. I had Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, but then I started getting constant BSOD's because my hard drive is in the beginning stages of hard drive failure. So, I wiped, and reinstalled Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit, as it won't crash and burn, unlike Windows 7. I know using your PC with a dying hard drive is flat out stupid, but I have all my data backed up. Besides, it's a fresh install, and Windows, updates, and TDU are the only thing on this box. ANYWAYS...... :bsod: I login to Digital River, and re-download TDU, and the Megapack. Then I go to ftp.atari.com, and download the 1.66A patch from their FTP server. I installed TDU, and opened it. It brought up activation. It activated fine. It launches, and I get the black screen. It sits there for 10 seconds, and fools me into thinking that it'll launch, instead I get "Test Drive Unlimited has stopped working". So, I install the patch. It still crashes. Megapack? Still crashes. I uninstall, install any new updates, and update my video card. I reinstall, but I noticed something weird. Even though that I deleted the TDU folder in C:\ProgramData, it didn't ask for the serial key to activate. But, I installed the 1.66A patch before running it, and opened it on a clean install, with the patch. Still crashed. I rebooted, and it still crashed. I even went to the compatibility tab, and put it on XP SP2 compatibility, and checked the boxes to disable themes and desktop composition. Still crashed and burned. I'm going to post my specs, a dxdiag, the crash report from Windows. SPECS: 2.67 GHz Intel Core i7 920 6GB (1GB x 6) RAM (Clock speed and vendor unknown) Samsung Spinpoint F1 SATA 7200 RPM Drive @ 450 GB.
