  2. GRAVEL has gotten itself two new gameplay videos that show off a couple of races recently. Both are of the 'Wild Rush' variety against another 7 opponents, the first taking place in Namibia at dusk and the latest during a snow storm at Montebianco. Hard to know what to think about this game. But with a February release, it can't be too long before previews start to stream out, or a delay is announced.
  3. Milestone have decided to leave the rallying and motorcycles alone for now, however they are not straying away from motorsport at all as their next title GRAVEL is taking on off-roading. [via Gravel Videogame News]

  5. NINE-TIME WORLD CHAMPION!! Milestone Studios has announced that Sébastien Loeb Rally Evo (SLRallyEvo) is being pushed back slightly from its original October 2015 date to early 2016. To go with the official new release date of January 29th 2016 a trailer has also been released. 6. Hello all and sundry! Another milestone has been hit with our community and this one is that we are now entering a seventh year, just think about that for a second. If you joined at the minimum required age of 13 then, well you are now 19 heading for 20. That's a fair amount of time and A LOT has occurred in this period of time, from the extreme highs to the unpleasant lows we've been through it all. In fact it's been through the worst times where this place has really shone in how some of our members see and respect this place. This always surprises me as to me it's something but to you all I think how can people care enough to actually will it to survive and continue on and that is extremely humbling. I want to give a massive shout-out to all the active staff, you guys help keep me from going more mental and committing myself to an insane asylum. Then we have the modders, you guys are amazing, providing your own time to create items for the players to use in their games making the experience much more enjoyable and - even to an extent - bearable. I would also thank the Site Writers here but most of them have been useless and not done what they signed up to do so I will thank those who have actually been a real asset to that area and they are; Ryzza, TDUFREAK and Loz. If I missed you out it's because I can't remember the last thing you wrote. As usual I have to give a big-up to the supporters and Speshul Members, you guys really do help to keep this place alive, I don't know if people think that bar is a gimmick or what but for the rare few of you who do I cannot show my appreciation enough and wish I could do more giveaways and such-like for you guys. Every year I say I will try this and it never comes true so this year I am saying nothing and see what will happen. Maybe ignorance is in fact bliss? :D Since we became turboduck I have been working hard to distance ourselves from the whole TDU centric branding that we have had and though this has happened it has only but slightly. So in the next few weeks to months you will see some experiments being conducted, I have some interesting ideas for this place and I am determined to put them into practice and I am sure those of you who are members of the community will like what's to come. There was a real community spirit here and I want that back and I hope you guys will stick around once this mad scientist approach becomes reality. Thanks to you all, without you guys this place would not be anything and I never forget that. Here's to 8! Cheers
  7. No Chainsaws Please! The last time I enjoyed getting dirty on two wheels in a video game was probably way back when the PS3 first was released with MotorStorm. Before then it was some MX game a friend of mine had on PS2. Sure, there have been other games since (such as Pure or MUD) but there is still room for the genre to grow (don't forget those rumours of a potential Road Rash remake from Criterion Games and Slightly Mad Studios). So Milestone, who've also recently made MotoGP and WRC games, have now announced a license for MXGP (MotoCross Grand Prix) riders and their dirt bikes. Here's the full press release: Official License 60 riders, 60 bikes, 14 tracks and rules from the official MX1 and MX2 2013 FIM Motocross World Championship. Realism It's "The Game About Motocross" and this is injected in all the aspects of the game: realistic bike physics, rider motion-captured animations, dirt systems, new terrain deformation system. Be a Motorcross Rider Live the real life of a motorcross rider with the career mode: signing contract with Official MX Teams depending on his results try to became the new champion. Tracks All the tracks are completely new and loyoal to the real ones: realistic illumination, 3D environments, fan, baloon and animated flag... show the real Motorcross World! Release Date: 28 March 2014 Platforms: PlayStation3, Xbox 360, PlayStation Vita, PC Languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish Age Rating: PEGI 3 MXGP Media Gallery [gallery link=file" size="gallery-thumbnail" columns="3" itemtag="div" icontag="span" ids="2197,2196,2195,2194,2193,2192,2191,2190,2189] http://mxgpvideogame.com
  8. 3, 2, 1 Go! Milestone have announced the release dates for their action-arcade WRC title that's coming to Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) and PlayStation Store (PSN) this month. Xbox will get it first from March 8th at a cost of 1200MSP and PSN will follow a week later from the 15th at around €14.99. Find out more about the game at it's official website: WRC Powerslide
  9. 3 Right tightens into 4, use powerup! Watching the trailer of this game reminded me of the PSX generation games such as Micro Machines and Rally Cross, in that it looks kind of fun, whether it will be as fun as those I mentioned is only going to be discovered by playing it but I have to admit I do like the idea and not so seriousness behind what it shown. And as long as the price isn't too high it could be worth a punt just to get a nostalgia trip of those older games that used to come out along with the big racers and shooters of the day *sigh*. Games are meant to be fun and not all of them have to be full-on simulations or accurately recreate the law of physics and it is good to see that there is still some of that 'having a laugh' and silliness around. WRC Powerslide should be out in March 2013. Trailer:
