1. since the old camera broke I have new photos with the new camera Bug eye GRB R32 SM-X any tips for making a diy engine?
2. Would anyone be up to the task of making a Mazda RX-8 (2008 model or newer) and a sound mod to go with it? This car would fit perfectly alongside the Hyundai Genesis, Honda S2000, etc. I've always wanted one, and having one in TDU2 with the wankel engine sound would be great. Just please, for the love of whatever god you worship, don't use the Need for Speed Shift 2 sound file for the car. It's horrible.
3. maya luxury car maybe the appearances are far away from the true story, maybe the resolution of this car is not really good for tdu1, even though it looks so I've posted (again) a site with an already made 3d car model, not with the purpose to intrusively insist that modders to do this car "somehow and sometime", but maybe this 3d model is really good for tdu1
4. When I use a model with an autoinstaller, the physics and charteristics such as ride height and name don't change.
5. Hey everybody, so I just bought TDU2 for PC 2 weeks ago, and finally figured out how to install mods. One of my greatest dreams has been to have a Delorean in Test Drive Unlimited 2. I am very passionate about this car, but doesn't look like Forza Horizon will include the car to my knowledge. If anybody could be so nice as to port the car from Forza 4 I would be eternally grateful. I know I have seen dozens of people request this car to the TDU2 devs but it was a loosing battle at that place. Such a shame the game didn't live on longer.
6. Hello, I would like to get the 3d model (interior + exterior) of the Audi dealer from Ibiza, for a personal work. But, I can't find where are the files. The only thing I found is a file called ecd_audi.bnk in the ..\islands\ibiza\exterior directory. Unfortunaly, when I import the two .3DG in Zmodeler nothing appears, and the textures don't seem to be the interior ones. Do someone know are the interior shops models ? Thanks. PS : Hm... Sorry for my English :/
7. Hi i`m requesting cause the original model is crappy if someone could convert the model from FM4 would be great!
8. Don't know how long this will last but I'll give it a shot. Right now I have about 18 models cars/trucks that I have put together. I started this hobby about 2 or 3 years ago. Now I have put these vehicles together when I had my NFSU2 days and yes, they are riced out. Now I'm starting to redo these models and make them look better (hopefully). I'll be posting pics and perhaps updates of my progress. It's just like working on a real car in terms of custom bodywork and such. EDIT: Also, I've been collecting actual car parts here and there. If they need some fixing I'll post them here. Here is my 1st car to restore, I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like before but this is what it really looked like, but instead of orange its this dark green And the rim spokes were black: -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- Oh and also, I wanted to have a split hood like they had in NFSU2, so I had cut the hood/bonnet in half down the middle. Well that failed so I glued it back together and with a bit of cardboard pieces and a lot of body filler, I hid the cut with a roof scoop. It warped the hood and made it curl and I said whatever lol. Ok, here is the progress I made so far: This was what I had did to the interior... Yes i had painted it like that back in the days, its OBVIOUSLY going to be redone. http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad289/westwingturbos/Cars/Model%20Car%20Fabrication/100_4172.jpg The body: http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad289/westwingturbos/Cars/Model%20Car%20Fabrication/100_4173.jpg Look at that spoiler, its a dining table . Also the previous wheels are on the left and the messed up hood underneath the body. Where is stands as of now: http://i944.photobucket.com/albums/ad289/westwingturbos/Cars/Model%20Car%20Fabrication/100_4171.jpg I gotta head to the store for primer and paint to continue. I had to use a lighter to heat up the hood and twist it at many places to get the contours right and to make it fit properly.
9. OK, I'm a complete noob when it comes to modding. But I am curious about something. How, in a nutshell, do you get a custom car model into the game? Is it necessary to import and 'adapt' a car from a different game - or can you, if you had the time and patience, completely make up your own car? That seems sensible to me, seeing as all the cars in the game were made from scratch by the developers - so why should somebody else not be able to? Say I had a 3D model of a car. I'm a noob with 3D modelling too, so I have no idea whether this model includes/can be made to have animations, spinning wheels etc - but what file format(s) would it have to be to turn it into a TDU2 car, and would one go from 3D model to finished in-game car that you can drive? - Dan
10. hello is not urgent or super important but it is a piece of history. and be nice to see him after so many years back on track. DAIMLER-BENZ called T80 perhaps some already know, is the current world recordholder with appropriate speed 750km / h or 465mph. Engine 44 liters 3000HP made in 1939-1940 do not know. I found it funny. regards!!! -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- -- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) -- World-renown German auto racer Hans Stuck's pet project was to take the world land speed record and he convinced Mercedes-Benz to build a special racing car for the attempt. Officially sanctioned by Hitler himself (a race car fan influenced by Stuck), the project was started in 1937. Automotive designer Dr. Ferdinand Porsche first targeted a speed of 550 km/h (340 mph), but after George Euston's and John Cobb's successful LSR (Land Speed Record) runs of 1938-39 the target speed was raised to 600 km/h (373 mph). By late 1939, when the project was finished, the target speed was a much higher 750 km/h (465 mph). Since this would also be the first Land Speed Record attempt on German soil, Hitler envisioned the T80 as another propaganda triumph of German technological superiority to be witnessed by the entire world courtesy of German television. By 1939, the T80 was fully completed at a cost of RM 600,000. It was powered by a massive 44.5 liter Daimler-Benz DB 603 inverted V12, a derivative of the famous DB-601 aircraft engine which powered the lethal Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighter in production at the time. The DB-603 fitted was just the third prototype (V3) engine of this variant and tuned up to an amazing 3,000 hp. The engine ran off a mixture of methyl alcohol (63%), benzene (16%), ethanol (12%), acetone (4.4%), nitrobenzolo (2.2%), avgas (2%), and ether (0.4%) with MW (methanol-water) injection for charge cooling and boost pressure. The vehicle also had three axels, the powerful engine running the rear two axles for maximum traction of the heavy six-wheeler Read more at http://www.supercars.net/Pics?v=y&s=c&id=4407&p=1939_DAIMLERBENZ_T803.jpg#uIXeXRum0JFtkYLm.99
