  1. TDU PE 2.5! This is the program conducted by Dredgy's, so I went and made this post for those who have a little problem in the TDUPE 2.78, which is the limit value in the bars of acceleration and brakes (in the case of motorcycles), for here is this program for that. So for those who have this problem and want to edit the bikes in Test Drive Unlimited, just download the program, which is in the link of mediafire, decompress it, use it and go! The bikes that you wanted to change has been accomplished! NOTE: Do not change the names of the vehicles or the game will close! To save the changes should give "save all changes"!! Hello, i have had this awesome program for a long while and it workeed well, only occasional crashes and exceptions after saving, but this morning, it just refused to save changes to anything i edited, i was using version 1.0, then i downloaded 2.5, and tried the same, and the same exception happened. does any one else have this problem? can anyone help me?   3. Hi all, I found a BMW M5 E34 mod and it has a performance pack with it. I am using Dredgy's TDUPE 2.5 to install the pack. I select the Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 AMG as that is the car that is being replaced by the BMW I downloaded. I then click "Load Car" and then click "Performance Packs" and a drop down menu appears and I click "Import Performance Pack". I select the BMW's and import it and then click "Save Car" and then finally click "Save All Changes". When I go to start the game up it crashes. Any help would be great, thanks.
  4. Sound Performance Licence Plate MOD Hey there guys well yes im back into modding tdu i have reinstalled the game 1 or 2 hou ago. Now im making a few new common.car mods like Licence Plate and Brake Discs and maby some other stuff:oook: Atm im working on a new Brake Disc texture i will also release that wenn im done with it. Because of posting engine sound mods, I've decided to write this, with the purpose to help people who would be interested of the physics from the previews from my posts (even though I would not get the most viewed :D and my sounds probably would not get more than several hundred views :))). But : that is not my priority, getting many views. My priority is to help people who would like to have realistical enough physics, better than the original game's physics, and to have heavy diesel sounds (which are not plenty), people who would like to have what I have (I don't think here in a superstitious way). I do this because I was before in this position : frustrated of not being able to do my own mods (ok, not cars, which requires a lot of work and computer skills, I talk about sound & physics), frustrated of bothering other people to help me. And now, My Advices about Physics Editing : 1. The Acceleration must be very low for maximum of handling. 2. The Mass (KG) must be 1000 for normal weight cars to provide maximum of handling. 3. FWD / RWD Traction is great for a strong start (with AWD the start is poor). 4. Engine Inertia (smaller) is useful for driving relatively constant at low speeds (without engine struggling). 5. Grip must be big for stability, but with strong enough suspensions & dampers (I recommend 90 value for every 'free space' you have to write). 6. Ride Height (Front/Rear) & Maximum Height (Front/Rear) must have the same value (all of them) for big stability. 7. Overhang (Front/Rear) must be bigger for more cornering stiffness/rigidity and smaller for less cornering stiffness/rigidity (Overhang is, in fact, the ... pfff, just look the image from this link : Wikimedia Error). 8. Track Front/Rear must be bigger for more stability and smaller for less stability (for drifting, but it is not enough) (Track Front & Rear is, in fact, the distance on X Axe between wheels : Wikimedia Error). I recommend 2500 value. I've tried To Create REALISTICAL ACCELERATION & HANDLING, and NOT REALISTICAL VALUES (WHICH STRONGLY SUCKS).
  6. Hello :) I downloaded the M5 by Minimie. I have got the power and acceleration right. Was wondering if someone could explain what Gearbox Inertia and Engine Inertia do? I want to make the car get to its top speed of 305, right now it gets there but not quickly enough. Then, when I am driving and let off the throttle, the car slows down by itself to quickly. Any help wiould be appreciated :) Cheers
  7. Hi, I've got a problem with the tdu performance editor. when I rename a car with the tool, tdu crashes a few seconds after I've started it. It's annoying, so could anyone help me with my problem??? :confused: Greetings from ullmax
  8. hi guys, ive just reinstalled tdu and have put the cars of my choice on, can someone please tell me how to slow a car down, also is there a way to disable the annoying ai drivers?. i take it the servers are down for good, cheers. ok i got tdupe working now im after more traffic, any ideas?
  9. Hi guys and maybe girls, I can't seem to find a download link for the Performance Editor. I never play online, and i'm a huge fan of tuning, but since tuning possibilities in this game are pretty low, i want to edit performances to get the dream cars (tuned) from Youtube for example :P Can anyone upload it, to let's say Mediafire, or is there even a link? The original Threads link refers me to a weird site.

  11. Hello Guys. Sorry for this stupid thread im new here. I downloaded the TDU Performance editor and i really don't konw how to use it. First of all when i open it it says that tdu data not found. Where i need to extract it? I really don't understand. So if somebody knows please help me... I want to change psihycs on some cars. Thank You. By the way i don't have any patch on the game or the megacar pack. It this could be the problem? Because i wanted to install whit the Magic Map the 1.86 patch and it screwed up my game. Same whit megacar pack, nothin' worked..... :(
  12. I bought TDU a while ago thinking i would run it fine: 2.2 dual core 2gb RAM Nvidia 8400GS Vista 32 bit. But in reality i have to go to ultra low quality, ie no AA, no HDR, low details and 800x600 res to get it to run smoothly (30fps). I tried the Can You RUN It site and it said i more than met the recommended requirements, So im confused :( Also, according to Can You RUN It, it says i have 1009mb of memory on my graphics card (Video Ram), which cant be right . Its 256 as far as i know. I heard somewhere if your graphics card has too much memory, it can actually reduce performance. Is there anyway i turn it down? Or is "can you run it" just talking nonsense? Sorry for the essay lol, please help! :)
