  1. Project CARS Free April DLC Project CARS in April will see the Mercedes-AMG GT3 come to players for free later this month, and the GT3-class racer will be the only DLC offering for the game by Slightly Mad Studios for the month. We had already been treated to a number of teases of the vehicle last month, but thanks to the game's official twitter we know that it is now due out on April 15th. This latest Mercedes GT3 racer made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in 2015 as the successor to the mighty SLS GT3, which is already in the game. Chances are you may already have s
  2. Project CARS March DLC The teasing of what is to come next to Project CARS this March has started with some images being posted on the official instagram of the game. The first of these shows an outside the window shot from "the next free car", which seemingly from some noticeable clues such as the door and mirror shape, door opener, yellow pullover fabric strap and probably the most telling - the AMG branding on the bottom, signals that this will be the oft-rumoured Mercedes-AMG GT3 finally making its appearance. Next up is something we only recently learned about due to the
  3. Project CARS Of The Year Project CARS has had a decent impact on the racing genre since its release, taking the fight to Forza Motorsport, Gran Turismo and giving those on PC yet another sim-racer they need to find time to play with amongst their Assetto Corsa, iRacing etc. Looking glorious on the PC has always been an easy selling point for the game, and with the proper wheel support and providing the consoles a more simulation based racer compared to the usual offerings the title has done well in introducing itself and giving others something to think about. It's had its problems sure
  4. Project CARS February DLC out in March Please bear with me a second while I smash my head off the desk. *WHACK* All right, over the past few days we have provided information on what the next Car Pack for Project CARS would be and delivered the media and release dates seen from trusted sources. So it's really annoying (in a funny way) that today it has been announced that the - whatever! final name out of 'US Car Pack' or 'US Racecar Pack' they choose - DLC for February will be out now on March 1st, due to making sure that Patch 9.0 will be "out on all platforms before the Pack [is out]"
  5. USA! USA! USA! Update: Feb 20th - This DLC Car Pack has now been delayed to March 1st. Update: Feb 19th - The actual name is the US Racecar Pack and a teaser video was posted in the early hours (GMT) of this morning. Update: Feb 18th - The muppet that I am talked about the Ford Fusion Stockcar and yet FORGOT to put it in the contents list. So yeah it's obviously there! More images and information have come out about this months DLC for Project CARS. We knew it was going to be a "car pack" and we've seen the teaser pics and some of the shared screens from the official Project CA
  6. Ammazzinngg Race! The people at Slightly Mad Studios have been teasing their fans again about their upcoming DLC releases on their Instagram and the official Project CARS forums. And from what they've shown, it looks like the February DLC pack will concentrate on American vehicles. So far, we've seen pictures of a Corvette C7.R GTE, Chevrolet's Le Mans winning beast, a Cadillac ATS-V.R (am I seeing a theme in the naming department here?), which is Cadillac's GT3-spec racer they used for the 2015 season in the Pirelli World Challenge series, an Indycar, which looks to be the Dallara DW12
  7. The Wait Is Now Over, Coming To pCARS Are New Motors Last week we discussed the upcoming car and track pack coming to Project Cars. Well... it's no longer upcoming, instead, it's now released almost here! It should be hitting your PC, Xbox One, or PlayStation 4 at this very moment (if this very moment is Jan 29th). With this latest pack we get the flavour of StanceWorks, the insanity of Mad Mike, and the beauty of the Scottish Highlands, which we'll talk more about below. But first, check out this tasty trailer: What an incredible trailer, and I'm not just saying that because 60F
  8. StanceWorks And The Twisty Roads Of Scotland Come To Project CARS The latest upcoming release as part of the On Demand program from Slightly Mad Studios is an exciting one. This will mark the 7th pack to bring new cars to the game, and the 4th containing a new track. This month, the madness of StanceWorks comes to pCARS in the form of two epic BMWs, and as if that's not enough you'll also get a side order of Scotland's best roads. The Cars BMW 2002 Inspired by the legendary FIA cars, the 2002 features Group 2 bodywork with boxed fenders, nixed bumpers, and M1 Procar-inspired mirro
  9. December's DLC brings the best of Renault Sport to Project CARS From Slightly Mad Studios comes the latest release in the On Demand program, available now on PC and Consoles, the Renault Sports car pack. Featuring the five of the best of France's highest selling car manufacturer, the motorsport rich Renault and the Radical RXC Turbo as this pack's free car. What's In The Box? 2015 Renault Sport R.S. 01 - A purebred track eating monster developed by Renault Sport Technologies. 2015 Formula Renault 3.5 - An open-wheel racer that gives a taste of the formula experience. 2
  10. Small French Things On Three Wheels! Back in December 2013, World Of Mass Development (WMD) announced that an agreement had been forged with Renault to bring a number of models to the game. With such a great history in motorsport, it was an exciting thought to have these iconic cars in Project CARS. However, since launch players have only had the joy of racing the often three-wheeling hot hatches Clio RS Cup and Megane RS, until now. Coming to Project CARS this month is the Renault Sport Car Pack! While Slightly Mad Studios tease the new car pack on their Instagram account, the rea

  12. Get Your Hands On Some Japanese Beasts! UPDATE: Trailer added As previously reported earlier this month, the next car pack from the Project CARS On Demand program has been released and is rolling out across the world right now! The aptly named all Japanese car pack features some of what Japan has to offer, with an additional 2 generations of the Lancer Evolution, 1999 VI TME and 2008 IX FQ-360, as well as 4 Toyota/Scion models in the form of a TS040 Hybrid used in the FIA World Endurance Championship, Toyota GT86, and the monstrous GT86 Rocket Bunny GT Edition and FR-S Rocke
  13. Coming This October To Theaters Near You! Edit 28/10/15: Out Now! Slightly Mad Studios announced last month a number of upcoming DLC expansions are to be released before the end of the year as part of their 'On Demand' program, ensuring continued development and new content for Project CARS. SMS are planning to regularly release new content, having already released a track expansion, a car pack coming this month and another "huge" track expansion coming next month, we can't wait to see what pCARS will get next! ON DEMAND is our way of ensuring Project CARS players receive brand-new
  14. [headline]Project CARS Old vs New Car Pack[/headline] Project CARS continues with its brilliant ON DEMAND release campaign with the latest release of the 'Old vs New' Car Pack. This car pack contains six cars of which you can probably tell are of the same pedigree but from different eras. RUF entails the absolutely insane CTR 'Yellowbird', greatly shown in the video below recreating some of the infamous 'Faszination' video that propelled the brand into the minds of many, due to the incredible car control and speed shown by the unreal driving ability of test driver Stefan Roser. The modern co
