  1. So, the other day I started modding one of my other games for PS3 and I was wondering if there are any mods for PS3?
  2. Feedback Aplenty Thanks to Codemasters, Broadcast Journalism student and 'Motorsport YouTuber' Andre Harrison was exclusively permitted to record his limited gameplay session and share it with the world. His praises the development team for taking a step backwards towards the original Race Driver GRID title in terms of content and handling. It's a little hard to judge ourselves due to his, erm... aggressive driving style (at least in the touring cars), but do share your thoughts in the comments section below. Also showcased is the sharp menu interface and the replay system that Codies are particularly proud of. Oh and Ravenwest are back. Is this title on your 'must-have' list for 2014? Is being similar to GRID 1 a good or bad thing? Is there room for GRID Autosport and Project CARS to share the market? Do you think Codemasters made the right call releasing early on current-gen consoles? These are the questions - scroll down and submit your answers! GRID Autosport is due for release on PC (Steam), Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on Friday the 27th of June 2014.
  3. Hi everybody! I want meet anybody in TDU2 PS3 online. For cruises and driving around Islands.. If someone want to join me, write here or join friend on PSN. My PSN is DimamasLV. Thanks! :)
  4. Pure Raging A couple of new Raging Bulls are the next to join the NFS Rivals cops and racer ranks in this latest DLC for the EA arcade racer, called the 'Concept Lamborghini' the packs contain the (successful?) attempt of recent years to re-imagine the legendary Miura, resulting in the gorgeous Miura Concept. Snorting alongside is the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Super Trofeo, a road-going version of the racing variant that participates in what is known as the 'World's Fastest One Make Series' the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo. Packs are available either separately as Cop or Racer with the former containing Pursuit liveries for the vehicles or a Complete Pack where you will get both packs for a discounted price. They should be available now on all relevant platforms so if you're still feeling the Need for Speed and want some new Lamborghini metal to go up against the recent Ferraris and Jaguars that were also released, then here and now is the time to do it! NFS Rivals: Lamborghini DLC Trailer Thanks - needforspeed.com
  5. The Thunder Returns February 18th is set to be a big day for fans of America's biggest spectator sport as NASCAR '14 The Game arrives on the Xbox 360, PS3 and for you PC users out there, Steam. Deep Silver and Eutechnyx are serving up yet another crack at the NASCAR gaming series, since EA Sports dropped the franchise rights in 2009. Eutechnyx has not had it easy trying to appease the NASCAR fan base, as the first two attempts in the gaming series served up many issues, including glitches and bugs long after launch; however the NASCAR fan base is a rock solid bunch, sticking with the games despite their issues as Eutechnyx worked hard to patch the issues. And so brings forth NASCAR '14, the aptly named third game in the series for the UK Developer. NASCAR '14 brings forth a slew of new features that were disappointingly missing from the previous editions of the game, including but not limited to: Online Racing Leagues, Server Browsers, DNF's, enhanced AI driving styles and difficulty levels, new car physics and the ability to hire staff and acquire sponsors in Career mode. Eutechnyx states that DLC will come out on a monthly basis for the game, including updating the game's "NASCAR Highlights" feature, which allows you to take the wheel of a specific driver, recreating epic moments from the real NASCAR season. Start your engines, NASCAR '14 arrives in 3 days on Xbox 360, PS3 and Steam for PC. 6. I understand there is no sharing of save games/dlc on site. However I have a very odd related question. So Im missing 1% Ibiza2 road discovery on the ps3. The hours I've spent scanning the map have made me angry at the game and devs who didnt include an ability to highlight missing bits (there is no reason not to have this). So i have a friend with the PC version and knowing how easy it is to mod the PC version (change road highlight colors etc) I was hoping to import my save gave onto the PC and find out what flippin bit I'm missing. So if anyone knows how I might do this .. the DATA/OPTIONS files seem like they are likely nearly identical. I spent some time trying to work out how the road discovery was encoded in the files (not the total but the actual roads) with no luck. So far no luck and my missing 1% haunts me eveytime I boot up the game ... taunting me. cheers.
  7. Race to Win It's hardly been any time since the Toyota FT-1 Concept Coupe was unveiled at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, and already we have word that Polyphony Digital will be bringing the car via a FREE update to Gran Turismo 6 tomorrow, January 14th. In the update is a unique Seasonal Event that features the car, if you manage to get Bronze or better in the challenge at Laguna Seca then the car will be yours, however if you are useless then fear not as you can still get your hands on the car by purchasing it directly from the Toyota dealer. The car is from the creative minds at Calty Design Research (Calty) who have worked with Toyota for over 40 years, creating some of their most cutting-edge concepts and design ideas. Calty approached the Gran Turismo developer Polyphony Digital to recreate the concept to use as part of the design studio's pitch to the higher-ups at Toyota. It worked, seeing the concept envisioned via the Gran Turismo game engine swayed Toyota into going with and recreating the concept. As expected people are already making whispers and raising eyebrows that this could be a Next Supra and with the many design traits the concept contains you can see why. From the long-nose, side profile and that relatively round rear (read: fat ass) it's apparent that there is indeed some Supra heritage floating around in the FT-1 Concept Coupe. So a new Supra that looks like this? Hell yeah bring it on! A rejuvenation of classic Japanese sports cars such as the Supra is well overdue in our eyes! 8. The official Mercedes-Benz twitter has posted a sneak peak of their contribution to 'Vision GT', the future concept car design bonus that will be coming to 'Gran Turismo 6' through 2013 and 2014. What do you think of this and who do you think will make the best "Vision Gran Turismo"? via Twitter / MercedesBenz: Time for a sneak peek! Guess ... For more info on 'Vision Gran Turismo' check out the official Gran Turismo website post on it.
  9. All 3 of you on the PS3 who adore Drake's adventures in the highly-acclaimed Naughty Dog game series of 'Uncharted' can smile a bit more as the games' Multiplayer Maps are now available completely FREE. It's to celebrate the 2nd Year Anniversary of the game and there is a video to show why you should go and download these now... if you have the game that is. Otherwise you could go out and buy it and then come back and download the maps. via Uncharted 3 multiplayer gets final DLC, all maps now free | VG247
  10. Earlier this year a Sony Exec casually ran off a list of games coming to the PS3 this year and within this was "Gran Turismo 6" which got sites rushing and communities excited about a new GT coming before the end of this century. Now a little bit of what could be something, or it could be nothing but nevertheless it's certainly something new and could be another clue to the whole GT6 PS3 tale that's sweeping the rumour mills. :D http://uk.ign.com/articles/2013/04/16/retailer-lists-gran-turismo-6-for-playstation-3
  11. ive been doing searches all morning but i cant seem to find out how to do this. i would like to add different cars and sound effects but i cant find a thread on how to do this for ps3 users. i seen the pc only thread but i bet thats not going to help me.
  12. http://blogs.battlefield.com/2013/08/bring-bf4-mp-stats-to-gen4/
  13. The next iteration of the popular and typically graphically splendid Ace Combat has been announced and even though it may be a small teaser, it's definitely good to see that there will be another chance to 'Dance with the Angels'.
  14. The Real Driving Simulator 6 A new addition in the massively popular Gran Turismo series has been announced at a special event at Silverstone Racing Circuit in the UK today, Gran Turismo 6 (GT6) is coming to the PlayStation 3 before the end of 2013 (well that's the plan!) and will have in the region of 1200 cars with all of those from GT5 being retained, and 71 tracks via 33 locations, 7 of them new including Silverstone. Customisation has been given a boost with the ability to put "thousands of aerodynamic parts and custom wheels" on almost all of the cars and players will be able to create their own unique cars to the "greatest ever level possible", does that hint at a livery editor perhaps? Physics and handling have been given another good look with the joining up with 'Yokohama Rubber' and 'KW Automotive Suspension' being roped in to give extra technical expertise in their respective areas which should make GT5's already decent feeling handling even better and more authentic. With the PS4 coming at the end of this year there are a lot of people asking why bring GT6 to PS3 and not PS4 and that is of course a fully valid question, but for myself personally who grew up playing Gran Turismo from the start I just see it as a continuation of the two main GT titles per key Sony platform; PS1 had GT and GT2, PS2 got GT3 and GT4 and now PS3 is following suit with GT5 and now GT6. There has already been hints of a GT for PS4 and whether this will be a upgraded version of GT6 or a wholly new in the way of GT7 is something we will just have to wait to see. What's certain is that Polyphony Digital always seem to get the best out of the machines they develop for so GT on PS4 is going to simply breathtaking! Here's hoping that they put some of this new extra power and performance into other aspects of the game and finally give the GT fans the perfect GT we have been waiting for since bloody 1998!! A demo of GT6 will be out in July. 15. GT Underscore... ? There's no bigger racing series around than Gran Turismo and believe it or not it's celebrating it's 15th anniversary, well it actually did that back in December 2012 when it was launched in Japan but for those of us in Europe and the Americas where the game was launched on the 8th for Europe and the 12th for North America it is actually essentially 15 years to the day when many of us got our hands on the original 'The Real Driving Simulator'. I myself remember going down to the shop I pre-ordered from and picking the game up, getting home throwing open the PS1 lid and spinning the game up. And if there was one game where you watched an entire intro time and time again it was Gran Turismo. My version had the and it did not half get you fired-up to race and to chase after the credits to buy the cars you saw. *good times* Anyway it looks like we are going to get to see what the future of GT will be as there has been a media event announced at Silverstone Grand Prix circuit for the 15th May. Will it be GT6 for PS3 as has been heavily rumoured since the start of this year, a cross-gen GT release or maybe even a GT for all PS systems? Only time will tell but as with everything to do with a new GT possibly coming, it's going to be very well worth the watch. And here is hoping that this time the wait isn't quite so long as it was with Gran Turismo 5. Discuss Gran Turismo on the forum.
  16. Wolfenstein: The New Order revealed - GameSpot.com What's eye-brow raising about this is that the game is being developed by a number of those behind the Chronicles of Riddick and Darksiders games. :hmmm:
  17. Got It Uncovered GRID 2 has less than a month now to it's release day (wow time flies!) and they haven't been shy in throwing out the videos the last few weeks to show players what is coming their way when it does. Impressively, Codemasters have been live-streaming the game on it's twitch.tv channel, answering questions submitted via twitter and the live chat accompanying the stream as well as uploading the recording to youtube and their facebook for those who may have missed it. So what do we have on offer then, well we got plenty of videos showing off some of the tracks, another showing the time attack aspect of the game and another showing some of the customisation you guys will be able to do to your car. Some of these you can see below but for the full inventory be sure to check out the GRID 2 Youtube and watch what you want to your little hearts content.
  18. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer!! Yes the legendary series created by Namco Bandai has returned for yet another installment in the franchise, this time hopefully without the . This time Ridge Racer returns in the format of 'Driftopia' - a Free-to-Play title being developed by Bugbear Entertainment (FlatOut series). Judging on what the developers say, the game will be released for free on PC and PS3 in the second or third quarter of 2013. As always to support themselves, micro-transactions will be available in the game, players can assumedly purchase cars, upgrades and more with their own hard-earned cash. Ridge Racer has been around as long as the PlayStation itself, with other formats on the N64 and DS 'handheld' consoles and it has always been a massive success because of it's track variety and engaging gameplay. And now with it being brought to the world for free, even more people can enjoy the franchise that has never seemed to die. Let us know what you think in the comments.
  19. Maximum Multiplayer Mayhem Codemasters have released a new trailer depicting the multiplayer aspect of GRID 2 and you have to say it is looking decidedly mental! All about everything to do with the multiplayer side of the game as you would imagine we get glimpses of normal races, drifting and RaceNet which is like a social networking platform for the game. With it you can search for friends, follow others, show your ranking and upload videos of your escapades in the game. Many locations that have been seen before are shown but with the visual splendour of this game it's no bad thing and that is one thing GRID 2 has going for it, it's graphics. Just like the first it's a very pretty looking game, and if you thoroughly enjoyed the original GRID and spent many hours on then no doubt the sequel will be right up your street, alley, circuit.. well you get the idea. :) GRID 2 is out May 28th 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
  20. The Waiting Game Begins In an interview toward the end of February, SCEE (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe) Senior Vice President Michael Denny was recorded stating that GT6 would indeed be coming to the Playstation 3. He didn't bother correcting himself, he just let it slip out - the cat is now out of the bag. Though we knew GT6 was coming, it was inevitable, but for it to be blurted out by an executive took Gran Turismo fans by surprise. By now, of course we all know this information - it happened close to a month ago; however there has been no news beyond that slip of the tongue and that might not be good news. Let's just get it out of the way right now, Polyphony doesn't know the meaning of the word "deadline" - Kazunori Yamauchi doesn't like to rush, he'd rather have perfection. And most loyal GT fans feel exactly the same, the stereotypical GT player has the patience of a monk and will wait through countless delays to finally get their hands on the next game in the series. However this is where things get a bit complicated; Gran Turismo 5 released three whole years after GT5 Prologue came out and six years after Gran Turismo 4. As a result, many members of the media weren't impressed with the overall product when it finally released at the end of 2010. Many saw it as a grinding disappointment after so many years of waiting, the consensus from many was that the waiting wasn't worth it. However with the news of Gran Turismo 6 supposedly being on the near horizon it makes us wonder, will Polyphony actually make a deadline? Or will they once more delay the game far into the future? There's no doubt that Gran Turismo 5 still has plenty of life to it, thanks to the regular updated that Polyphony provides to it - but just how long will fans have to wait for the next installment? After all, it really isn't up to SCEE when Polyphony finishes their game and we all know they won't finish it until they feel it's absolutely complete. And since Gran Turismo 6 seems to be releasing on PS3 and PS4, which one would you rather have it on? Be sure to let us know how you feel in the comments below and tell us what you think Polyphony has to do to make this the best Gran Turismo ever.
  21. 3, 2, 1 Go! Milestone have announced the release dates for their action-arcade WRC title that's coming to Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) and PlayStation Store (PSN) this month. 22. Racing all over the World! Codemasters has today released the latest trailer of GRID 2. The video is the first gameplay trailer and shows some of the new locations players will be able to race around, including Paris, Barcelona, California, Chicago and the Red Bull Ring circuit in Austria. Several cars are shown too but we'll leave you to pause through the clip and name them as there is so many and a few surprises too! GRID 2 is released in May this year for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Pre-order specials are available to early adopters! 23. Eutechnyx Brings Regular Updates NASCAR fans, myself included, watched the decline of NASCAR video games come to a screaming halt with NASCAR 09. EA Sports had gradually been neglecting the franchise and it showed greatly upon their finished products. The future looked extremely dim until Activision purchased the rights to the NASCAR franchise and came out with NASCAR: The Game 2011. Sure the new franchise isn't perfect, but Activision and Eutechnyx are making the effort to get there. That effort manifests itself in the continual release of DLC and patches for their new game, NASCAR The Game: Inside Line. Announced today, the brand new Generation 6 cars of NASCAR will be available to download on Xbox Live and the Playstation Network by the end of February; which is around the same time they will be debuting in their first real season of NASCAR Racing. They will be available for use in single player and online races, along with the Inside Line Highlight series of DLC which lets players recreate famous NASCAR races using real life, telemetric data. The cars can be purchased using the in-game Ticket Currency or you can have it as part of the Inside Line Highlights Pack previously mentioned. As always you can find all the information you need on the official site here. [gallery size=gallery-thumbnail" itemtag="div" icontag="span" link="file" columns="5]
  24. Here's a question for you that I guess won't be answered until the PS4 releases, but with talk about it being '4K' is Sony already aiming too high with the specs of it's next-gen PlayStation? Looking back now Blu-ray was a brave choice but one that probably has paid off as BD is now all around us and in fact we are now looking to what the next format will be as it's successor if even a physical format will be the future! Wait I'm straying off my intended topic here. The PS3 when released cost let's face it, a bomb as it was very expensive. It wasn't long till you were hearing that developers were struggling to work with the machine and then on-top of this you had the whole "could do with some more memory" thrown into the mix whereas it was clear that Microsoft had listened to what devs had to say about their new platform and as can be clearly seen the Xbox 360 is clearly better for it as with several multi-format titles the Microsoft machine does have the upper hand in visuals. So my question to you all is, has Sony learned from the mistakes of the PS3 and if so do you think the PS4 will be a much better machine due to it, and if not do you think they will struggle in the next-generation? Answers on a postcard please to: KEVIN BACON, 4GEE, EARTH, MILKY WAY, CENTRE OF UNIVERSE.
  25. GRID Ready to Race! Codemasters has announced the release date for the highly-anticipated GRID 2 which will be racing it's way to retailers in North America on May 28th and in Europe on May 31st for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Along with this there was also the mention of a GRID 2 Special Edition which is available for pre-order and features extra content that will be redeemable via Xbox Live, PlayStation Network and PC. In the UK the retailer GAME has Exclusivity over what's called the 'Brands Hatch Special Edition', this gives buyers access to 2 routes [layouts?] on the infamous Brands Hatch GP circuit as well as 2 new cars of the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition and the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 GT. McLaren Racing Pack: Receive the exclusive McLaren MP4-12C GT3 Special Edition car to race in single-player, multiplayer and a special online event; plus expand the game with two new routes around the Brands Hatch GP circuit.
