1. I'ts me again, i promise i will stop releasing mods but for now i will. :D So here i have something for you.Because there is some v10 bmw good and smooth and clean version, i decide to give you something harder V10 TURBO. SORRY FOR THE STARTING SOUND I WILL FIX IT TOMORROW!!! Preview: Download: RUF_Spyder_audio.bnk I promise other mods for today but they will be released soon: Mercedes G65 Ferrari Colection Ford cosworth turbo Lamborghini gallardo v10 twin turbo You are not able to edit and share on other sites! If you dont like the sound mod please PM me to told me what you dont like about it!!Very important for me. :)
2. Hello again people! I have a great mod request, the extremely rare VW Nardò coupe/ roadster. Possibly a Zonda F replacement? or something that fast would be realistic. Replication of the W12 engine's sound is essential. Specs: Engine-W12 Horsepower-600 Weight-2646 lbs Top Speed-221+mph 0-62mph-~3.2seconds As far as i'm aware there are a handful of 3D models of the Nardo coupe from GT4, GT5, the best 3D model being GT6, also Race Driver: GRID as well as TDU1 where the Nardò Roadster can be found. I believe As for the sound, the best place to hear the car is the link below.
3. Project Horsepower Github | Roadmap | Twitter The project I don't plan building a AAA-scaled game nor a real open-world like Forza Horizon 3 or The Crew (with a 0$ budget and a one-man sized team this isn't realistic at all). Instead, the whole idea is to create an open-world racing game with high quality features (physics, graphics, multiplayer, gameplay, ...) and as much content as possible. I might receive help for asset creation (or might even end up setting up a Kickstarter to get a budget to hire freelance artists); I just don't know yet, this isn't my top priority right now. The most important part of the project is modding: everything is moddable. By everything I mean: graphics (models, textures, materials, ...), physics (per vehicle or per 'world'), audio, game modes, ...* The mods will either be applied on the server side or on the client side (with more or less restrictions depending on the kind of mod). *: some stuff aren't implemented yet so I can't guarantee everything will be part of the final product The game Gameplay One word: MULTIPLAYER. To put it short, there won't be any solo/offline activities (except offline free-roam). The project is still at an early stage so I can't really talk about the game modes without being a Peter Molyneux copycat (no offence to him). You should expect free roam, races, cat and mouse, car ball, CTF, user-made mods, ... I'd also like to add some aspect of TDU1 (the whole real estate thingy, car dealers, road discovery, ...). But again, I'll come back to these later. Physics I guess it's a matter of taste, but I think a MMO racing game should aim for semi-realistic/arcade physics. The current state of the physics is closer to arcade than simulation (since a lot of components are missing) but in the end it should be close to semi-realism. Graphics Nothing too out of the ordinary here, this is basically what you may find in any other game. Special attention will be paid to the car paint. As you can see in the screenshots below, there is still a lot of work to do. Network Another huge part of the project. Right now, the game can handle up to 24 players in the same session (with each player having a ping <100ms), using exclusively a client-server infrastructure. This should easily be upgradable considering how basic the implementation is right now (no delta compression, lame physics prediction, ...). Notice that game lobbies won't handle as many people as free-roam. Technical Stuff The engine is written in C++ (using C++11standard), scripts in Python and Batch, physics uses Bullet Physics; it supports Direct3D11 as graphics API. The renderer uses Forward Plus Shading, supports point/spot lights and a limited amount of area lights. The render pipeline is PBR (well as much as I can understand what PBR really mean) and uses a dynamic modular architecture (to make it short: it uses less memory and can easily be extended without rewriting a lot of code). Screenshots Right now, if you have any idea or cool stuff to add to game, questions, ... feel free to post here. :D
4. The hype is real, kids - Santtu and I have ONCE AGAIN tossed around the idea of reviving a Race League while the game is hot - anyone who'd be interested in taking part please let us know so we can calculate accordingly! :D Update: DETAILS ARE HERE! 5. That game literally shaped my interests in music today. Jazz and any sort of piano arrangements, I absolutely love. :) Can't say anything about the non-menu music in the game, though. Turned it off before the first time I raced. But seriously, the producers of the music in question had quite some talent.
6. DRIVECLUB Future? It's been over a year since Evolution Studios released Driveclub and what a year it has been for them and indeed for us gamers. They did however make a complete hash of the release as the game was plagued by server issues for several months. But they kept their heads down and made a damn good game in the process. In the past year, over 50 new cars have been added to the game, more than doubling the car list, a handful of new tracks have been added and graphical updates that brought us the spectacular weather amongst other things in a mix of both free and paid for updates. Not to mention that the season pass offered exceptional value for money [caption id=attachment_3521" align="aligncenter" width="800] They even simulate double rainbows[/caption] But where can Evolutions Studios go next? Game director of Driveclub, Paul Rustchynsky has been dropping a few hints on Twitter about the future of Driveclub. Here's what he's had to say recently. I'm keeping my hopes up for a second season pass as I can't wait to sink my teeth back into this game!
7. Feedback Aplenty Thanks to Codemasters, Broadcast Journalism student and 'Motorsport YouTuber' Andre Harrison was exclusively permitted to record his limited gameplay session and share it with the world. His praises the development team for taking a step backwards towards the original Race Driver GRID title in terms of content and handling. It's a little hard to judge ourselves due to his, erm... aggressive driving style (at least in the touring cars), but do share your thoughts in the comments section below. Also showcased is the sharp menu interface and the replay system that Codies are particularly proud of. Oh and Ravenwest are back. Is this title on your 'must-have' list for 2014? Is being similar to GRID 1 a good or bad thing? Is there room for GRID Autosport and Project CARS to share the market? Do you think Codemasters made the right call releasing early on current-gen consoles? These are the questions - scroll down and submit your answers! GRID Autosport is due for release on PC (Steam), Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 on Friday the 27th of June 2014.
8. As ever I'm here to propose what I always propose - some kind of league for GT6.. we all need to work together to make something happen, I'm sure it could be some good fun if we get enough people involved. I was thinking some kind of enduro racing, so we'd have to pit, etc. I know Ryan has his own league thingy in Straya or whatever, I was interested in hearing from everyone on their thoughts?
9. What a sixpack! Slightly Mad Studios' Project CARS just keeps growing as Audi has just been announced to become the latest brand to join the community-assisted simulator! As many as six Audis are joining the game, including the latest rendition of their supercar: the 2013 R8 V10 Plus as well as its big brother, the 2013 R8 LMS Ultra GT3, which will challenge the recently announced Bentley amongst other GT3 racers. The 1989 90 IMSA GTO is a beast that could prove to be tough but rewarding to control and it will surely find its own fans. Le Mans heritage is not forgotten as included are both the 2002 R8 LMP900 and the 2011 R18 TDI LMP1, both of which have shown their domination at the track. Last but not least is my personal favourite, the small 2012 A1 Quattro - a 256hp version of Audi's tiny A1 which I'm really eager to test! All of these cars will surely be great fun to drive and they'll be hitting the tracks in Fall 2014 when Project CARS is released for the PS4, Xbox One, SteamOS, Wii U and of course PC. 10. Hi, I bought me a new racing wheel, but it isnt compatible with the game. can someone help me getting it compatible? the wheel is a Speedlink Drift O.Z.
11. Want to get one of your screenshots on the forum banner for ~2 weeks? This is the place you want to be then! * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes). Send a PM to the person who chose the theme if you are not sure about your interpretation. * Images must not exceed 5MB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall. * Each person who enters must cast 3 votes for other entrants in the same week to remain eligible. You absolutely must not vote for yourself. Voting infringements may lead to disqualification in the event of a tie. * Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides. * Winner has 48h to PM a new theme to me or another member of staff if I'm away, if they fail to meet this then forum staff will pick the theme. * Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them are not eligible). Please mention what game your screenshot is from if not obvious. * Minor non-enhancing editing permitted (cropping, addition of your name, etc) is permitted, as long as the actual screenshot isn't tampered with. Just like all the other photo comps before. Week 43: GT3 Racing Cars "Welp, sorry I'm a bit late with this. My theme of choice would be GT3 racecars as in BMW M3/Z4 GT3, SLS GT3, 12C GT3 etc etc, should be clear enough Cheers!"
12. Honda, I applaud you! You really know how to make me want to throw a wheelbarrow of cash at you! First with making a new Civic Estate(Aerodeck sounds wayyy cooler though), then making the next Civic Type-R a manual only and now in a way combining the two to give us... Yes, Honda's BTCC Civic for next year is the Estate! Now weather its for marketing the new estate or not(that's on sale from next year), or a massive hint the next gen Type-R will come as an estate. Last time we had an estate racing in the BTCC(or any top-tier motorsports) was the Volvo 850 Estate back in 1994 in the BTCC. Only took 20 years for them to come back. ;)
13. I've been looking all over for days and I still can't find a Logitech G25 (with everything) for $160 or less. Excluding Ebay bids. Can anyone help? As you can see, there is absolutely no reason to tell me to look for G27's. They're only more expensive, and quite frankly, look like they have little difference aside from more buttons on the G27 and a selector for sequential gear on the G25.
14. I'm involved with a weekly Gran Turismo 5 league that has official championship races on Tuesday nights. In this thread you'll be able to find live recordings of each race. The league name is OzCoMoBros, which stands for Australian Company of Motorsport brothers. The league host, Velly (or Velster) is an Engineer and Test Driver at Ford in Geelong. The league structure is as follows: Pre-league - nominate car suggestions (one make or multiple, which cars, vote on a shortlist), same for track selections, and propose other ideas. One or two weeks of test races with the chosen cars at random tracks. Race night (Tuesday): 8:30pm - join the room for hot laps/practice. 9:00pm - a 3 lap shakedown practice race (helps to get rid of Turn 1 kitters). 9:10pm - 10 minutes of qualifying - fastest lap time starts first. 9:20pm - 3x ~20 minute races for points or 1x 60+ minute endurance race with pit stops. All aids are disabled except for ABS x1. All tuning is prohibited. There are two tiers - Tier 1 run harder tyres for the elite drivers, Tier 2 for the decent drivers, and Tier 3 for those who can't drive. I'm in Tier 2, which on average gives me about 2 seconds per lap compared to when I drive on Tier 1 tyres. On the other hand, I am the only person who drives in cockpit view, which balances things out a little. Feel free to mock provide constructive feedback and point out a few things I may have not noticed in the heat of the battle. I openly acknowledge I'm not the worlds best racer [insert gasp here] and currently the races occur when it's hot in here and it's after work so I'm often a bit tired which leads to lazy racing. I'll start posting videos in the next post and keep all links here + a season standings grid as provided by the host. Season 8 Round 1 - Grand Valley East Round 2 - Deep Forest Round 3 - Cape Ring Inside Round 4 - LeMans Endurance Event Round 5 - Rome Reverse Round 6 - Daytona Road Course Round 7 - Motegi Twin Rings Round 8 - Eifel Custom Track Round 9 - Madrid Endurance Event Round 10 - Indianapolis Road Course After 9 rounds: Driver Standings: Team Standings Only the top two placing drivers for each team score points for their team ------------------ Season 6 Round 1 - Deep Forest Reverse Round 2 - Trial Mountain Round 3 - Grand Valley Short Reverse Round 4 - Eiger Short Reverse Round 5 - Suzuka GP Wet (1/2 Points) Round 6 - Clubman Stage Route 5 Round 7 - Autumn Ring Mini Didn't attend Round 8 - Nürburgring GP/D Round 9 - Cape Ring Inside Round 10 - Twin Rings Motegi - Short Course FINAL CHAMPIONSHIP STANDINGS - SEASON 6
15. Congrats to T1M for winning the DGS competition last week. * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes) * Images must not exceed 5MB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall. * Each person who enters must cast a vote in the same week to remain eligible. You may not vote for yourself. * Winning image must not be of TDU2 as you risk account suspension. * Winner picks the next theme, unless winning consecutively, in which case the runner up decides. * Winner has 48h to PM a new theme to me or another member of staff if I'm away, if they fail to meet this then the theme will be a free round. * Competition is limited to games on all platforms of any age that are classified as driving/racing games. (i.e. FPS games that have cars in them wouldn't be eligible). Please mention what game your screenshot is from. * Minor non-enhancing editing permitted (cropping, addition of your name, etc) is permitted, as long as the actual screenshot isn't tampered with. Just like all these other comps. Week 37: Racing Battles
16. If they think I'm going to spend $550AU on their console + $100 on FM5 and then not have any concerns that my $1300 wheel/pedal/shifter combo doesn't work with it then they must be crazy. PS4 just won (for me)
17. I'm looking for a for a realistic/sim-like game, but which includes as little as possible setup-options. Basically i'm willing to invest a LOT of hours of training in difficult car/track-combinations, but I'm not willing to fiddle around with the setup to no end to get an proper driving car in the first place. Lets say I'm willing to setup over/understeer (yes I know in real life a lot of stuff has to do with what), steering-angle (to adjust the steering ratio to my liking) , gearchanges and tyre-type (dry/intermediate/wet; soft/hard). Is there some game like that in existence? I already tried NFS Shift1+2, but the controls and/or physics of that feel mushy/floaty - even with mods. Besides Shift also had a full setup (diffs, height etc) so I was at a disadvantage anyway. Besides the restrictions, it can't be ancient, since it has to work stable under Win7x64, and shortly in Win8.1x64 as well. Steering wheel is Logitech G27
18. A fun series for those of us don't have the time/commitment to join one of the other serious leagues. By casual, I mean it's not the end of the world if you miss a couple of races The format would be as follows: One short practice/qualifying race (i.e. 3 or 4 laps) which will set the grid. Then 2 longer races on the same track (about 25 minutes each), the second being reverse grid. Points are awarded for the top 15 drivers. At the end of the series, we subtract the worst results from say 6 races from everyone (which means drivers could miss up to 6 races (3 nights) without any championship disadvantage, which keeps things closer for everyone). The goal is to have fun and keep things close for drivers of varying skill level. "Casual" does not apply to driving standards though. If you bump-pass or hit someone off the track, you will need to safely pull off the racing line (check your mirrors), wait for them to recover, and follow them and retry the overtaking maneuver. This helps to prevent needless contact since you risk your own position, and if you get punted off the track, you've still got someone to race against. The car is the Gumpert Apollo S on default tyres. You can change the rest of the setup but must post a screenshot of your changes on the WMD at least 15 minutes before qualifying starts The start time for the practice/qualifying race would be at 11:45am GMT (which is 8:45pm Australian Eastern Time (GMT+10)). The first race will start 15 minutes later. --- Registered Teams/Drivers: Team Beran #7 - Ryzza5 #8 - WonderWeasel Team 2 # Ozzmcom # MrLolololXD Team X Global Systems #24 - Santtu #25 - T3hReaper91 Team SMAD Racing #19 - TDUFREAK500 #20 - Destroyer-GT Team 5 # LeDude83 # leadclimbing Team 6 # Mostly Sunny # BuToNz Team Garton Racing #12 - gsto2 #13 - cjorgens (NB I have this thread posted on the WMD forums which is where the additional names are from) Saturday July 20 - Practice & Testing at Anhalt Short using various cars (all in one car first race, all in another car second race, etc) to compare lap times - not compulsory but would be a good chance to meet each other and see what everyone's driving style is. SEASON 1 CALENDAR Saturday 27 July - Round 1 (Practice + 2 races) - Heusden (Zolder - Belgium) Saturday 3 August - Round 2 (Practice + 2 races) - Bologna (Imola - Italy) Saturday 10 August - Round 3 (Practice + 2 races) - Moravia (Brno - Czech Republic) Saturday 17 August - Round 4 (Practice + 2 races) - Eifelwald GP (Nurburgring - Germany) Saturday 24 August - Round 5 (Practice + 2 races) - Derbe National (Donington Park - UK) Saturday 31 August - Round 6 (Practice + 2 races) - Milan (Monza - Italy) Saturday 7 September - Mid Season Break (no races) Saturday 14 September - Round 7 (Practice + 2 races) - Emirates Raceway National (Dubai Autodrome) Saturday 21 September - Round 8 (Practice + 2 races) - Anhalt GP (Oschersleben - Germany) Saturday 28 September - Round 9 (Practice + 2 races) - Florence GP (Mugello - Italy) Saturday 5 October - Round 10 (Practice + 2 races) - Belgian Forest (Spa Francorchamps - Belgium) Saturday 12 October - Round 11 (Practice + 2 races) - Loire National (France) Saturday 19 October - Round 12 (Practice + 2 races) - Northampton (Silverstone - UK) This feels a little long - let me know what you think - we could turn it into 2 seasons. If we do it as one season, I'll increase the amount of events you can skip from 4 to 6 (3 nights). For those who don't skip any, their 6 worst races (as far as points go) will be subtracted. If you're confused and worried... don't be, I've done this before in a GT5 league and it all works out. If for any reason you get a penalty in a race and lose points because of it, that race won't be counted as part of your worst 6. Teams To add another interesting element, we plan to have a team championship as well as drivers championship. All this means is that you pair up with a buddy and race the same colour SLS. On the track there will be someone that you especially don't want to slow down/crash into, and if you're not placing too well in the championship you can at least still work towards the possibility of a team win. Due to the possibility of odd numbers or absent drivers we won't take this too seriously, it'll be somewhat experimental. Rules 1. Track Limits You must always keep at least two wheels on the track. This means inside the line/curb. If you cut slightly, just back off the accelerator for a bit to make sure there's no time advantage. If you miss a chicane and cu it, you'll need to slow down enough to make sure you don't get any advantage (assuming the game hasn't penalised you). Replays of each race will be saved and checked, any found to be wilfully gaining an unfair advantage may incur a time penalty. 2. Contact Bump-passing or dive-bombing (pushing someone wide in a corner to overtake) is not permitted, if you accidentally do this, let them back past and try again. If you cause someone to spin out or crash or push them off the track, you will be required to slow down safely (watch for other players) and let them back past you. Players not doing this will be penalised. 3. Safe Rejoining If you go understeer off the track or have spun off and need to rejoin, check for other players approaching at speed. It is likely that they will use all the track following a corner and would crash into you if you rejoined without looking. The faster car on the track will have right of way, so keep driving on the side of the track until you are far enough away from the previous corner for players to be able to move over and pass you safely. Ensure you have controls mapped to look left/right/behind. IMPORTANT NOTES: Qualifying: Don't all race off at the same time if you don't want to be held up, one person will take off every 5 seconds, in whichever order they are placed on the grid. Races: As per other leagues, do not go racing as soon as the lights go out. Lap one of the race will be a formation lap with a 100kph speed limit. As soon as possible, get yourself into the correct position (announced in lobby). Then once you reach Sector 3 (T2 on map), get into formation*. The leader can choose when to begin accelerating from when they reach the last grid lines to the start/finish line. As soon as they accelerate the race is on, no backing out of it. *Side by side formation (2 rows), the leader should know which side of the track has the inside line for Turn one and take that position early in the formation lap. There is to be no swerving or stop/starting to warm up tyres in Sector 3 of the formation lap. Large incidents: Hopefully we're all careful and avoid these but in case they happen, and a lot of drivers are affected, I may type 'sc' (safety car), in which case all drivers should slow down to 100kph, maintain position, and go back into formation (SINGLE FILE for safety car restarts). It may be helpful for the lead car to acknowledge the 'sc' call by swerving to warm up tyres, as some may not notice the chat text, but will recognise the swerving. I will endeavour to wait until the lead drivers are on a straight before typing this - although there is some chat lag I've noticed. --- Please post below to register. Let us know if you'd prefer to enforce default setups or allow custom. Tires must be the default option. Make sure you're in the Steam group I created for this league:

20. Graphical Visualisation Eutechnyx have released a video full of shiny graphics that fly and whiz about with info and stats about the milestones and amounts hit during the Beta phase of their free-to-play title Auto Club Revolution. The game which went fully-launched a few days ago seems to be getting a good bit of praise from people and is definitely a title racing game fans should check out at their website. Our members have been talking about and sharing their impressions of the game in our forums!

If cheap enough I might also check out Formula Truck and GRID 2. DiRT, NFS, and Forza will have to knock my socks off to get me to stay up to date, FM5 has the benefit of an extra year in production. If there's a bunch of recycled content (tracks mainly) and that boring career calendar I'll probably leave it.
22. Congratulations to Prophecy for winning the Driving Game Screenshot of the Week last week. * Stick to the implied theme (don't look for technical loopholes) * Images must not exceed 2048kB, and be at least 990px wide by 340px tall. Week 23: Road Legal Versions of Racing Cars (1980-1999) http://i746.photobucket.com/albums/xx106/TDUFREAK500/SlammedE36M31_zpsef823c30.png
23. Oh Lord, won't you license me a Mercedes-Benz Slighty Mad Studios (SMS) have recently announced on their WMDPortal website that they have licensed some of the very best that Mercedes-Benz has to offer both now and from the past. As any car fanatic will know, Mercedes-Benz has a very popular history in not only racing but also with their road cars and as you would expect the team at SMS will be bringing the cream of the crop to Project CARS (pCARS). With legends such as the 300SL W194, the much loved Sauber C9 and - my personal favourite - the 190E 2.5-16 Evolution 2 DTM and more there is going to be something for every type of motorsport (ok except for F1) fan from Le Mans to Touring Cars. That's not all of them of course and it won't just be racers only as two road cars are also going to be included in the SLS AMG and the A45 AMG. 25. In what has stunned a number of the gaming press and the developers supporters, Criterion Studio Chief Alex Ward has appeared to say 'enough' to racing games and that it's time to try something new. The acclaimed team behind the Burnout and most recent Need for Speed reboots of Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted went on twitter to express his views and answer some questions about a future Burnout or even a Road Rash game.
