  2. This has turned into a bloody nightmare. I recently switched from Vista to 7 and this means reinstalling all your old games. Not a problem, PITA but doable. While trying to activate TDU1 again, BAM! It requires communication with the TDU1 server. Oh wait, Atari shut that down! So I contact Atari support to try and solve it. This is the communication. Somebody please tell me you have a solution, I'm working with fvcking imbeciles over at Atari. Me Date 2/3/13 I recently switched platforms, from Vista to 7 and I am now trying to re-stall TDU. I'm having a problem activating the game though and I downloaded the game a long time ago from Direct2Drive. The TDU server is no longer online so I cannot connect to it to activate the game. My activation code is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and the unlock request code is UHQPJ-DYVT3-5FAM9-R5WFQ-97HEX-MS3CC-G6PYR-8HZ42-FZ23. I need an unlock code to activate the game manually. ****Note: unlock request code changes every time.****** Thank you, J Bauer Me Date 2/6/13 Can somebody help me please? Me Date 2/11/13 I would really appreciate some help here. I don't think I'm being unreasonable to ask for some help, am I? So, please, would someone help me. Thank you. Atari Date 2/13/13 Greetings! Thank you for contacting us. Is this the TDU 1 or the TDU 2 ? Me Date 2/13/13 TDU1. Atari Date 2/14/13 Greetings, Thank you for contacting the Atari Customer Support Team. We have issued you a new product code for TDU 1: %%%%%%%%%%%%%%% you need to uninstall the game and make a new installation using the key i provide also make a back up of the save file If you continue to have any issues, please feel free to let us know. Sincerely Me Date 2/14/13 The new product key did not help me. I cannot connect to the activation server and I have a good feeling it's because Atari shut down the online TDU1 server back in September. I even disabled my firewall and antivirus software momentarily to make sure my computer wasn't blocking the connection. I need an unlock code so I can manually activate the game without needing to connect to any server. I also uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. My unlock request code is CWRHZ-NBB4Q-29TUU-6WVP2-MBLDW-RT6QV-WJX57-JC4WH-2H92. Please, can I have an unlock code? Atari Date 2/18/13 Greetings! Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. Unfortunately the servers for the game TDU 1 are down we have put those servers off line and most probably thats the reason you won't be able to connect to the server Me Date 2/18/13 That's what I've been trying to tell you guys from day one. Now that we are on the same page, let's move onto solving the problem. Since words alone are not working, I figured a picture should help. See the attached photo to go a long with what I'm writing. At the top, noted in red, is where the product key goes. We've established this as useless without the server but just for clarification, the key is $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Now onto the 2nd part, the unlock request code. I've provided this in the first post of this ticket but it will change every single time I try to launch the game. Now what I need, the unlock code to manually activate the game. This does not require an online server. ******Note: I included a picture showing the activation screen for TDU1, I'm not going to here, at least not yet.***** Now, can you please help me?

  4. Red Dwarf crew come back to earth 7 hours 25 mins ago Cult comedy Red Dwarf is returning to the small screen this Easter, 21 years since the science fiction series first blasted off. For eight series, Dave Lister wanted to return to his home planet. Now, at last, he has - in Red Dwarf: Back to Earth. Written and directed by Red Dwarf co-creator Doug Naylor, the new show reunites Chris Barrie as Rimmer, Craig Charles as Lister, Danny John-Jules as Cat and Robert Llewellyn as Kryten. The two-part series Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, will kick start a Red Dwarf Easter weekend from Good Friday. This will be followed by Red Dwarf: Unplugged, a "no holds barred" episode with no sets, no effects - and no autocue. The weekend will climax with Red Dwarf: the Making of Back to Earth, a behind-the-scenes special from the new production. The offbeat series, set in space, has enjoyed phenomenal success since it first aired in 1988 on BBC2. It brought in more than eight million viewers for series eight, sold 7.25 million DVD and videos worldwide, broadcast in some 25 territories worldwide and won International Emmy and British Comedy Awards.
