  1. Free The Crew Ubisoft have revealed that, as part of their 30th Anniversary celebrations, The Crew will be available to download for FREE from September 14th. The massive and open online racer is the first game from Ivory Tower who is staffed by many of the former team who made the Test Drive Unlimited games as well as those from other great names of racing. Set in a scaled down representation of the United States, the game provides plenty for players to do and see with many challenges to attempt and best as well as side missions to complete. Since release the game has had a number of new vehicles released for it, seen bikes join in the fun and received a huge update that overhauled the visuals and introduced weather. There was also the Wild Run expansion, again delivering a plethora of new vehicles and introducing the 'Summit' competition where players could participate in events and challenges to win even more new machinery. And all of this appears to be included, as stated above by The Crew Community Developer, Soufyane Brahimi. The support doesn’t stop there either, as in November the new ‘Calling All Units’ expansion is due out, bringing with it new vehicles and new play modes where being the cop or running from them is the objective. It's something the community has asked for so it will be interesting to see how well it is handled and if it will turn out to be as good as past games that have done this dynamic well. And once you have the game, it's yours. There is no limited time to enjoy or anything. Now that is pretty damn sweet. To get your copy, head over to ubisoftclub.com/ubi30 (Uplay login) from next Wednesday and be sure to grab it before October 14th!
  2. Humble Ubisoft Bundle Encore Another week, another bundle. This time it's in partnership with the somewhat known Ubisoft known for bringing us games such as that one with the cars and that other one with the building climby people, or that other other one with the futurey gadget people. This time you have plenty of notice, more than 13 days in fact to scrape together those pennies for all of the games below, with more to be announced. This weeks charities are Extra Life / Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Stack-Up, and Girls Who Code so why not dig deep, or shallow you tight buggers and have fun supporting them! For a mere $1 you can get the three games above to tide you over until you get chance to play the games below if you paid over the average, which is currently $5.04. And by the time the bundle is over, there will be at least one more game to play. Whose hoping the next game will be Watchdogs? And for those of you who aren't tight buggers, you can get the games below by paying over $15 and $75 respectively for the drivey, climby and futurey games mentioned before! A noteworthy mention is that the majority of these games are only redeemable on Ubisofts uPlay platform as opposed to the usual Steam for these bundles. But for the potential price, you can't really complain can you?
