Well, i just went my TDU without any mods, then i installed the patch 1.68b and right after the island paradise and it finally complete the installation. The unique reason what i can think it's a conflict between v0.89 and v0.95... Lol

Sorry, I wasn't active on TDU:C lately so I'm a bit late to help you. Luckily, you've figured out by yourself. Yay! You've made it. :) Enjoy Milli.

You can find all of your backups in TDU/Mods folder under the IPv095, IPAAv095 or IPWA095. Depends on what you've installed first.

Hey iLL, I was just wondering how to (If you can) uninstall Turbo Lag's Reflection Enhancer mod from the 0.9.5 version of island paradise while still leaving the weather.

I have a bug ppl.... when i install the mod, the map changes to black, al lthe map, and i can only see the road but not the side of the road...

The full version of the mod turns the map black making the roads more visible in the GPS.

 

The lite version leaves the map as it was before I think.

Of course uninstall won't work, you said it yourself - critical error occured during the installation. Post your patch.txt here.

Well, here's your problem.

My guess is that you've probably deleted Papers.bnk from that folder, so installer can't find and replace that file, hence the error.

 

Ever since we learned that by deleting stuff from Details folder will give us few more fps, a lot of people made that mistake. It's 2011 already people, it's about time to update your hardware. :p

 

Anyway, either copy your original Papers.bnk if you have it in backup somewhere, or use the one from IP.

 

Small suggestion though, you already have broken IP installed, so installing it again, and then uninstalling won't help you much because you'll still be stuck with those broken IP files. There's a solution, but you'll have to manually replace files from TDU\Mods\IPv095 folder first.
