How are you liking the new interface so far?

 

 

It runs much more smooth and the guide button doesn't take SO LONG to load. :bananadance3:

Really like the new layout. I have alot darker background on mine that that picture and it looks sleek and works well. Will test it out more tomorrow though.

I quite like the new dashboard however I don't have a clue in hell how to change my theme. :p

Not that I'd really want to though, my laptop and PC are so much quieter.

Not keen on it, hate bing and don't like the fact that I can't skip straight to 'home' from the options on the right. Stupid adverts for a service we pay for doesn't feel right either.

I like it, it's streamlined. The ads are annoying, but I can get past them.

iPlayer and 4OD will improve it next year but right now it's a bit meh. Takes me longer to get to what I want and there seem to be more adverts than ever before.

iPlayer will be a nice addition I agree but I don't like it much compared to the previous. There's something off-putting about your profile avatars looking like they are being hanged when you select one to sign-in. :lol:

Did a quick search - if you change to 'child' account mode you don't get ads. Surely there must be a thread on the MS forums yelling at them to remove the ads though.

Child accounts create a whole host of over problems that you just don't want, though.

Doesn't change the fact that giving Microsoft x amount of money/yr (which is a ripoff in itself for what XBL provides) should make them have no financial need to attempt to make even more money off its customers through the use of ads. It's a matter of putting customer satisfaction over greed, and M$ has never recently done anything that they didn't see money in doing.
