OK OK OK this is simple read and do everything as I say OK...........

1. Uninstall everything about TDU that includes saved games as you have to restart ya profile.

2. Install TDU and when asked for gamespy ID: enter your Nickname, E-mail and PW.

3. Enter the serial of the TDU game if you have the 1.44 like I have it dont matter put the original key in.

4. You will be asked to update, dont if you have purcheased the Megapack.

5. Install megapack and enter the Key

6. restart your system.

7. click on you game and start a fresh profile game.......

I have solved the problem myself, without help from TDU-C or Atari....

took 2 weeks but worth it even though I have to restart my profile.

Ok I have been in the chat room and I have been told that the TDU Servers are up and running.

I have not been able to connect (PC).

when in the house it says TDU Servers Unavaiable, I can see the AI drivers but they are always there. I have never had problems before.

I have just restarted my profile as my last got corrupted in some way?

I do not have any problems with any other games that I play on-line.

If anyone can help maybe the type of settings that I need to do in TDU?

my firewall allows TDU and my anti Virus is AVG and that is ok.:cry:

Not sure if you are still looking at these post's because of the date?

I am on a PC and I can get on in single player but not online, as it says tdu servers unavailable..... been like this a while now

ok thank you, was that for Hamachi or a LAN?

Does anyone know if Hamachi can be used for TDU, if so how do you set it up.

Because I know that TDU looks for the TDU servers that are down most of the time, and me and my step son want to race against each other.

or the other option is a LAN, joining the 2 computers together.....

I done this the other week so I formatted my system as it was getting clogged up and stuff. reinstalled the game and now I really have restarted the game....

I do have a saved game profile but it is corrupted and wont load!!! my wife has a profile and hers loads so I think its the saved game profile thats another reason for the restart.

Anyway what Im saying is ya lost it unless ya backed it up and ya gotta drive all them miles and races again Woohoo what fun

Q, I have just reinstalled my system P.C. and my saved profile seems to be corrupt I can log into my wifes account/profile and drive but it wont allow me to connect to mine on the net...

would this mean that i have to restart the game?

If you are on Vista the screen above should help.

If however you are on XP then do as below......

If you are using the sound device on you motherboard then it should detect it automaticly, If however you have and additional card ( I have the SB Audigy4 ) again it will select that if you have set it up in you control panel.....

heres how.

goto Control panel and select sounds and audio devices, that will open a properties window.

Select the Audio tab and check that the devices are set for you sound card or default sound for mother board sound. You need to select that in all 3 boxes.

This bit will sound strange but goto the voice tab.

and make sure that that is set to your sound card or motherboard default.

Once you have set them up go back into Fraps and check that it has picked up you sound card or default device.....

OK in fraps click the Movies tab...

Here you have the choice to record movies at a set frame rate I prefer 50FPS as the eye

can see upto 35FPS anything below that it will see as lag.....

select best sound input and also check that the record sound is ticked

I have tested this 3 times and it works fine for me.......

I am using the G25 race wheel all set up with the setup file on here which I also use for my TDU.

I am running a quad core q6600 intel 2.40mhz, 4 gig ram, bfg 7900gtx @ 512Mb on XP

I have all my settings cranked right up to max and Im getting 60FPS with no slow down at all at the start of any race weather or track.......

WooHoo am I happy LOL.....:excited:

I set my wheel up using these settings but I can only set mine to 718 or 725?

I have managed to do everything else but I did notice that there was a tick box missing from mine?

it is the ones that are at the top.....

use special force feedback device settings & use special steering wheel settings?

Mobo: Asus P5Q-PRO

chip: Intel Core Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40Ghz

Ram: 4Gig

Sound: SB Audigy 4

I have installed gtaiv 3 times but get so stressed with the graphics lag I uninstall it as its unplayable.

I have added the intro patch and the V2 patch but still the same I have adjusted all the things I can to try and play it but it looks as though I gotta get a Graphics card?

so on a budget of £120 whats out there worth it and not ATI

ok I have a couple of questions?

what size does the AVATAR have to be?

What size does the SIG have to be?

I use PS CS3 and im quite good even if I say so myself LOL

I have some of my work on my FaceBook I get alot of good comments about how it looks and asked how did I do certain things?:)
